Hotel cancelled my booking hours before checkin and took NO RESPONSIBILITY!

I had booked two rooms for my aged parents and their couple friend, they were visiting a temple in salasar and wanted to visit jaipur on their way back.

Trusting the reviews and ratings of the hotel, I booked the two rooms at this hotel from staybook.in

Hours before checkin I received an email saying booking was cancelled as room was no longer available (this is after making payment in full and receiving a booking confirmation)

The third party claimed to give us an alternate room.which was 2000/- more expensive/room/night

I called the hotel and asked for a justification
And the response I got

"Please TALK TO THE PLATFORM WHERE YOU BOOKED THE ROOM FROM, it's not our responsibility"

How is it the customer's fault if because of their mix up you and your parents are suffering and PRACTICALLY FORCED TO PAY A HIGHER AMOUNT for a room that you hadn't even asked for.

The sheer lack of credibility and responsibility by the staybook really surprises me ! They operate from.the sheer guarantee that even if we scam a few customers out of hundreds we have, no one will notice and no one will care.

Thay pretend to be "official website" but then ask for more money. If you reject, they cancel your booking but keep comission. which is basically fraud. Avoid avoid avoid

Very bad experience. It seems that Staybook is a fraud.
I made hotel booking through Staybook for our stay in Hotel Ambience, Gwalior and made full payment which was duly confirmed by Staybook. On arrival, the hotel reception informed that there was no booking confirmation from them. As no contact number available for Staybook, I immediately texted them as well as sent mail to Staybook.in but there is no response. I had to struggle a lot in arranging accommodation somewhere else and spent unnecessary expenses.

It is fraud company with no customer support no.Fake. Don't get in to the trap.

It's a fraud company don't do any business with them. They are cheaters and lairs. After confirming reservation they will keep asking for more and more money. Stick with make my trip and Goibibo.

The staff was polite and attentive, the requests that I made they fulfilled it properly, sheets and room was clear overall I had the best experience

I was booking hotel nitya maharani i went to the google profile of the hotel to read the reviews then i saw the staybook overtheir after seeing that i saw it have the best rates among all of the other websites i booked it and the customer service was nice help in direction

Could not have been worse. Staybook tops the list for most unprofessional executives. Takes payment and refuse rooms on the last day citing technical issues. Then provides options for alternative cheap hotels. Fraud company. Beware

Beware when booking with them!!!

Booked Manali Heights for my Dec trip, paid full amount but later asked to pay more as the paid amount was not accepted.

Reached out to the team numerous times without proper response. Had to wait for days to get an answer. I requested for a full refund which they agreed but never actually cancelled the booking

Had to cancel it myself and got charged a cancellation fee which should not be the case as per the cancellation policy.

Worst experience ever
