We enjoyed our Scotland trip with Martin and Wales trip with Peter. They were prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. Their knowledge allowed them to alter stops to things that seemed more interesting to us. Their restaurant suggestions were excellent. Would highly recommend this tour company.

Antony made our experience! A great guy. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and made traveling and site seeing so relaxing and comfortable, especially with all that we wanted to see in just a few days. He knew where to spend just a few minutes and where to linger based on his experience of the area. He even added a few extra stops he thought we’d enjoy after getting to know us. Highly recommend. First class all the way!

Everything promised was delivered, with our expectations exceeded. The guides and drivers were all timely, friendly, informative and willing to accommodate our pace. When the guide and the location security staff are on a first name basis, you know you are with an insider. London can be crowded with long waits, but we never experienced any of that. Being inside the glass at the Cabinet War Rooms, right up next to the map or Churchill's desk, will be a lasting memory. Talk about "in the room where it happened!" Getting to know the people taking us around was as much as part of the experience as the places we walked through. We would use them again.

I enjoyed an excellent day tour of both the Cotswalds and Highgrove. I should first mention that I decided at the last minute to plan this trip. I appreciate that Private Tours put it together for me in just a couple of days. Peter, my tour guide and driver, a university history Professor, was lovely and super knowledgeable. We traveled to all of the locations in a seemless manner and I never felt rushed. I was picked up at my hotel at 9 am. In the morning we toured 3 Cotswald villages, had lunch and drove through several other villages. We made our way to Highgrove Gardens for a mid afternoon tour which lasted for 1.5 hours. From there we returned to London by 7 pm. It was such a treat to do this. I highly recommend it!

Overall the experience was amazing! The tours were well arranged and the tour guides knowledgeable and accommodating. We traveled with my elderly mother and the company arranged for her to have an electric wheelchair for the duration of our England and Scotland tour. Dean was our driver/ local tour guide/ comedian/ caretaker and anything else that we needed while we were in England. I have to say that Dean made the whole trip so much more fun; he especially made my mother feel at ease and comfortable! We will miss him! Alan was our driver in Scotland and he too made the trip much more enjoyable! The only reason I am giving the trip an overall 4 instead of 5 is because 2 out of four of our accommodations were not at the level that we had expected and we had to change accommodations after checking in and taking a look around the hotels. The company did reimburse us for the first mishap, we are still waiting to hear about the second time.

Dean was amazing! We had the best day in London! We didn’t have to worry about a thing and saw all the sites! He was so knowledgeable! We will definitely be back and we’ll ask for him again!

We booked a tour of Hever Castle with Private Tours England. The booking process was easy, communication was prompt, and they adjusted the itinerary to match our plans. Our guide, Susannah, contacted us prior to the tour and made sure everything was still good to go. She met us at the gate and took us around the grounds and was very knowledgeable and engaging. She was also very flexible with the tour to keep our kids engaged and happy.
We would definitely book again next time in the area.

They designed our entire trip, found the most experienced tour guides, and Dean, our extremely knowledgeable and very experienced driver became family. He certainly went every extra mile to make our trip about luxury and unforgettable fun! We learned so much and had a fantastic holiday. Worry free, door to door, the very best!!

Peter is the best of the best!! He was more than we could have expected with our last min booking. He is so knowledgeable and so kind. Was a long journey, but he made it enjoyable from beginning to end. You have to do a tour with him. 20/20 recommend.

Private Tours of England did a great job of designing and implementing a day trip for us to Kent to visit Knole House and Hever Castle. Our guide/ driver, Kevin, was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable of the region and an excellent driver.

Excellent driver for two long days. Excellent communication and knowledge with accommodating cheerful attitude. Appreciate the flexibility of arrangements made ahead of time and excellent time management. Car very clean and comfortable. Because of London traffic/ time consumption may arrange for one or two countryside nights outside central London next time.

We spent three days touring London with Mark and Lori we had a wonderful time. They are extremely knowledgeable and best of all they have a great personality and are fun to spend time with. We also spent an afternoon at Windsor with Amanda she was a delight and very knowledgeable. The entire process from the planning of the trip to the execution was flawless. Absolutely amazing driver Kevin . He went above and beyond — not only was he professional, punctual, and made me feel completely safe, but he was also incredibly kind and thoughtful. He helped me film TikToks, gave such wise advice, and our conversations genuinely made the experience so special. He has such a calm, positive energy and truly loves what he does. I couldn’t have asked for a better driver — he made the trip memorable in the best way. Highly recommend!

Our Private Tours England journey was amazing! Simon, our driver, showed up at exactly the right time, told us fantastic stories/info/tales as we drove, and was extremely helpful and clear about timings, tickets and details. We were picked up at our rental, dropped off at perfect spots at both Stonehenge & the Roman Baths, and were back at the front door of our place happy and relaxed. Highly recommended!
