The delivery and installation review
The delivery and installation went well. I ordered to rent the bike on 4 Sep and the earliest delivery schedule is 13 Sep which is for me, it is too long.
They didn’t actually offer us additional stolen bike insurance at delivery. When I ordered the rental subscription for the bike, I was at the Swapfiets store and I asked about how to add insurance to my package and she said I could only do it when I got the bike delivered. Now I read the “get help”about how to add insurance, and it said it could be done in the store. That said, I don’t think your staffs are helpful at all.

I like the idea of renting a bike that celebrates cycling pleasure. It's a shame that the bikes do not focus on the usual quality and high maintenance of a typical Dutch bike.

Great support from the Italian guy working in Waterloo, he was really helpful. I just joined Swapfiets in London, however I met someone who’s been using the service for 4 years in the Netherlands and they were quite enthusiastic about the service they provide.

Why own a bike in london, it'll get stolen anyway
As someone who's had 3 (THREE) bikes stolen while living in London over the course of three years (honestly wtf is wrong with this city), swapfiets has been such a welcome relief.
The bikes are great, sturdy, and whilst you won't be darting through traffic on one, that's probably for the best.
The basket has been so handy for just moving things about and not getting a sweaty back on the way to work.
Puncture? Damage? Stolen? Book an appointment and you get a NEW BIKE within a few days. The man that came out to my office after a puncture was also just lovely conversation)
The locks are solid, thiefs seem to ignore these bikes since they're built with beSpoke (hehe) parts.
I've been using the seven gear, and had zero issues with it. The generator lights mean no charging of amazon trash bike lights.
Big fan.

Friendly staff and quick service, I was out again within 5 mins. I find it quite a hassle to have to download an app just to make an appointment maybe once a year but I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful and efficient.
