This is becoming a pain in the ass

Guys we have an update don't you worry it's me! Just in case you missed me the owner, well can I consider myself the owner of the cb125r I mean it's a ghost bike now. It was supposedly back at Macclesfield today but took a lil field trip to donington a whole 61 miles away from Macclesfield so a lil confused as to how that happened. I asked why and it was like a computer breaking "errrrrrrrrrrrr um er" so there's that got told we should have it on our drive in two weeks I think not, sorry I meant I politely decline that offer and are giving till this Saturday as that's three weeks since purchase and it's ridiculous. We've received no proof of recall work on it so it's either that or they can shove it where it don't shine I mean its England so anywhere and we're still yet to get a phone call from lil James I decided it is a fitting nickname too scared to speak to us or the managers even though we're at Macclesfield which is the headquarters location so this is just ridiculous no communication no reasoning no proof or professionalism in this "sale" all we get is told "we'll give a call back" honestly guys you're funny I'll give you that such lil jokers I keep falling for it I gotta learn by now it means naff all

Delivery and appraisal driver

Delivery and appraisal driver, Jordan was a top bloke, thorough and fair assessing my trade in, easy to talk to and bang on time, everything was quick and simple from the office, being able to check on the new bike during its pre delivery prep was a nice touch … definitely will use them again in the future

Excellent customer service

I walked into your Bristol shop to just have a look. Spoke to Hugh who was really helpful showing me the Tenere's that were in stock & answering my questions on them. Seeing there was one in Milton Keynes within my budget he made the purchase simple and easy. Delivery arranged with service done, all making the process easy.
I then rang up with a query and spoke to Bradley who again was very helpful. Really pleased with the bike, great value.

AVOID

AVOID - Terrible customer service! Son-in-law bought a bike from the Bradford branch. On 28th May had to pay full amount for delivery to be arranged. No bike! No refund, despite requesting it, and ZERO customer service. Emails unanswered and when he calls the manager he is always busy and never returns the phone calls, despite a promise he will!

Take a minute to read

A sales agreement, started in good faith at the Macclesfield branch, has left me feeling infuriated and with no confidence in your company.

I ordered a Triumph Trident 660 on the 30th April 2026 and paid £299. This was a deposit plus the cost of the A2 limiter which I knew would be done at Triumph. I was quoted three weeks for this.

With this in mind, I arranged and began to pay insurance to proceed from week 4 to allow a one week grace period.

I rang after 3 weeks and was told there was a delay and it would probably be ready on week 4. I rang after 4 weeks and was told in spite of the previous conversation it was still at the Triumph workshop.

I was told that it would be chased and I would be kept updated, even if there was no progress so I was kept in the loop. Again I was let down and I was not updated with any calls or emails.

At week 5, on Wednesday 3rd June, I rang and spoke to the salesman that originally sold me the bike, Dylan Mcmullen, at Macclesfield. He agreed that the delay was unacceptable and promised to find out what was happening and call me back in 30 minutes. I am disappointed to say he did not call me back.

My frustration was so great, I spoke with a work colleague and because of her greater customer service experience she rang on my behalf on Friday 5th June to see what was happening.

My colleague rang your company 4 times, each time speaking to someone new. Her call was answered after a minimum 30 minute delay, she explained the situation and what had so far been said and was put on hold. After a while of being on hold, the call was cut off. This happened twice wasting over an hour of our time. My colleague rang a third time and spoke to Joshua at Castle Donnington. Once again she explained the situation and he told her that he would call back at 2pm. No call came.

Finally, she rang again and waited for the call to be answered. This time speaking to Thomas Kemp. He asked for us to send an email to which we did. He did not reply. At this point we had spent over 3 hours trying to get a basic level of customer support from your organization and you failed even to respond beyond a simple phone call or email.

Having lost all confidence in SBF customer phone service, I drove to the Macclesfield branch (an hour from my house) to get some idea of when I could expect the bike, this was June 8th. I spoke to Alex Hulme who spoke to management and agreed to refund me for the restrictor kit (£199).

Alex assured me the bike would be ready on Wednesday 10th or Thursday 11th and that he would most definitely be in touch. Incredibly Alex did not contact me. I drove in again on Thursday 11th June to collect the bike trusting Alex’s word that the bike would be ready. The bike was not ready.

I spoke to sales manager Andrew Hellyer, who told me the bike would be ready for collection Sunday 14th June.

So finally, on the Sunday I drove to SBF to collect.

I paid the full amount of £4591 and £68.75 road tax. I drove the bike away feeling relieved it was over.

I drove around for about 40 minutes to get used to the bike before heading home. After 20 minutes the bike became erratic and dangerous, delivering unpredictable power bursts past around 3k rpm. This became worse and after 40 minutes it was un-rideable. I parked, but now after starting it, the engine would stall after just a few seconds.

As I’m sure you can understand at this point I was beyond frustrated and had to leave the bike on the side of the road whilst I drove back to SBF in my partners car to hand back the keys and ask for a full refund.

In summary

-To date I have wasted £74.78 on insurance, I am awaiting an update on the cancellation fees/refund.
-15 plus hours wasted on the phone/ on hold to your company.
-4 plus hours at your premises and with the faulty bike
-A cancelled trip with friends
-8 plus total hours wasted driving to and from SBF.
All of the above despite your hugely publicized “120 quality checks” on a bike which doesn’t even run for longer than 40 minutes.

In spite of the countless conversations with your sales teams and this appalling experience, as of today (Monday 15th June) I have had no contact with apologies or any attempts to alleviate my distress with your organization.
I would not recommend this company.

I purchased a Ducati from this dealer

I purchased a Ducati from this dealer, but unfortunately the experience has been very disappointing.

The bike was delivered, and although I didn’t ride it for the first two days, when I went to start it the battery was completely dead. I managed to resolve that myself with a trickle charger and rode it the following day.

However, after only two weeks of ownership, while riding to work, the gear selector fell off because a retaining bolt had come out. This left me unable to change gears, which was extremely dangerous. After inspecting the bike further, I also found a missing bolt from one of the fairings and discovered that the grips were loose as well.

The dealer has now had the bike back for three weeks. I requested to return the bike within the first 30 days due to these issues, but I have received no response whatsoever. I’ve made numerous attempts to contact them by phone and email, and nobody has responded.

This is the second bike I’ve purchased from them, but based on this experience it will definitely be my last.

The process has been easy from start to finish. Jordan, who came to collect my bike was a great guy who was very knowledgeable and extremely thorough with his checks and rightly so because if I’m to purchase a bike from them I know it’s been checked over correctly.
I wouldn’t have any issues selling to them again or buying from superbike factory for that matter.
Thank you for a pleasant experience.

delivering and pick up was awesome

The guy delivering and picking up was awesome. Great experience. But if I may say just one thing that would make it exceptional for everyone is your communication. It's certainly lacking and I had to call you three times to get an update. No such calls to me were made except for when you wanted money. Apart from that it's been good.

Damaged bike, invalid V5C, no resolution

SuperBike Factory damaged my bike, invalidated my V5C, and ignored the issues.

I’ve had multiple problems after buying from SuperBike Factory, and I want to share my experience.

The bike arrived dirty, not cleaned as promised.

I paid for an Annual Routine Service, but the service book wasn’t stamped and there was no paperwork.

Shortly after the first ride, the rear brakes were squealing and the coolant was low - despite a supposed 120-point check, MOT, and service.

Arranging a fix was difficult. I was told I would be contacted, but nothing happened for days. I even received a suspicious collection message from a driver, which SuperBike Factory initially said was a scam, before later confirming it was real.

While the bike was unused, the battery went completely flat after about a week. I asked for a replacement, but nothing was done.

When the bike was returned, it had new scratches on the tank and wheel rim. Worse, my V5C was returned damaged and invalidated, with my details crossed out and pages torn.

Since then, my messages and emails requesting a resolution and refund have been ignored.

Still unresolved.

Read this to save yourself hassle this…

Read this to save yourself hassle this is a recent experience! Do not buy a bike from here, avoid at all costs. Bought a ktm 1290r from here apparently they do a 72point check.
Had to remove 120mm oil from bike before I even started it, bike was mot on 22nd of april sold to me on 27th april delivered on the 7th may 17.00pm i sent an email at 20.01pm still havent had one bit of communication with them, with a further 3 emails being sent, bike cut out after idling for 6mins, insured bike which cost £251 paid in full, went out road test the bike, bike was in limp mode fault codes on dash, and upon downshifting for a corner on way home when pulling clutch in bike would cut out making you have no engine breaking for or drive out corner, having to coast round corner which is damn right dangerous.
Took to a ktm dealer who confirmed in writing that the bike isnt safe to ride, also it isnt a straight forward fix seems this bike has been traded in in this condition, and to top it all off they cant communicate 15x 20 min fone calls to get through to anyone and even then i was left unsatisfied. This Left me no choice but to go consumer right route in rejecting bike via finance, and then to top it off on the 9th of June to try stall things further I received an email from dvla that they had made an application to transfer bike into my name then when its been rejected for weeks and probably should have been done when I bought bike.
Bike still hasnt been collected seems they arent communicating with the finance now either i have the emails as im copied in. Full of false promises by idiots.
Save yourself the hassle go to a more reputable seller as the hassle if things arent correct isnt worth the hassle it has left me bikeless for near 2 months
This bike was a 4000miles bike and seems they dont check nothing this has left me out of pocket and again bikeless I wouldnt even rate the experience 1 star they shouldn't be selling bikes this bike is/was an accident waiting to happen

They can't be bothered

Having seen a few bikes in their stock that I am very interested in, choice of 6 at present, I used the link on their website to request my bike be valued for part exchange. I gave plenty of honest detail via the online form, then received an email acknowledgement asking me to click 'complete assessment' link to get a more accurate valuation, but this simply took me back to the same online form which I did again.

Having spoken to staff in our nearest store when looking at some bikes I was interested in, I had the impression of a very professional outfit, so had expected a swift response. But as I didn't get anything further after completing the 'extra' assessment link, I sent an email to valuations anyway.
5 days later, still no reply, so I emailed a different address, this time sales, advising I was interested in a number of their bikes and would like a part-exchange valuation.

Absolutely nothing in response, which is very frustrating, and also gives the impression that they are not very professional or trustworthy after all.
My view is that the in-store staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable, but the company lets itself down by it's lack of comms to online queries, even though this is where the in-store staff directed me to go next as part of my bike-purchase journey.

Looks like I will be going somewhere else to purchase after all.

don't trust the online quote

Be Wary :Got a quote from these guys for my 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 which i was happy with.
Tried to book appointment online to arrange inspection(within the 7 day guarantee quote period.)
Could not book a slot online and they messaged to say the request would go to the transport team who would contact me.
Called me later and offered me £600 pounds less than the online quote without even seeing the bike.(which is in showroom condition.)Their reason was market conditions had changed and demand had changed.
suffice to say they will not be getting the bike...
