The store experience was incredible, I tried a couple different colours and was impressed by the gift-wraping.

I wouldn’t agree with the glowing reviews many bloggers are currently posting about Strathberry. I ordered the Crescent Moon bag and, unfortunately, the design feels like it wasn’t created with the user in mind.

To start with, there isn’t a single interior pocket. Even fast fashion brands manage to include at least a small compartment for cards or essentials—this feels like a basic oversight.

More importantly, the bag is extremely impractical to use. It’s almost impossible to zip it closed while wearing it. The zip is too soft, and the weight of the leather pushes the sides together, meaning you need both hands—and ideally a flat surface—to close it. In real-life situations like commuting, this is inconvenient at best and at worst makes you more vulnerable to pickpocketing. Ironically, once you do manage to zip it, it’s quite difficult to open, so security only comes after a struggle.

The straps are another weak point. The long strap is excessively long, causing the bag to sit too low on the hip—both impractical and not particularly flattering. The short strap, on the other hand, is too short to function as a comfortable shoulder bag. There’s no middle ground, which limits how you can actually wear it.

To give credit where it’s due, the craftsmanship is excellent—the leather, metal hardware, and stitching are all beautiful. But aesthetics alone don’t make a good bag. Functionality matters just as much, and in this case, it’s where the design falls short.

this was my first time in London and first time at a Strathberry store. i ordered a bag online a few years ago and was so excited to shop in person. i left with not one, but two new bags!

I honestly was afraid to order from overseas, but the shipping was faster than most items I’ve ordered in the US. The bag is beautiful and EXACTLY as pictured. The leather is soft, yet sturdy and the stitching on this bag is perfection. I’ve received numerous compliments and it’s nice to wear something uniquely different than the stays quo.

A very nice bag, perfect size and beautifully crafted leather. A piece that truly speaks for itself. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

WOW. I'm impressed by the leather quality and craftsmanship of my Strathberry Stylist and Melville Street Wallet. I typically use a much larger wallet and I love the amount of space which keeps things organized in this design. The Stylist is beautiful and fit exactly what I needed for a semi-formal event. Fast shipping as well. I will be a repeat customer.

Ive been keeping an eye on a Strathberry purse for over a year, waiting for there to be a sale. Well it finally happened and I added the purse to my cart but I was not sure about the taxes, duties, and shipping, how much more expensive it would make the total. But after seeing it in the cart for the same price as on the site, I googled if there was taxes or duties and it said no its all included in the price you see. The shipping was also incredibly fast, and shipped fron the UK to canada and to my door in less than 5 days.

I’ve been eyeing two bags for many many months at Strathberry. I love the design and quality of the bags, so modern yet so refined! I got a Mini Tote through their website. It arrived so fast, the unpacking experience was very satisfying and the bag is just beautiful. Now I am planning to purchase the other one I have been eyeing in-store, for the whole experience.

I ordered the kite maxi. I live in Canada so this was an overseas order. There was an issue with the bag, Strathberry removed the matter almost immediately, I'm impressed given my previous consistent bad luck in overseas shopping. I have since deleted my original review, and rewritten it. They have a new customer for life.
