I regret using GolfNow. It is the same reason I don't like using thrid-party booking-companies for flights. If something goes wrong, and you need help or a cancellation, you get the third-party run-around. The rigid No Refund Policy. Once they get your money, they plan on keeping it. Next time, I will call the Pro Shop. I was just searching on the internet and got 'directed' to GolfNow. I am not tech-savvy so I fell for it. I legit thought I could cancel if I needed to. No FLexibility! The guy on the phone admitted that a lot of people call looking for refunds, and they hide behind their policy. It would be a more enjoyable customer experience if the refund policy was more flexible. I guess the bean counters behind the scenes have decided it is more profitbale to keep the money and deal with the frustrated customers, than it is to give good customer service.
Booked a tee time last week through Golf Now. Course phoned me on the morning to say temporary greens and only 15 holes. They were happy to refund me but said I had to go back through Golf Now. I tried to phone- number doesn’t work and emailed but no reply! So I’ve just asked my credit card company to do a charge back. And what is even worse is I got a reply here asking me to respond via live chat that doesn’t work either!

I booked a tee time through GolfNow for three friends and myself using a Hot Deal for 2:05 PM on April 11th. The advertised rate was $57 per person before fees. At checkout, the total displayed for four golfers, including fees, was $248. Based on that, I entered my payment information and completed the booking.
However, when I received the confirmation, I was shocked to see that I had actually been charged $462—reflecting the standard rate of $105 per person. I immediately attempted to cancel the reservation, only to later learn from customer service that all purchases are non-refundable.
I was then told that the lower price I saw was exclusive to GolfPass+ members. My issue is that the checkout process clearly showed the lower rate and total before I paid, yet I was charged a completely different amount after the transaction was completed. At no point was this discrepancy made clear prior to payment.
To make matters worse, customer service offered no resolution or accommodation. I was simply told there was nothing they could do. On top of that, the credit I now have can only be used for Hot Deals, limiting my ability to rebook a standard tee time.
Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience. I feel misled by the pricing shown during checkout, and the lack of support afterward only made things worse. I am now out $462 with very limited options to recover or use that money.

Tried to use a legitimate gift card to pay for my GolfPass+ renewal, but received errors when attempting to process it. The card was credited to my account. There was no real reason it could not be used. Got a hassle from the agent I spoke with on the phone. He made up reasons why it didn't work. He said it was because gift cards were not allowed for renewals (It was in the workflow). He questioned why the gift card was not for an even amount. He refused to allow me to escalate. Very poor customer service.
I see the the response from Gina at Golfnow. Where am I supposed to respond to you? It might be helpful to have that information. -Josh

Absolute joke of an app. Take your money when booking tee times, but if the club cancel due to bad weather you have send 500 emails and ring them a thousand times to get your money back. Then they only give it back as a credit on your account which expires in 6 months!! I want my money back!!!!

Your app showed I had cancelled Tee Time at Lost Keys (30° and cancelled 36 hrs prior) in Pensecola. Upon further inspection after playing there 1st and 2nd of January I see that it was not cancelled. First time cancelling using app and said 10 free to use. Upon intial cancellation it showed 9 remaining.
This was a hot deal so all money goes to GN and not the course. They said they would call course to confirm I didn't play but no one answered at course and no follow up. I think I need to put in a review with Visa for the refund as no credits as they said on last phone call a week ago.

Decided to cancel a t time at los amigos in Downey( dog track) but cheap and available . 2 days prior i decided to cancel due to the weather (100*+). I called the course and cancelled. they were very quick with me and said ok thanks and hung up.
1 week later i get charged $240. i spoke with the GM, Mike Shelton who told me i had to deal with GN. he said “ you bought a concert ticket , and you have to pay whether you use it or not”
i spoke to Vishnu in india at GN customer service who told me to call the course . i will never use GN again and will let as many people as i know about my experience. i have cancelled t times in the past and have never felt as screwed over as this . THANK g-d there are many other nicer more professional courses ( and GM’s) out there .

Golf Now didn't honor their cancellation policy.
I tried canceling my tee time prior to the 24-hour window. Golf now refused to return my money. Golf now blamed the course for not returning my money and the golf course blames Golf now. I shouldn't be punished for canceling mt tee time. Do better

I have used GolfNow for over 15 years, from the start GolfNow provided ease of booking rounds and the money savings from hot deals were fantastic. The points I earned in the early years allowed for almost free rounds of golf in destination places like Arizona and Tahoe. Economics factored into the end of those type of deals, and I returned to GolfPass, which at first allowed for points but also gave promotions like free golf balls along with Peacock streaming. I will remain a GolfPass member along with booking almost exclusively thru GolfNow for rounds, but the cost(s) have skyrocketed, (not GolfNow's fault), but in the end, the golf bookings will suffer and more closures of coursed will undoubtedly happen.

GolfNow charges a premium for its paid membership, but the benefits are so restrictive that they feel almost unusable. You sign up expecting meaningful value from the points, credits, and discounts, only to find out they apply in very limited situations, on a narrow set of tee times, and with so many exclusions that they rarely help when you actually want to book. It creates the impression that the membership is packed with perks, but once you try to use them, the fine print matters more than the benefit itself.
What makes it even more frustrating is that the points don’t seem to have a consistent value. Even when you do find a course that allows GolfPass points, and that already seems uncommon for the courses in my area, the value you get from those points can vary from course to course. That means the same points you earned don’t redeem at any kind of universal or predictable rate, which makes the program feel even less transparent and less useful. A rewards system should be simple and reliable, not something where the value changes depending on where you happen to book.
For a paid membership, this has been incredibly disappointing. You are paying extra for benefits that are advertised as a major advantage, but in practice they are difficult to use, inconsistently applied, and often unavailable when you actually need/want them. Instead of making booking easier and more affordable, the membership turns into an exercise in hunting for exceptions, loopholes, and limited eligibility. At that point, it stops feeling like a real perk and starts feeling like an upsell built around benefits that are technically offered but practically hard to use.

I use Golf Now up in Michigan and in Florida. We living in Florida traveling to Michigan to enjoy many courses up there. This is the easiest site to navagate and the cost is great as you get coupons to make up for the membership fee and discount at most courses. We use it all the time. Well worth the membership,

The course was closed! There should be better communication between GolfNow and the participating golf courses prior to showing available tee times. This should not happen. How do I get a refund?

I have always had exceptional service on the few times I've called to speak to an agent. Just today, I spoke with "Sema". I was discussing my renewal which has changed AGAIN (obviously not an employee's decision) and she was very understanding, transparent and PROFESSIONAL. She is not in a position to resolve my concerns but promised to call me back in a couple of hours. I think the issues here might surround management and the fact that what Golfnow/Golfpass "used" to represet and what they offer today has eroded in segmental stages - including a sizeable price increase this year! I'm on the cusp of cancelling Golfnow in place of a competitor. It's disappointing because I've been a member for a LOOOONG time. That said, if my dedication/investments (they've never had to wait for payment from me) are not appreciated, I have little choice but to move on. Finally, I have referred Golfnow to untold number of golfers from Arizona to Canada. Perhaps I might have to put that on hold until I hear back from Sema's supervisor?

You end up paying the same amount minus a dollar or two. And they sell your personal information to other companies. Garbage.

I just signed into my Golf Now account and found that I only had 3,849 points??? I knew that last time I looked I had 20,000+ points.
Where did they go?
So I looked for recent emails that I had received from Golf Now.
I received an email from Golf Now on Feb 4, 2026 asking me to renew my membership and encouraged me to use my points towards renewing my membership. This email stated that I had 27,040 points. I ended up not renewing my membership at that time.
I called in today to see where my points have gone and they told me they expired and that I'm not able to get them back. Once their gone their gone. All points expire after one year.
So I then asked if they send out email reminders to their members of expiring points and they said no we do not.
I then asked if they could reinstate my expired points and they said no.
I then asked them if they could reinstate them so that I can use these points towards renewing my membership and they said no.
I then asked how long I've been a member and they told me since 2017.
All I can say is that it's a very very poor way to treat a member who has had a membership with them for the last 9 years...

Golf now charged my card for a tee time, that I never got confirmation or a receipt for. Called customer service, who informed me, that although golf now was at fault, they would credit my account for 6 months. I demanded a full refund to my card. They refused. So they screw up and still keep my money. Never ever again. DO NOT USE GOLF-NOW

I canceled my reservation 22 hours prior to my tee time due to an emergency medical condition, and I did not get any credit or refund. I understand the policy requires 24 hrs' notice. However, 22 hours is plenty of time; the golf course was able to re-book my spot in no time, so why I did not get any credit or refund? what a joke
