The course started well
The course started well, however the moderator is very insensitive if they have any assumptions that you used AI. They say they have a way to check for AI usage that was “accurate”, which clearly isn’t seeing as no AI was used. It was very frustrating as the only evidence you can provide to support yourself is a discussion on your work and you can’t even show your search history of how you created your work.
Also, at the start of the course, I was writing the essays as I did in university, which didn’t not receive any negative feedback. Only my last essay I got told to re-write and to only include one reference per question with a focus on the CIPD website. To me this is not being critical of the answer and is poor for any qualification.

We've checked our systems and we do not have a student called J Wilkins who has completed their studies with us but appreciate you may like to keep anonymous as the process for investigating AI generated work can be quite sensitive.
The CIPD operate a zero tolerance policy for AI generated work and when we are marking, along with plagiarism, this is something we check thoroughly– this includes references from fictional sources, referenced that are in different languages, text that does not make sense with typos and unfinished sentences.
We then request a meeting with the student to discuss the findings and agree a way moving forward – usually to re write the assignment in their own words.
All students have to sign a declaration to say AI has not been used in their work – this is also flagged to students when the meeting is completed.

I have just completed my Level 5 CIPD…
I have just completed my Level 5 CIPD with StaySharp. When I came across them I wasn't sure how I felt about the subscription model and I contacted CIPD who told me they were new to the training and so I thought I would give it a chance. I have ADHD and so having a subscription that I could pause if I was having a busy month and struggling allowed me flexibility. It also meant that I could take as long as I needed and manage my payments to align with this. The team responded quickly and gave me support when I needed it. In the first six months I did struggle with some of the formatting however StaySharp have quickly reflected on the best set up for learners and I am now able to work the system in a way that benefits me. I am now looking to take my next qualification and am hoping to return to them as I feel supported with my learning needs.

Best CIMA tuition provider that I have…
Best CIMA tuition provider that I have found. The videos are short and the tutors are great. The study plan is logical and it works! Passed 2 OT’s first time with StaySharp. Currently busy with E3, and plan to use StaySharp for SCS too.

This is a scam
This is a scam - I was blocked and locked out of my account even during the free trial period and as a result wasn’t able to log in to cancel the subscription and yet got charged after the trial period.
Even up till this moment I am still unable to log in and I have been charged £60 .
This injustice and corruption will not stand

I can see that you accessed your content during the free trial period between 17th - 23rd October and have extensively used the course book, exam kit, watched some videos and looked at some Steps for your ACCA FM and AFM material ( I can share these logs with you if you want to reach out to us).
We have reviewed all our live chat/email logs, and we do not have any live chat or email records of you raising you had access issues. The team are around on live chat weekdays 9-530pm so are always available to help and support if subscribers have technical issues (which are very rare and usually related to password).
Your first payment kicked in after 14 day trial as you did not cancel - this isn't a scam this is how our subscription model works. Payments will be taken unless you cancel and once cancel no further payments are taken. Our logs do not show any attempt to cancel. Furthermore you can cancel through your account (not the learning content) so you would have been able to do this, if you believe you were blocked from accessing content). The live chat is omnipresent on the website and learning platform but our logs do not indicate that you reached out for help
Finally, I would ask that when speaking to the StaySharp team you remain professional, respectful and polite at all times. The live chat you have had this morning has not met the standards we would expect. Please consider this when speaking with the team in the future. The team work very hard to help and support students and we expect conversations to be professional and appropriate at all times

Well explained videos
I have been using Stay Sharp for my ACCA self studies for around 6 months and have found the service better than initially expected. It has been my main source of content for studying along with a few other free resources and I managed to pass my first exam FR, first time in September 24 sitting. The videos are well explained and go through plenty of examples.
I have found using laptop best as I was originally having some issues using an IPad with videos freezing. However since switching to a laptop I haven’t had any problems.

Good value for money
Informative and progressive layout that helps you grasp information quickly. Just hope they are sufficient and up to date for the upcoming paper. Would be nice to include lecturer names as I would have liked to given credit to the one in the FR videos.

I really like this
I really like this - I can get BPP lectures for a fraction of a price! What's best is that if I need to review a topic from a previous exam - I can easily review it via accessing those modules too! The only thing Im slightly missing, which is on me as i could do this myself, really- is that there isn't a clear set amount of deadlines.

Frustrating and clunky
I keep getting asked for feedback even though I have only just started the course. So far this is my experience. The content is viewed in a small box inside the browser window which is not very easy to scroll through. Some of the mini assessments ask you to match up different options but unless you get them in the right order it is marked as incorrect even if you have the answers right. It can take a while to figure out what order they want them in! If you don’t complete the full learning module your progress isn’t saved which is incredibly frustrating as one learning section could be a good few hours long. I have contacted customer support who said they would look into it. To make it all worse the price has been hiked up since I started looking at the course a couple of months ago. These are my issues a few weeks in - hopefully it doesn’t get any worse! Bit disappointed tbh.

The learning content is interactive and online; when you access it, it should appear and cover most of your screen (but this may vary depending on your settings on your computer - happy to help if you want to drop us an email and show how it is appearing for you)
When you are working in the interactive online learning, it does record the progress but only at the end of the activity which as you say may be a few hours work. This is something we are aware of and will develop over time - we will look to see if we can replace these with something that does track progress within the learning activity as we appreciate this may be frustrating.
We did increase prices at start of September, but notified all subscribers to inform of price rise so they could lock in the price at that stage. I'm not sure when you signed up but if you signed up before the price increase then you would have locked in that price as the price increase applied to new subscribers.

Affordable. Top Notch AAT Study Materials.
I have been with StaySharp for a year now and have successfully completed Level 2 and Level 3 with Distinctions solely due to the way the lecturers have explained all in easy understandable methods. They explain topics very well. The online video lectures & study materials are always updated each year to match the Finance Acts twice a year so I have never found any materials out of date unlike the previous training provider I was with. Thank you for your review. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we believe your unique circumstances have led to a review that does not accurately reflect our program or services.
As you are aware, we provide CIPD professional qualifications and not the apprenticeship route. Upon learning that you were pursuing an apprenticeship, we promptly informed you that we could not support this as we are not an apprenticeship provider. We suggested BPP, our parent company, as an alternative for apprenticeship support. You mentioned that, as a training provider yourself, you were undertaking an apprenticeship while using StaySharp for the professional qualification. We clarified that we could not support this approach and explained the reasons why. However, we offered to support you through the professional qualification route, which you subsequently chose to pursue.
As you are on a monthly subscription, you have the option to cancel at any time and complete your studies with a different provider. We can provide evidence of the units you have completed if you choose to take this route.
We are also updating our website to clearly state that we do not support the apprenticeship route and to direct users to BPP, our parent company, which does offer apprenticeship support.
