Sent my phone to Stopoint, delivered March 16 (tracking confirmed).
Provided payoff receipt as requested.
It has now been over 2 weeks with no payment and no response from support.
I’ve attempted to contact them multiple times with no reply.

At this point I am requesting either payment or return of my device immediately.

Will update this review based on how this is resolved.

YOU FOUND THEM

I could not be more grateful to this company. The whole process was super easy and straightforward, which I loved. If your wanting to sell some of your old phones, or anything in the technology department and your looking for the highest and fastest payout, then you found them. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who kept me in the loop about everything and was patient with me emailing so much and also to the whole team, I appreciate it.

Left out to dry with no contact

I placed an order with this company on February 25th, and by March 4th, a decision had already been made not to purchase my iPhone. Since then, it is now March 17th, and I have sent three separate emails requesting updates — all of which have been completely ignored.

There has been zero communication, no clarity on what is happening with my device, and no tracking information provided. I have also received no confirmation about when or how my iPhone will be returned to me, or who is responsible for the shipment.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The lack of responsiveness and accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with customers' personal property. I will absolutely be sharing this experience online to warn others about the poor service and lack of professionalism from this company.

If i could leave 0 stars i would, I've done business with so many other phone buying company's this is by far the worst one in the last decade. DONT consider anything from them.

I had a great experience selling my old phone. Communication was clear and payment was fast. I liked that everything was done professionally and honestly. If you’re thinking about selling your old phone, this is a safe and easy option.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They purposefully wait days in between communications to delay your payment. There is no customer service phone number. The “Contact Us” link on their website is inactive. I still haven’t received my payment after they already reduced the original amount. TERRIBLE.

Anything but fast and easy - zero customer service.

Worst decision I ever made in regards to selling my phone was using Stoppoint. It took over two months to receive my payment - yet once receipt of my phone was confirmed they immediately reduced the price, within 24 hours. Then took 8 weeks to release the payment. I sent 7 internal messages, and 5 external (through regular email) to the support team and never once received an update or response. Stay away from this company. It is not worth the extra money you think you'll get through them.

STOPOINT IS A SCAM - WILL TAKE YOUR ELECTRONICS & NOT PAY OR RESPOND

I shipped my iPhone 6 to Stopoint and it was delivered on June 20, 2017, no signature required...FedEx left the package on a SIDE DOOR. I have not heard from Stopoint, no response to emails nor messages and now the status says expired. I was promised payment within 24 hours. I am filing charges of grand theft with the Miami Police, filing a charge with the FTC, BBB, and Attorney General. Upon reading their Facebook reviews, it appears they stopped operating around March. I wish I did my research before I shipped my phone to them. My sister used their services about 5 months ago and it worked well. You cannot take consumer electronics without consequences...it's grand theft. Beware!
