Poor glue
I read all the reviews about failing glue...I purchased Sim Max rescues on Kijiji and upgraded the shaft on the 4H, while leaving the stock shaft in the 3H as I didn't put that club in my bag. Anyways, decided to play with it the other day and the glue must have came loose on the hosel, so my head now sits twisted. Contacted TM and, to no surprise, they refuse to do anything because I was not the initial purchaser - which I feel is bs as the warranty should protect the quality of the club regardless of the owner.
Other brands are far more accomodating. For instance, Cobra sent me a new driver shaft due to no fault of theirs.
Get better TM.
Failing glue on Irons
This year in May I was at the driving range in the evening, when hitting my 7 iron the head unexpectedly came off and I watched it travelling 100 yards down the driving range, I ended up staying 2.5 hours until the driving range closed, so that I could retrieve it.
Following this incident, I went back to American Golf to get the head refixed under warranty with Taylormade, and I was told that the turnaround was 2-3 weeks, so I handed my club over, knowing that missing one iron would not be too much of an issue. When I returned to the driving range, I found that this had caused me to be very wary when hitting my irons, worrying about the head coming off and, in all honesty, this affected me for some time.
Just as I was beginning to trust my clubs again, I was on the course using my pitching wedge, I took my shot and again watch my head traveling somewhere it shouldn’t, straight into a thorn bush!! Obviously, my frustration with the manufacture of the club was starting to grow.
The following day, prior to me being able to find time to go back to American Golf, I was practicing at the driving range and yet again head of the 7 iron was travelling down the range after coming loose, now I was beginning to become frustrated.
Today I went into American golf, to get the clubs repaired, but at this point I have lost all faith in the set of clubs, what was once my pride and joy, costing a lot of money, are nothing more than a hinderance to my game. Not in 25 years have I had any of these issues previously with any sets of clubs, which have included the most basis models you can get.
I was told that as this had happened to multiple clubs, it was wise to affect a full repair on the full set of irons, which I agree with. I asked what temporary set they would be furnishing me with. The answer came back that this was not American golf policy and that the clubs would be ready in approximately 4 weeks. Obviously, I am not happy with that. What am I to use for the game of golf I have booked this evening, what am I to use for the upcoming corporate events I have scheduled, what am I to use for my lesson on Thursday. I spoke to the manager, who has stated that they cannot give a temporary set out, whilst the repairs are being undertaken, as this isn’t company policy. I also had it explained that Taylormade seem to have a common fault with the type of glue they use, it’s not suitable for clubs being stored in certain locations where the temperature can vary, such as car boots and outhouses.

I have been trying to order merchandise from this website and it won’t let finish the order. I get stuck on one page.
Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Avoid! I purchased a custom fit set of Sim2 irons and the head fell off the 7 iron in Feb this year (known glueing issue with Taylormade irons). As they were still under warranty, I returned them to American Golf on 18 Feb 2023, who sent it back to Taylormade for the repair. It is now 16 June 2023 and I have still not received my repaired club. Taylormade’s customer service is the worst, they do not reply to emails nor call you back when promised. I will never buy Taylormade again, absolute garbage!
worst customer service…
Canada site-worst customer service ever. You fill out a "contact form"-did that twice and no one ever got back to me.
Called and was forwarded to Nick. Left a voicemail-never heard back.
First class company....not
I ordered a set of wood/putter covers…
I ordered a set of wood/putter covers only to have them lost in shipping but took me nearly 2 months and several emails to get a reply and ended up being stuffed over and had nothing but terrible customer service. They didn’t care at all either, lost a loyal customer
poor quality equipment backed up with really poor customer service
I bought a full set of Taylormade SIM2 clubs from American golf approximately 15 months ago, these are now out of warranty. I recently have had an issue with the driver where the head has cracked, I returned this to American golf and they in turn sent it back to Taylormade.
There is a noticeable ball mark on the top of the face of the club which they are stating is where I have repeatedly hit the ball and this has caused the fault, so because I haven't hit the ball dead centre, this is the reason for the heal of the club to have cracked. So unless you are a above average golfer who can guarantee to hit the ball dead centre, then I wouldn't buy Taylormade !!
In addition to this, I also has an issue where the head of my 7 iron was coming off and I've had to have it re-glued by a friend who's a PGA pro(he's the one who noticed it). Poor quality in my opinion.
Poor experience with my M4 and Taylormade
I had a similar experience with my M4 8-iron. The face broke and the plastic inserts are protruding. The golf pro at the shop told me the face is caving in and it's a common experience for the M2 - M4. I was out of warranty (club has been used for 3 years) and Taylormade would do nothing but offer a discount on a full set. I understand it's out of warranty, but shouldn't a club like that last longer than 3.5 years? Doesn't make me want to buy more of the brand.
Limited edition putter cover
Ordered a limited edition Spider putter cover, arrived the next day via DHL. Excellent quality product. Very happy with my purchase
Custom Black Juno putter poor build quality
Bought a customised Black Juno long neck putter. Played one round and some of the black colour has already come off on the putter head. Emailed Taylormade UK (Brandon B.) immediately as putter was only few days old. Was shocked to be told this was wear and tear!!! Extremely disappointed with such poor build quality from TM custom putter. Bewarned.
New Stealth Driver…
Bought an expensive new Stealth Driver in June and less than a month later the head came off whilst on the course. It was repaired under warranty, but the replacement shaft arrived with a grip that did not align as it should. Customer service promised to get back to me, but didn't. When I followed up myself, I was told the correct process hadn't been followed and to email in my issue! Very disappointed with the product quality and customer experience. Based on the number of poor eviews on this site, I am clearly not alone. TaylorMade should spend less on glossy marketing and more on improving product quality and customer satisfaction. i just wish I had visited Trustpilot before buying the club!
M2 club face split on impact
I was a big fan of Taylormade. I have M3, M2 (until broke) and P790s in the bag.
Admittedly the club was four years old but feels like no age for something you spend hundreds on.
I tried my luck down the warranty route and was offered a discount on my next purchase. A very kind offer but feels like I may end up in the same situation within a few years. Think it’s time to give competitors a chance.
Ordered a club on 31/3 from club pro
Ordered a club on 31/3 from club pro, still waiting, not good enough Taylormade! You are letting club pros down, will think twice before purchasing in the future.
Avoid at all costs bought a umbrella
Avoid at all costs bought a umbrella, graphite shaft snapped above the handle cost £85 hardly used it told by Taylor made customer service I abused the umbrella mistreated the item, umbrellas are throw away items just buy another one. This has stopped me buying taylormade products full stop. My advice is stay well clear.
Since ordering a new set of Taylor Made…
Since ordering a new set of Taylor Made Stealth clubs it has been a complete shambles. On first using the rescues the heads fell off after between 2/3 shots. great hilarity among my friends in the European Press Golf association. Having sent them back over 3 weeks ago they still cant seem to find any glue or replacements.
Zero communication Zero customer service and a product that is not fit for purpose
I bought a SIM2D custom driver last…
I bought a SIM2D custom driver last year, lomg delivery time due to Covid. Used for 1.5 months and where Taylormade has the cosmetic top strip come down on the face of the club it started to develop fine chips at the bottom of the cosmetic strip on the face of club. I put in a warranty claim with detailed photos and when asked sent the club head into the Warranty group in Toronto. Jason Dube said this was normal wear and tear, are you serious, this is a design problem. How would anyone expect a plastic strip on the face of a driver not to suffer damage from the impact of a golf ball. Toronto Customer Service seem to be trained to deny all warranty claims and their attitude does not reflect what one would expect from a large company. Ever notice that Taylormade does not offer the means to lodge a complaint about the Warranty group. I tried speaking with the head office in California, Franklin Cooley III. Very receptive but they have to go along with Toronto, don't want to upset anyone. Due to this experience and lack of customer service by Taylormade I will never purchase another item with their logo. I work at a golf course and every golfer will be told of my experience with Taylormade. I am also thinking of putting a sign on the first tee, saying do not buy Taylormade products.
What do you think it would have cost Taylormade to replace a Driver Head that was a little over a month old. I get better service from the local $ store.
Last purchase of Taylor Made clubs.
I bought a SIM2 Driver and the top part of the head has worked loose. Item is just over 12 months old. Terrible quality.
One of the worst companies to deal…
One of the worst companies to deal with. New set of Stealth Irons arrived 4 weeks after order only to discover that all the shafts were 25mm too short. Send it back and now 4 weeks later still no Irons. All enquiries has the same answer "we are picking your order today", same answer 4 weeks in a row. Please note that this is only a shaft change...a job usually done in 2 hours. Pick a different brand that is serious about customer service

I would give Taylormade customer service a no star they sent the wrong driver and said they would send the right driver but they just can’t seem to do it I’m sending it back with remorse for even trying to work with Taylormade customer service they are not a professional business.
