Initially joining the company things were not the best, communication wasn't great, I was chasing people a lot of the time and it became very stressful. Upon raising my concerns I was assigned an operations manager called Salome who was extremely efficient and very helpful. Within a matter of days she turned the entire experience around. Although I genuinely believe there is room for improvement during the process with SME as a lot of the issues can be resolved by communicating efficiently, im glad it was sorted and my course has now commenced.

Applying and moving abroad is a scary process full of uncertainty and stress. However, the ease I found with SME was so comforting. My advisor was Fani Giakoumelou who was helping me transfer from Ukraine and she took every issue I had and made it her own. She is such a lovely person who tells you each detail and does not leave you wondering or confused. When moving abroad you need all the support you need and SME provides every support. As a transfer student my family and I were very worried but she ensured that everything was done and supported me mentally as well. It’s not just about getting the job done, but it’s also about getting settled in a new country with a good support system, SME provides just that.
