USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Shocking service and even worse communication. Our driver left the airport without collecting us on arrival in Palma. Yes, we arrived late to the taxi due to issues with the carousel, but I communicated this to the driver by WhatsApp message within 7 minutes of him confirming arrival to collect us, and again 7 minutes later followed by 2 phone calls. All these messages went unanswered by the driver. Then had an unhelpful conversation with a lady in the Sun Transfers office who said we were a "no show" and the driver wouldn’t come back for us. Neither would she send us a new taxi or pay for the local taxi we then had to use. Note that a local taxi from the airport cost us less than 20euro (each way) a total of 40 euro. Sun transfer fee was over 110 euros, clearly daylight robbery. Due to their utter uselessness, I cancelled the return taxi to the airport 5 days later, had an email stating they acknowledged the cancellation, BUT still the driver turned up at out hotel and i had no less than 6 calls asking where are where! I have asked them to refund the outrageous fees they have charged, but I have no doubt they will ignore that as well. USE THIS COMPANY AT PALMA AIRPORT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Expensive transfer due to lost luggage

Prior to yesterday (5/31/2026) I’ve always enjoyed Suntransfers. I’ve used them for many transfers on European vacations. Yesterday our luggage did not arrive with us in Lisbon. I sent a message through What’s App to the 3rd party travel organizer (Curiosity Transfers) we were delayed. While we were waiting in line to file a lost luggage report, I received a message that we were beyond the customary 1 hour wait time and our ride was cancelled. We could continue for an additional price. I agreed. The price quoted was more expensive than the original price I paid. I might not be so upset about this if a particular driver was waiting for us. This is not how transfers work in Lisbon. We had flown into Lisbon 10 days prior and also used Suntransfers/Curiosity Travel. In Lisbon, there are many transfers arranged by this combination of companies. 10 days prior, I arrived at the meeting location for my transfer, and we had to wait for the organizer to return (7-10 minutes). She returned, made some communications, and sent us to meet a driver within another 10 minutes. They had many passengers arriving during the day, and drivers kept coming. I didn’t have an issue with all of this, until there was no grace and an expensive extra charge for us being about 15 minutes late (due to lost luggage) and knowing there wasn’t a specific driver waiting for us that wasn’t earning money during that time. That would be a completely different situation. I agreed to the cancellation and called Uber for a fraction of the price. The Uber experience was wonderful! I’m really disappointed with Suntransfers.

Been using ST for years

Everything was on time that's way I give 5 🌟 but the driver from airport to hotel all he wanted was tips and asked why we were not tipping him the lady that drought use back was so nice and very good at her jod and got a tip without asking
