I haven't heard of this company before…
I haven't heard of this company before nor I tried their software yet. One web developer has recommended strikingly to me for building a website without knowing how to code. I will try this service.
They are fraud company
They are fraud company. They charged yearly subscription because their cancellation button don't work but you have to go to chat after pressing the button. And if you don't see that they charge yearly subscription and don't want to refund.
This site hosts malicious spammers.
Continuous spam emails from their team...
You can opt out and report them as spam all you want, but they will still tell you that other companies, including us, benefit from them. I asked to be removed from their mailing list, but they disregard my request since they believe they can continue contacting me in some capacity.
Cancelled my website with Happiness…
Cancelled my website with Happiness officer. Asked her to cancel also my domain as it is their own, asked to cancel my email address too. She confirmed all is done. Today I was charged for domain, won’t get a refund. They intend to continue the money for domain although I closed down account last month.
Apparently it is not their domain, but has been for the last 4 years. Officer today was not willing to help. He claims he can’t access my account.
Stay away from this company if you can.
I will be in your inbox until you say “Yes”
Spam emails which the latest one said "But I will be in your inbox until you say “Yes” to joining our affiliate program." with no unsubscribe. Endless.
Non stop spam emails that are automated
Non stop spam emails that are automated. Even on their website chat, it is an automated spam bot I am talking to.
There doesn't seem to be a way to stop them from emailing me! I just get an automated response pushing for me to sign up!
Very bad developer team
Very bad developer team, they can't solve small problem for me
"only need to change password"😡
They only say try another browser or try another device, since more than hours they can't solve my problem nonsense 😡
At the same time they keep taking about their offers ,
They only care about it
And when we talk about serious problem they can't help
Very bad experience 😡
I've paid to get some help building a website
I've paid to get some help building a website and I've gained no traction in over a week. There's no phone calls and they email you every few days with a response. I've emailed them twice with the same requests and no answer. Do not use their website building services there is no accountability or communication.
Spam as a service keeps sending emails despite opt out
Despite opting out and reporting as spam they reply that other businesses like us make money with them. I already told them to eliminate me from the mailing list but they don’t act accordingly, they think that is acceptable to keep writing despite the opt out. It’s the most annoying kind of spam.
strikingly.com
were bed site i promote some web site and block me i explain i use maxbounty ads nd you not can do that bag site
Strikingly Good At Non-Stop Spamming
Since August 30th, we have been continuously bombarded with cold emails from Allen Flores-Beltran, Director of Partnership at Strikingly.
Despite several requests to stop sending the same copy/paste email, which implies we'll be rich if we join their sleazy affiliate program, they've continued to do so.
These are all duplicate, automated emails and shares how much they've paid a single affiliate - it's sleazy.
They even replies with automated emails when asked to stop sending them. I would never do business with a company that behaves like that.
Prolific spammers
Since August 16th, we have been continuously bombarded with cold emails from Allen Flores-Beltran, Director of Partnership at Strikingly. Despite several requests to stop sending the same copy/paste email, which implies we'll be rich if we join their sleazy affiliate program, he's continued to do so and has now sent over 80 of them. These are all the same, automated emails. He even replies with automated emails when asked to stop sending them. I would never do business with a company that behaves like that.
Worst online website EVER
Worst online website EVER! Stole my money! Took money for a domain I cancelled and just said sorry they cannot give refunds!!!!
Worst Customer Service and terrible features
They charged me for an email for a year and I asked for it not to be auto renewed. They asked me to delete the email and won't refund me. So I went ahead and did that.
Then I decided that I actually paid for a whole year I might as well use their emails, guess what, thier happiness office is asking me to pay again for a new annual subcription!
Their web design features are absolutely terrible - very unhappy to say the least
Stay far away
Stay far away. They keep charging me for a plan I cancelled and called me a liar when they recharged me. I will be contacting my bank for a refund
Look somewhere else
For anyone wanting to use Strikingly as a website- I STRONGLY encourage you to use another provider. You can not cancel a renewal. Your only options are to completely forfeit your PAID FOR services. Or cancel a day before and run the risk of forgetting to cancel it. As an added bonus - there is a no refund policy.
I’ve been trying to get this fixed since 10 this morning and STILL HAVE GOTTEN NOWHERE. I asked them to take off my credit card information and they told me they’d be glad to do so- but I will loose my website. How is this not fraudulent?! I’m so incredibly mad right now.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I paid for a year but set it back to free so it didn't auto-renew after a year. They cancelled the whole plan! There are 11 months left on the plan and they won't refund the money and won't give me the pro features either!!!
DO NOT USE THEM.
Did not allow to use remainder of subscription after cancellation
I have been using Strikingly for several years. Recently I decided to cancel the account.
After cancelling the service was terminated immediately even though I still had 24 days left in the 1 month subscription, for which I have paid.
During the cancellation process on the website it was not clearly mentioned that the service will be stopped not at the end of the subscription period but immediately after the cancellation. That means that if you want to cancel Strikingly and still use the 1 month subscription, for which you have paid, you have to remember to cancel your subscription on the very last day. If you forget to do so, your subscription will be automatically renewed for 1 more month. I am sure this is convenient for Strikingly but definitely not convenient for their customers. When using other subscription services (Amazon, Spotify, etc) usually after cancellation you can still use the service until the end of the subscription period.
I complained to customer service but they did not want to extend my subscription for the remaining 24 days for which I have paid and told me that I have to pay for a new subscription if I want to use the service.
There are other similar solutions on the market with better features than Strikingly for the same price and without the tricky customer policies which are unfavourable for the customer.
Strikingly is not competitive compared to alternatives.
UPDATE:
After sending customer service my reviews for Strikingly they finally granted me with free 1 month subscription to compensate for the 24 days that I was not able to use. Still I spend quite a lot of time messaging with customer services and they did not want to grant my request or considered it fair before sending them the reviews. For that I updated the review from 1 start to 2 stars.
Looked good at the first time but...
Looked good at the first time but i hate it when you need to upgrade to a premium plan to add more pages! Fix this!
