Avoid if ordering internationally

I ordered on the 28th October and received shipment confirmation the next day. Since then tracking has been showing in New York for over 4 weeks. I contacted them on their website today (to be fair, very quick and friendly response) and was told my order had been lost, they cannot resend internationally (UK) and will issue a refund. I am really disappointed as this was on their kit offer that they only do once a year, and have been waiting for it. I will wait to receive my refund and will not be ordering from tarte again unfortunately.

All good!

I ordered from tartecosmetics.com without reading about it on trustpilot and i got a bit nervous after doing it later. But everything arrived to Italy even sooner then expected and packed perfectly. The shipment was also tracked and i received emails about the state of shipment. I will order again.

Have received my package to Denmark in an excellent condition, no damage or delay. I am very satisfied and will definitely order from Tarte again.

Awful, avoid at all costs!

I placed an order on the 29th of September and got the shipping confirmation a few days after. Great. Then I heard nothing for a month. So I contacted tarte and they said I had to wait until the 5th of November before anything can be done.
So I waited. I contacted them again on the 5th and they told me my items were lost in transit and that they would give a full refund. But they didn’t, they only gave a partial refund.
So i contacted them again. And they were adamant that they refunded the full amount and that I should contact paypal. Paypal then told me that tarte had not refunded the full amount and that I should open a dispute with them. I am still waiting on the rest of my money and a reply.
Avoid if you’re from the UK. They won’t give you what you ordered then keep your money anyway.

Happy with my order

There was an ad on Facebook from tarte saying 7 full size items for like 80 bucks i think which is a steal. I read some horrible reviews after I ordered but I got my order 10 days later in canada.. all the correct items and shades. Very happy

Put off from ordering again. Think before ordering

I ordered 3 value sets which included a full size concealer and 3 minis (primer, sponge and setting spray). After waiting a MONTH, it still didn’t arrive!! I contacted the email for the eshopworld who told me tarts had not dispatched and contacted them for me. Still no contact from Tarte cosmetics. Waited still, but still no contact or I was not informed about my parcel. I contacted payal who then escalated to a case and refunded the money but still no contact from tarte and no apology or explanation.

I then contacted them myself to ask what happened and they said the parcel was “lost”. But I explained I had been told it wasn’t dispatched in the first place but this was disregarded. They said they couldn’t send out a replacement as “it is no longer available”. I had to ask for some type of compensation and then they said 20%?! But this still did not equate to the value of the products which would have worked out so much more better.

I raised a complaint but nothing was really done. I was just told the same thing that nothing can be done. As a gesture or compensation, nothing was offered and I was told I have been “issued a refund”. But this is not good enough!!

I am very dissatisfied and was not expecting this from a big company like Tarte cosmetics but looking at the other reviews it seems I am not the only one. I feel put off to ever order from them again which is a big shame.

Package was lost or never shipped

I waited 3 weeks for my package to arrive, it never showed up. I contacted the carrier and they said that Tarte most likely never shipped it. I can't believe I wasted my time with this. I contacted Tarte and they will process my refund in 10-14 days. Nobody told me that it was lost, I had to contact them. So disappointed as I was really excited for my items. Never ordering directly from their site again! I will only order from Sephora or Ulta.

Took 3 weeks to arrive id rather order from Sephora also the lip product I ordered arrived broken tried to contact them on Instagram and email never got a reply so I’m not supporting this company again.

Pleasantly surprised.........

I made a big order taking advantage of the birthday promotion. I live in the U.K. and upon ordering didn’t realise I was buying from an American site as it was shown all in U.K. currency. I then read the terrible reviews. People weee complaining that they didn’t receive their stuff for weeks or at all, and some saying items were missing or damaged. I got very nervous. I am pleased to say I received my products ahead of schedule, and was updated of the progress of the package. My products were received in brilliant condition and well packaged. I am pleasantly surprised, so thought I would leave a review to reassure those waiting for their packages. They are gorgeous products.

Waited over a month for my order

Waited over a month for my order, tracking wouldn't update, waited the extra 15 days for corona delays and still nothing. Contacted them and all they could say was there's delays keep waiting, 2 weeks later still nothing so I contact them again and they tell me its lost and they won't offer replacements and instead I will get a refund in 2 weeks. Absolutely awful. No one contacted me to tell me it was lost I had to contact them twice instead.

this company is a joke !!

this company is a joke !!! they advertise that they are 50% but do not let the costumer make the purchase !!invent that the card data is wrong but every attempt to purchase blocks the value in my account one week ! if you don't to sell cheaper don't make misleading advertising !!!!

Actual joke of a company

Actual joke of a company! Ordered 4 items from them, the tracking information hadn’t been updated so I contacted them after two weeks asking them about my order to which they said international delivery to the UK can sometimes take up to 3 weeks. After waiting for almost 4 weeks I contacted them again just to be told that my items were lost in transit and they don’t issue replacements for international orders so I’ll just need to get a refund. Now I’ve been waiting for two weeks and the money still hasn’t been refunded to me. After contacting them to ask them what’s going on with the refund they got back to me to say apparently the refund wasn’t processed successfully by the system so I’ll need to wait another 2 weeks. This was the first and the last time I order from this site. I frequently get makeup and I’ve never ever had this problem with any other company. Wish I had read the reviews before placing my order, this is actually disgraceful! Was looking forward to trying out their products but I’m better off sticking to Mac.

Recently ordered from their website for…

Recently ordered from their website for the first time. It took them about 9 days to ship my items. Then I get a notification saying my item had been delivered. Get home, it’s not there. I contact customer service and they said this happens and to give it a day. So I did. Then reached out to them 3 times before the responded saying my address wasn’t sufficient so it got sent back. (How do you not correctly put my address on a label?) then inform me the foundation I ordered was now out of stock and could request another shade or get my money back. I suffer from their lack of attention.

such a shame their customer service is…

such a shame their customer service is so poor as their products are lovely, they ignore my emails, I understand covid is a problem buy seems they use it as an excuse for bad customer service, they took my money and ive not received my items, I hate leaving bad reviews but tarte have been a huge let down

They took my money and didn’t fulfil my order

I have had 4 orders delivered from Tarte in the last year or so and although they take around 16 days to be delivered to the UK the orders themselves have been fine. Recently I placed an order which amounted to £40 and when I didn’t receive a confirmation email I looked at the safari page which I had left open and the status had changed from order received to saying it couldn’t be fulfilled and to contact customer services. I used the online chat and spoke with Angie who gave me clearly bogus information. I have since tried the online chat and no one connects. I have also sent emails which have not been replied to. The money for this order has come out of my account and I can’t make contact with anyone who can refund me. I will now have to go through the card company to have the money refunded. There doesn’t appear to be a UK telephone number to reach them and being already £40 out of pocket I don’t feel like spending more money phoning USA.
I’m afraid I’m done with Tarte and wish I’d read reviews before I placed my first order.
The fact that there doesn’t appear to be any replies from Tarte to the many negative reviews on Trustpilot says all you need to know about this company.

I’d give ZERO stars

I’d give ZERO stars, if I could.

I read the reviews, I thought, gee, a handful of people that may have had unusual circumstances with problem orders... it can happen, right?

I wish I wouldn’t have chanced placing my order, and just bought what I wanted at Sephora instead. Here I am, sitting here weeks later with nothing. The COVID excuse now covers everything, though every other business has managed to figure out shipping perfectly fine in the last half a year. I watched as my tracking info sat and sat for days without leaving their office. I watched as it sat even longer without moving with their garbage shipper, EShopWorld. Nobody has any answers. A package that is coming from less than 6 hours drive from me has taken 2 weeks... if it even arrives at all. Inexcusable.

Their big bargain site sales are worthless when what you order doesn’t arrive. Garbage service, garbage company. NEVER AGAIN.

4 items missing, no response

I spent about $70 for 6 items. I received the box, and 4 of the items are missing. I emailed, no response. I chatted - no response. I spent an hour on hold on the phone, nothing. I left my number for a call back - nothing. I reported the missing items in a review of my items, no response. If I don't hear from them, I will move on to the Better Business Bureau. I will not buy from Tarte again.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY

So today I ordered some Tarte products because they were having a promo in which you paid 35 dollars for 4 products. When I was checking out and clicked the button tu submit my purchase the website showed a sign which said that I had to check my billing data or credit card info cause it was wrong. I double checked and, again, I clicked the button to finalize my purchase, however, the Tarte website kept showing that sign. I decided to check my Bank account and with surprise I found out that they had charged me twice!!!. I never got a confirmation order number and when I look up my Tarte account it says that I haven´t ordered anything yet. Awful experience... Now I am trying to contact the Tarte Team, but this situation is very disgusting for being my first purchase. Never buying again in this store!!

Appalling Customer Service

I have placed an order which arrived ok and I am satisfied by the products. However the sample i have chosen was missing. I emailed them just to let them know and maybe push them to investigate if someone was taking the samples or if people were forgetting to include them. I have gotten no reply. Nothing. Not even a short email to acknowledge that they have received my complain. I am not looking after a discount voucher or anything. I am not even planning on placing another order soon so it would be of no use to me. I just wanted someone from their customer service to reply and just say something like they will investigate. Not acknowledging your loyal customers is just not ok. Liking the product is not enough. I want to feel valued and tarte has completely failed to do that. I will not be buying their products anymore.

Wish I had read these reviews earlier

Wish I had read these reviews earlier. Do not order from them. How are so many orders getting lost in transit??? As a big company it’s actually disgusting. I waited over a month being told again and again it was coming only for them to say it was lost in transit and my refund will take two weeks. I guarantee my refund won’t even come through these people are frauds do not buy from here.
