StaySharp has really improved my HR career life. I happened to know about StaySharp’s online CIPD course in August 2023 via an online advertisement while browsing webs. At that time I was at the edge of leaving my recruitment job when there was not much recruitment needs in a company and was thinking of a way to continue my HR career path in the UK. The idea of studying a CIPD Level 5 course totally online via monthly subscription method and the programme was credited by BPP really attracted me of its flexibility, cost-saving, and a promising high-quality BPP course, which was totally a new idea in comparison to other online CIPD centres I used to research about in the past. I started the course with the 14-day trial and the experience with StaySharp was so great and user-friendly on both mobile and computer that I could easily study whenever I wanted (which I often spent time in the early morning, on the train, or weekend time to study). The teachers at StaySharp were amazing and knowledgable, especially Helen Minor. She was really an inspiring teacher who could explain every difficult terms in a simple, meaningful way that I could understand and remember. Her ability to connect everyone in a virtual class trying to give learning and interaction opportunities for everyone helped me not feeling lost. Besides, the feedback that I received from Helen and other assignment assessors (McCarthy, etc.) was so valuable that I learned more from my weaknesses. Furthermore, I received continuous support from customer care team. When I failed my first assignment because of not giving reference to one answer, Nazma was always there to kindly instruct me how to improve from it and resubmit the assignment. She worked day and night even at weekend I guess as whenever I asked for support, she always replied quick even after working hours (I hope this doesn’t affect her health) but overall it was so great to receive her support. There was once time that my assignment was delayed to get scores for about two weeks due to assessors resources but the center sorted it out quick and even emailed me to apologise and reimburse me with one month free. Wasn’t it brilliant? I could say that without these support I could not ever think of completing my CIPD Level 5 in 7 months, which I am now only waiting for the certificate to be arrived. The decision to study CIPD level 5 also supported my job search so I could move in to a new senior HR role smoothly since Jan 2024 and can now practice what I learnt from StaySharp in my people practices. Terrible! Just terrible! Watching lectures and they keep stopping, rewinding themselves from beginning to the end, voice keeps breaking. Unbearable! Impossible to understand the topic and therefore impossible to learn. AVOID!!!!!

I’ve done the MATS AAT course and I am thoroughly happy with it.

Excellent training provider. The course is broken down into bite-sized lectures and in such a way as to be easily understandable. Learning is checked at regular intervals.
The subscription model appealed to me as I want to do several courses in quick succession. Other training providers will charge you for each course. This way I am able to self study at my own pace and move onto the next course without incurring additional fees. AND the course materials (e-book versions) are included in the price.

HR Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.
A well structured course - which is very well supported by tutors and staff throughout the duration of the course...Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of studying my CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management with StaySharp. To note, I am a very self motivated learner and do not need much guidance but if I ever did need it the resources were there. The lectures were mostly good and watching them whilst working on the specific assessment criteria meant you really couldn't go wrong. Customer service was 10/10, rapid responses and very helpful, shout out to Nazma and Toni!
I passed my course on the cusp on the payment renewal and requested a refund for the month as it was not needed and with zero problems they completely understood and refunded me (every little helps in this climate!).

I also want to highlight, this is one of the most affordable platforms to complete your CIPD course and benefits those who have the time and will be quick to complete the course (I took 8 months) as you pay monthly and cancel once you pass your final assignment.

Another postive, they recently changed their website layout and it is easy to navigate.

Fantastic course content, easy to navigate platform and a pay as you go option which, in my opinion, is the biggest selling point of all. Great if you want to take some time out and pick up your studies at a later date. Overall, a really positive experience and am plotting my next course already! Thank you.

I just completed my CIPD Level 5 with StaySharp. The course is mostly self-study with live sessions available which worked well for me and I was able to complete the qualification in 7months. However, if you think you'll need lots of support and regular tutor contact this might not be the best format for you. The subscription payment model was good as it gave me an incentive not to procrastinate! Nazma was great on live chat, with quick and helpful replies, sorting out any issues. I'd have liked the marking time frames to be shorter (as I am impatient) and the feedback could have been a little more detailed but other than that I'd recommend StaySharp.

I think the worst thing that the Company does, especially with the pay as you go lessons, they take about a month to respond to a submitted essay/assignment. This means that intentionally they are taking more time so that the pay as you go extends. It should be no less than a week, given that our essays are pretty standard.

The learning contents rely heavily on external materials such as YouTube, newsletter, whitepapers, etc. and therefore lacks the sense of consistency. Progress is also not accurately captured on the online platform (constantly resets itself). Many of the video recordings are also poor in either video quality, presentation, or both. The evaluation of submitted assessment is quick and provides personalized feedback.

It was cost effective offering various payment options is STAR I passed CIPD level 3 6 months great tutor excellent student service! Highly recommended

I have had a fantastic experience with this provider, always been very helpful, very quick to respond and quickly resolved an issue I had during my studies. I have now completed the CIPD Level 5 with huge encouragement from the Stay Sharp team, would highly recommend.

Great Provider and great customer service!

I recently encountered a frustrating issue with the site that significantly impacted my study routine. While studying during the weekend, I unexpectedly got logged out of the site. To make matters worse, the customer support is only available from Monday to Friday, 9-17, leaving me without any assistance during this crucial time.

In an attempt to resolve the issue on my own, I signed up again using a different email. Unfortunately, this effort proved futile as I still couldn't access the platform. This entire ordeal has caused me to lose precious time that could have been better spent on revising and preparing for my studies.

Update: The customer service reached out to me on the following day (Sunday) and the issue has been resolved.

I was studying CIPD Level 5. I don't feel this service is as described. I appreciate it is an online learning platform, however I feel there is no individual support from staysharp itself. I got a lot of support for the study group I joined on WhatsApp. However I submitted an assignment which was a refer and I could not speak to a tutor about these points, feedback was given, however it wasn't particularly helpful.

If you are able to study without any support then this will be fine for you. However I did expect a small amount of support from staysharp (as when I signed up it described there being dedicated tutors to your module).

I feel misold and I have wasted a lot of time and money in result of this and have since switched providers.

As per the response from Staysharp, they did refund a month and then also offer a further month free, however without the guidance on my assessment the extra month was not beneficial to me.

Course books (digital) are very clear and there are plenty of exercises and practice papers to make sure you are exam-ready!
You can work at your own pace and only pay for the time you need… brilliant service!

After receiving a response to my previous comment, I decided to change my rating and update my comment regarding the platform itself.
The platform is very useful for learning. I really like that all courses are open at the same time and there is an opportunity to return to a certain exam, especially in the case of receiving an exemption.
The main disadvantage is that the pdf file of the textbook is laid out in an old version that does not match the recorded videos. This is not convenient if the student decides to study exclusively on the platform without buying a paper version of the textbook.
Overall, I am satisfied with the platform and will continue to learn on it.
