Amazing product, skin feels completely refreshed after one use, reordering immediately. Much better than a shower gel or standard bar of soap. Can’t recommend enough.

Developed a severe rash after using the deodorant. Contacted the company who responded promptly indicating that the rash may be caused by either the magnesium hydroxide or essential oil and providing a €25 voucher against future purchases (given the fact that i have over €100 of product that i cant use).
No offer of providing refund or investigating further.
Will not be using this product again.

I was very sceptic about this product but after using it for 2-3 days even my wife noticed the difference on my skin. Great sent, my skin is now spotless and the deodorant kept smelling great even after a tough workout. Highly recommending these products.

This soap is genuinely very nice. It smells gorgeous and feels great on your skin, leaving you feeling really clean after a shower. Overall, the quality is excellent.

I ordered a few different bars. Atlantic Pine Tar was probably my least favourite — it still feels great on the skin, but the scent just isn’t really for me personally. That said, the Citrus one is very nice, and the Irish Mountain Rain and Blackstout bars are both absolutely gorgeous.

I should also mention John Larkin. From what I’ve seen, he seems like an unbelievable guy and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the business and it’s great to see an Irish business doing something unique.

One thing I’d say honestly is about how long the bars last. John mentioned they can last about a month, but I’m a big shower person — I shower twice a day and I’m not shy with the soap. For me, four bars lasted three weeks in total. I cut one bar in half which definitely helped iy last longer, so I’d recommend doing that.

The soap itself is brilliant and the quality is definitely there. The only small downside for me is the price compared to how long it lasts. That said, I’ll probably still buy it again because I like supporting an Irish business and the product is genuinely very good.

Overall: fantastic soap, great scents (especially Irish Mountain Rain and Blackstout), and a great Irish business behind it. 10/10 soap — maybe just a little pricey for how quickly I go through it, but that might just be me.

The soap is fine, but the deo is a disaster.
The product won't come out of the can.
Very strange for a deo with such high pricing.
Bit dissapointing to get a reply that you have to use a hair dryer to get it out.
After a busy day of work I just want to use a deo after shower.
Because of this reply, and the faulty product, I switched to another brand, and have no issues with their deo.

Just used the eucalyptus soap with a rough surface. Absolutely love it great for exfoliating aswell. Wasn't sure but bought it out of curiosity. Will be buying again. Lovely product.

Wonderful product, takes me back to my childhood, when every bath time was a bar of soap time. Quick and easy ordering and excellent delivery schedule all make it a great experience.

I've been using the black stuff now for the past 5 years, it helped my dry itchy skin so much that it's gone all the dry itchy patches are away. It's so good that my work team have all went out and tried and tested it it for themselves and they are all now subscribed buyers.
I have also tried the shaving soaps and they are fantastic. I've not been let done by a single product that I have chosen to use.

Get some for yourself and try it. You won't be disappointed.

Order placed after seeing an ad , appreciating the fact it was hand made in Ireland and made with natural ingredients. Absolutely loved the soap so much we have ordered lots more. Great soap but the marketing is ridiculous, stop sending 3 emails a day every day. The tone of the marketing emails is also bizarre. I'm not an employee or shareholder, I don't care about your business beyond the product you offer. I don't appreciate being bombarded by emails about how hard done by the owner is or how difficult running his business is. It's a shame as I like the soap but won't be buying again because I've now put a spam block on so won't be able to track future orders. Also moving to subscription model is irritating and I have zero interest in buying that way.

Thought I’d give the black stuff a try instead of the usual supermarket purchases. Wish I’d done so sooner as the soap feels fantastic and smells really good. Definitely be back for more when this runs out.

Turns out very good. So good that it’s completely ruined normal shower gel for me. The scents are brilliant, the quality is obvious, and somehow my very ordinary shower now feels like a proper upgrade rather than a rushed necessity. I didn’t expect to be this impressed by a bar of soap, but here we are.

Also a big thank you for the great service quick, easy, and exactly how it should be.
In short: great products, great company, and my bathroom smells amazing. My only complaint is that I now judge every other soap very harshly.

I have already left a review upon first use however ive been using this stuff for around 3 weeks now and would like to share my experience

I had really bad cracked skin on my right hand and after a few weeks of switching to TBS This has completely cleared my hand up and its smooth now and causes me no irritation.

I also dont moisturise all the time so when i was using normal shower gel etc my skin would become dry and itchy, especially my back, however yet again this isnt the case and my back and skin feels like its been moisturised from the these soaps themselves.

Honestly i couldnt recommend these soaps enough to anyone as they are really good. It also feels good supporting a company who are for the people and make great products with natural ingredients.

I know I’m in the minority but I don’t find the soap products particularly appealing, they mostly smell great (in the box) but that’s as far as it goes for me.
I’ve been bought the clean craic bundle as a gift, I’m disappointed at the lack of scent after use.
I’ve asked my miss’s if I smell good after a shower, she’s literally got her nose on my skin before she gets the faintest whiff of scent.
I don’t know if it’s our Yorkshire hard water that’s neutralising the scent but they just don’t meet up to the hype at all.
Disappointingly I’ll be returning the whole bundle.

I’ve been using the Blackstuff soaps and deodorants for about a year. I won’t use anything else now. The soaps are well made and when using them, you feel so clean and fresh. The fresh smells of the soap complement the deodorants excellently. I’ve seen a reduction in some skin conditions when using the soap. My atheletes foot infection has gone. Maybe coincidence, but the natural ingredients mean I haven’t got to worry about chemicals. Best soap on the market.
