Excellent service and great value for the price. Options may seem limited compared to other suit rental companies, however, it's very budget friendly and the quality is top notch. The savings get better the bigger your party is too! I would caution that if you're more comfortable getting fitted in person, there are very limited showrooms. You can get fitted anywhere and plug those numbers directly on the black tux website, but the dimensions may differ slightly from what I've heard from some of the members of our party. I wouldn't worry too much about it though, as they are extremely speedy with shipping out replacements if needed.

The service was all on line and attention to my concerns, amazing! The tux arrived, and while I was impressed, the sleeves were two inches too long. I requested a replacement and I had it in two days! The guys look incredible - while I had no real communication, all by email, the attention paid was 5 star. I highly recommend this service and should I have a need? I definitely will again

I have used the Black Tux for the last 2 years for Prom and both times they did NOT let me down! From last year to this year my son grew a little more than we had expected, but 3 pairs of pants and 2 jackets later we got the look just right and the BEST thing was it was shipped and delivered when they said it would be! We WILL use the Black Tux again!

I have used Black Tux for two weddings I have attended. The tuxes have a modern/slim fit (at least the ones I have rented), and I have really appreciated how seamlessly it all worked. The tux arrived long before the event, and returning it was super easy.

I did spend the extra effort getting myself measured at a Black Tux in Nordstrom, and that was reassuring when I rented the second time as my measurements were on file.

It's good to know that there are alternatives to the shoe/tie selections they recommend. You can switch out from the patent leather shoes to the slip-ons if you like.

I also appreciated the customer service I got in trying to pick a tux. Their advice was spot on.

I was a last-minute invite to a black-tie event. And by last minute, I mean 4 days. I went to several local shops, but not could/would help me. Heard about TBT and they had everything I needed-- AND could get it to me the day of the event (BONUS: I actually got it the day BEFORE the event, which really dialed down my stress level!).
Everything looked fresh and crisp and best of all, as if it had not been worn before. The fit was shockingly good, with only the jacket sleeves being a little too long. However, to be fair, I have never had a jacket "off the rack" be the correct sleeve length due to my build, so I really can't count that as a "ding" particularly within such a tight time-frame.
It was all super easy to re-pack and return.
I was a little skeptical at first (would it be on-time, would it look cheap or worn,) but now, I can't say enough good things about the experience!

After sending back my first ever tux rental from The Black Tux for alterations, every order since has come in timely and with a perfect fit. If you ever experience a mis-fit rental, you will be amazed by the corrections and turn around time that they offer. Additionally, I have had a great experience with overall communication from The Black Tux team. From order details, shipping info, and alterations, their service has been excellent and I will continue to use and recommend their services.

I followed their recommendations and the fit was perfect. Also, the quality was far better than the regular rentals I am used to. I ordered the week of my event and it arrived very quickly. I will definitely rent from here again.

A little expensive but the materials are high quality. Make sure you try on and get any replacement clothes if it doesn’t fit you.

I've used Black Tux multiple times, and they always over deliver, this time was no exception.

We had a few people in our group that needed changes to the outfits at various times, etc, and they got it done with a super helpful and friendly customer service team

I have used Black Tux 2x for friend's weddings and also used them for my own wedding. Overall, I believe they provide a pretty seamless way of renting suits/tuxes and the fit of their garments is solid. The only comment I would make is that their fit could be a bit boxy/baggy for some who prefer a slimmer fit. I would recommend Black Tux if you are looking for an affordable easy solution.

Unwilling to communicate with their customers and never seem to be fully stocked on rentals. Never pick ups the phone and I've tried several times while they were open. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

Firstly, a month after ordering they tell me the warehouse messed up and hadn't shipped my order. (A week before the wedding). It then arrives after multiple emails where they in a nutshell told me it would arrive but couldn't offer a tracking number (no pressure). It finally arrives 2 days late from the 10 days they're supposed to offer.

Tried it on, fit was very bad, pants were too tight, and the jacket and shirt felt like I could land an airplane inside of them. Also the shirt was extremely wrinkled.

First and last time I do business with them.

The tux fit and looked fantastic. I had a problem with the pants, but a replacement was sent out and my problem solved within days.

Brooklyn location super convenient to Manhattan. My fitting appointment was smooth and friendly. There was a plethora of men’s formalwear options to choose from.
Tux arrived early and I was very happy with the fit. No alterations required.
I’d chosen the Black Watch plaid jacket option and as a result was the beau of the ball.
If the bride reads this, I’ll deny, deny, deny.

I was skeptical at first, but The Black Tux made ordering the tuxedo very simple, convenient, and the employees at the Garden City, NY kiosk were great!. The delivery was prompt and email communications were clear and timely. Returning the tuxedos is an easy process too. Maybe the best tell is this...I would recommend & use TBT again!

Very easy to work with. I wasn’t sure my size so I scheduled a fitting and the guy who did my measurements was great. The whole process was fast and convenient.

The Black Tux made ordering the tuxedos my husband and son wore for our daughter's wedding very simple and convenient. The delivery was prompt and email communications were clear and timely.
