System 5 finally delivered after 13 weeks (read all)

The speakers – Teufel System 5, is by far the best home cimema set I have ever heard. And the price is unbelievable. If you want to experience your movies as they are mastered in a studio, you shouldn’t doubt getting the System 5.
After the order, Teufel told me by e-mail that the shipping time would take 1-2 weeks. That didn’t happen. And they didn’t contact me either. So I myself sent them an email, and they told me to wait 5 weeks. That was of course something I just had to accept, but I was disappointed that they didn’t inform me before I contacted them.
7 weeks has passed and no package yet. Again I had to contact them. They told me the delay time was now about 8 weeks. That was unfortunately not true. I kept asking and asking. So – here’s the final arrival. After 12 weeks, a random person on the other side of Norway called me, and asked me if I have had ordered speakers from Teufel. The thing is – my speakers were wrongly delivered to another customer. The speakers were opened one by one and the cables were cut to fit his living room.
After 13 weeks I finally got my speakers that were supposed to reach me 11 weeks earlier. And the condition? Used – by another customer. I contacted DHL and Teufel in a whole week, and they finally made a decision. They could send me new speakers, but I had to expect some delivery time. Hehe. Do you really think I could wait 2-3 months more? I asked Teufel if I just could accept the used speakers, and get compensation, for instance 2 speaker stands for free. No was the answer.
The total amount of phone calls and email I don’t know. But that was a lot. They sent me new speaker cables, but I got charged for the shipping (100NOK). And I kept the used speakers. Teufel answers pretty fast, but not always as the customer should want to. Even at McDonalds, if they are delayed with your food, you will get a compensation. And that’s a fact. At Teufel? Good luck!
Nevertheless, the speakers are awesome, and I recommend them highly.
