SCAM for tourists!!!…

I was passing near and I have ,,National trust" card so I visited it for free. For free it's OK, but not for the money!!! It's not even worth £5!!! It's BIG SCAM for tourists. I was surprised -how many people were visiting it. For family it's £86.30 +£4 car park-NOT WORTH AT ALL!! Where they did get so good reviews-did they buy it??

Misleading Pricing Strategy and Lack of Accountability

I contacted Stonehenge-Tours for a quote after seeing their website list a tour "from £195 for up to 4 passengers." After no response to my online request, I followed up via email and eventually heard back from George—who quoted me £745 for a basic day tour to Stonehenge and Salisbury.

When I questioned the huge discrepancy, I was told the lower rate only applies during unspecified "certain times of year"—even though the £195 rate is displayed prominently year-round, including during peak tourist season. That kind of pricing practice feels intentionally deceptive, especially since Portland, England only receives cruise traffic during specific months. Advertising an off-season price to attract customers, then charging nearly 4x more when demand rises, is not honest business—it’s opportunistic and misleading.

George has now said they'll consider making their pricing clearer on the website, but based on other recent complaints on TripAdvisor and Trustpilot, this seems like a well-known pattern—not a one-off oversight. It's unfortunate, because tourists like myself are left feeling taken advantage of.

I’d strongly advise others to read Trustpilot and Tripadvisor reviews carefully and be wary of pricing surprises. Look elsewhere if you want fair, transparent service.

An excellent day out and wonderful…

An excellent day out and wonderful experience. The history in those stones, the status as a World Heritage Site, the magnificent setting, the small details. We found the whole day both deeply spiritual and extremely interesting but you must visit the visitor centre, Neolithic houses, see the various objects etc, engage in the whole experience. Also the people help make the experience and Susan one of the guides/staff was excellent and so very informative plus all the tourists were so very kind and polite. Thank you Stonehenge and English Heritage

I loved visiting Stonehenge as I hadn't…

I loved visiting Stonehenge as I hadn't been before. We spent an hour wandering around and then drove up to the stone circle where we could walk beneath the massive rocks. It is an experience everyone should have and it is well worth going. The museum is also a fun place to go to and they have collectibles and merch available for visitors to buy. I will definitely be going back again soon.
