The only time I would recommend this software is if you wanted revenge on someone. Otherwise if you feel the need for such protection get rid of the computer/laptop and go use a library computer instead. Or use your mobile device. To be totally fair, it DOES let you use a search engine. Most likely you will not be able to view the web page unless it’s either the bbc, YouTube or sky news etc.
Techloq basically nerfs the device. Imagine a Fisher price tablet, then go lower.
If you want online protection just search the top ten recommendations and use any one of them. Otherwise go back to pen and paper. Trust me it’s easier than dealing with this abomination level of protection.

Filters can get really annoying, I have used many. What I find about Techloq is, that it simply just does the job, quietly on the side without me noticing. I don't need to be exposed to anything indescent, but can get on with my work without getting constant blocks. This really is the best product of its kind.

This filter is getting worse by the day.
they literally block every day more and more websites.
this filter simply forced me to have another device without a filter at all since it was unbearable to use a commuter with their filter!

Great service! Fast response time! Doesn't affect computers speed at all while protecting you from whatever you are choosing to be protected from. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

A year full of headache from techloq. From slow response times to requests for unblocking. System is full of bugs, and slowed my computer down tremendously. Now they only want to give a 85% refund, as it wasn't cancelled on the day, as their own offices were closed to cancel the subscription. STAY FAR AWAY AND CLEAR!!!!!!

they really protect my from bad content but never slow down my computer (other company's like net free do slow down your computer) but they mis categories a lot of sites and they are blocking it by mistake.

what is this, that a filter user can alon always just (with the techloq extension) remove the image filtering or face masking and video blocking from any website, if with just a few buttons you can a alon remove the image filtering or video blocking then what's the point of calling this filter a ''kosher'' filter;
filtering the images is one of the main points of having a kosher filter

what kind of company is that?

I have used a few content filters in the past and none compare to the quality of image filtering this product offers.
Note that the screening level will depend on the reseller or protection level you choose, however their Chrome extension makes it easy to reconfigure.

Excellent filter, but like with all web protection services, one needs to ensure the filter is setup correctly to one's needs.
After adjusting it, it really works amazing.

they are good at blocking sites, but not so good at opening them when you need to. you can request to open a perfectly good site, but it just takes many hours till they open it

Techloq protected the whole family and excellent customer support t i have used filters before and techloq has come out the best and i will recommend techlog to others to join in the further

They provide fast unblocking and are excellent at blocking the sites which are inappropriate without blocking or breaking too many other sites.
It is also very useful to have a VPN based filter that can be used anywhere
But I still prefer netfree.

it slows down ur device and does not let any website u actually need and they ignore ur requests

Techloq offers decent customer service and effectively maintains safe internet browsing, but there are several challenges that impact its usability. The software can sometimes slow down your computer, block necessary applications, and inaccurately restrict access to websites. Additionally, their content filtering for mobile devices could be improved. While Techloq provides some positive features, like limited access to certain online categories, the presence of bugs and location-based issues means it's just an average option in the market.

They aren't bad, and have a responsive customer service team. Solving the issues in a timely manner, is a whole different story though. You can expect to be emailing them very often, and sometimes not even getting a helpful response for 2 days or so. It is pretty complicated and inconvenient to use. Still waiting for an android device content filter that just does it's job. The privacy aspect of it, is a whole other story as well. All in all; they're okay, which can be viewed as positive feedback for a product like this. That is, according to what else is available at the time of writing this review.

not bad, but to many issues for a good rating

the reason it only got two stars is because..

i live in israel, and for some reason the filter makes my computer think i am in England, that can be really annoying for many reasons.

Also, there are many bugs, for example, i do not always get a response when i request access to a blocked site.
it also randomly blocks me from connecting to WIFI networks.

i also feel like my computer slowed down a bit since i installed the filter.

Living in Israel as an American Gig-Online teacher is no problem, until one's Kehilla and the children's Bas Yaacov, Hadar and Yeshiva require all internet devices to be password protected with filters approved by The Rabbinic Godaluim. Their recommended filters and internet providers only speak Hebrew and offer no real services. Tried one of these companies filters and nearly all of my required work sites were blocked\crashed! Not So with Techloq that provides English support and approved guidance for the English speaking FRUM community world-wide; with great thanks for guiding me to them by the Israeli English speaking organization TAG (Technology Awareness Group). I recommend Techloq without hesitation. Their technical and customer support and guidance is unparalleled.
