Scam! product not as described - non-existent return process
0 stars! This company is a scam! The purchasing process works until they get the payment, but when a problem occurs all they do is delay and deflect. We, customers, cannot even initiate a return process without their help!!! and they dont help - at all. The product is damaged and the return process doesnt excists.

Swappie's own photo shows no damage. They reduced my price anyway.
I sold an iPhone to Swappie in August. It had been kept under a screen protector from the day of purchase, removed immediately before shipping, and I photographed it at that moment. The screen was unmarked and the earpiece was clean.
27 August. I receive an inspection report with a reduced price. It contains three photos: one showing screen damage on a Natural Titanium iPhone, one taken with the screen on showing my device's serial number, and one of the back of my phone. My device is Blue Titanium. I raise the mismatch the same day.
28 August. I send my pre-shipping photos on request. Support confirms the case has gone to the relevant team.
1 September. The team asks for up to a week to check whether the phone in the report is mine.
8 September. The week is up. I receive three different photos: the back of a blue phone, and two partial views of a screen with scratches, taken with the screen off, where the colour is not distinguishable and no IMEI or serial number is visible. The earpiece in these photos has visible dirt. Mine did not.
9 September, morning. I'm told the team will be asked to provide photos showing the IMEI.
9 September, hours later. A different agent tells me photos showing the damage together with the IMEI cannot be provided at all, and that no further documentation is available.
Two things stand out.
First, the 27 August report contains Swappie's own photo of my device, identified by serial number, and it shows no trace of the damage now reported. I have raised this several times. It has never been addressed.
Second, Swappie states publicly that diagnostic photos are of the customer's specific device, that photos showing the IMEI can be provided on request so the customer can verify this, and that the request must be made before an offer is accepted or the phone is returned. That is exactly what I did, and I was told it was impossible.
I have also asked several times whether the sale is on hold while this is investigated. I have never received an answer, while the automated emails asking me to accept the price or take the phone back have continued to arrive.
I'm not willing to take the device back either. Photographs of a scratched screen that Swappie cannot connect to my IMEI are now on file, while the only identified photo of my phone shows no such damage. I have no way of knowing what condition it would come back in.
As of today, 10 September, the case is still open. Swappie says the matter is with a responsible team; I've had no indication of when to expect an answer.
If you sell to Swappie, photograph the device thoroughly before shipping, including the IMEI in the frame. I did most of that and it still wasn't enough.
The amount in dispute is €28. Nobody spends two weeks arguing over €28 unless they know they're right.
Update, 11 September
Swappie provided a video on 11 September showing my device's serial number together with screen damage. That video was produced only after this review was published, having been described a day earlier as impossible to provide.
My own pre-shipping photographs, which show no damage, were never commented on. None of my direct questions were answered directly. The answer to all of them was lighting.
What was never explained: why the first report contained a photograph with a different colour rendering and with visible dirt between the frame and the screen, and why the damage appears in a different area of the screen in the 27 August report, the 8 September photographs and the 11 September video. Lighting affects whether a scratch is visible. It doesn't move it, and it doesn't add dirt.
Trustpilot doesn't allow photo attachments here. If it did, anyone could see for themselves how little these records resemble each other, or my own photographs.
The condition of the device on 27 August, when Swappie received it, was never established. The only identified record of damage was made on 11 September, two and a half weeks later.
I've accepted the reduced offer. Not because the assessment was shown to be correct, but because a seller has no way to verify what condition their device was in when it reached the warehouse, and every discrepancy is explained by lighting. That argument can't be tested and can't be answered.
My mistake was not reading reviews before shipping. If you're considering selling here, read them first, and photograph everything, including the IMEI in frame.

Great Experience. Easy to use website. Product arrived before time and works perfectly. I cannot faut their service.
Bad quality phone
Very unimpressed by the quality of my used phone. It's battery is very bad - can just about last a day and I don't download, stream, or listen to music on it. I just check social media once in a while. And text a bit. I have to tap really, really hard for the screen to come alive.

Very quick and easy
I’ve ordered phones from Swappie…
I’ve ordered phones from Swappie several times. Delivery was always fine, no complaints there. But the phones themselves? Every single one had some kind of problem.
One phone stopped turning on and off properly. They replaced it, which was fair enough. But the replacement has another problem — the screen keeps randomly cutting out. And this was supposed to be the phone in the best condition they offer.
It happens regularly, so honestly, I have no idea how this phone passed their checks. It feels like I paid extra for a “refurbished” phone and ended up with something that is basically unreliable.
At this point I could have just bought a used phone for less money and probably had the same experience. But hey, at least I’m “saving the planet” by buying refurbished, right?
Really disappointed. I gave Swappie several chances and it was the same story every time.
Never again.

Easy to use from start to finish
Easy to use from start to finish. Price I was offered was the price I received after inspection.
My phone was stolen from the parcel
My phone was stolen from the parcel, that was left opened on my door step. Swappie has left it up to me to deal with the courier. Swappie has a whatsapp chat that resets after 24 hours. So you think you get some help but they do absolutely nothing, Meanwhile you lost your money and still have no phone. My experience is from Denmark - turns out that Swappies courier has outsourced to Postdanmark in Denmark.

A smooth and honest service
Everything went smoothly with Swappie. The phone was checked and the final price was exactly the same as the original offer. No surprises or unnecessary hassle. Very happy with the service.
Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience – delivery failed and refund still pending
Unfortunately, my experience with Swappie has been extremely disappointing.
I ordered a phone which was supposed to be delivered to Luxembourg. The shipment became stuck with DHL in Germany and remained there for more than a week without being delivered. Despite contacting Swappie several times and asking them to resolve the issue with DHL, the situation was not solved within a reasonable timeframe.
As we urgently needed the phone, we eventually had no choice but to buy another one elsewhere and cancel the Swappie order.
What is particularly frustrating is the amount of time and effort I had to spend following up on a delivery problem that should have been handled between Swappie and their chosen shipping provider. As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly chase both the seller and the carrier to find out what is happening with an order that has already been paid for.
I have now requested an immediate refund and expect the full purchase price to be returned without further delay.
Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Swappie. A good customer experience is not only about selling a phone – it is also about taking responsibility when something goes wrong with the delivery and resolving the problem quickly.
