Nestor and the team were great from start to finish; they were upfront with all information and filled in the gaps of my understanding when I asked for clarification. Process seemed relatively straight-forward and the cost seemed reasonable. I have tried several banking solutions for my different projects and Statrys is definitely the one that provided the highest quality overall. A quick breakdown of my experience with them:
1) An end-to-end solution: they really took care of everything, so I only had to deal with them, very convenient, from company setup to ready-to-use (registration + bank account activated).
2) A white-glove service: they guided me through every steps, they went beyond the scope of the service I paid for (I had issue/questions related to tax/accounting and they always tried to answer and provide additional info/tips)
3) Extremely efficient: company registration+account opening/activation went super fast, just a few days
I strongly recommend them if you want to open an account in Hong Kong or Singapore.

This company is run by a Frenchman and has a typical French feel.
On the one hand, the website is very artfully done. Good detail and professional, better than any competitor website I would say.
On the other hand, to speak to someone you need make an "appointment" and my emails were all answered after a full 2 days.
This is typical for continental Europe, but for local Hong Kong service providers, the response time is usually a couple of hours.
So if you're from the old world, you'll feel right at home with these guys. If you're used to HK service, go elsewhere.

I applied to open a business bank account with Statrys. After submitting the required documents, Statrys emailed me to request an up-to-date Business Registration Certificate, which I didn’t have, since our previous year’s certificate had already expired, and the new certificate hadn’t come in yet (certificates takes 1-2 months to be issued each year).
I told Statrys this, and they requested three additional pieces of documentation to replace the Business Registration Certificate. I provided all 3 within 3 hours of Statrys’ request. Statrys then responded with this:
“Thank you for providing all the remaining documents/information.
Regarding the Business Registration Certificate, we can move forward with your business account application under the following condition:
You will need to transfer your company’s secretarial services to Statrys Corporate Services Limited to resolve the compliance issue related to the certificate.
Additionally, there will be no monthly fees for this service.
Kindly sign and return the form to us if you wish to proceed.“
When I asked why Statrys would provide company secretary services for no fees, they told me that they in fact do charge a fee for company secretary services (despite what they said above) and that only the monthly banking fee would be waived.
I pointed out the inaccuracy in the information they had just given me, and also pointed out that it didn’t seem necessary to transition my company secretary services, which has been with one service provider for many years, just to open a bank account.
Then I received an email from Statrys’ COO and co-founder, who told me that because I haven’t moved my company secretary services to Statrys, they’ve declined my application to open a bank account.
Surprised about this, I responded to the COO (and cc’ed Statrys’ other co-founder) and asked for clarification. The COO responded with this:
“I’m afraid your application is now closed as this opportunity has passed.
I wish you all the best in finding an alternative payment solution for your company.
Best regards"
I reached out to both co-founders about that response and received this response:
“Dear Jordan,
Your application for a Business account has been declined because you can not provide a valid BR proving that your company is in good order.
Best regards"
I responded to both co-founders again explaining that I’d already provided the three pieces of documentation that has been explicitly requested for opening an account without the current Business Registration Certificate.
They ignored my email.
I followed up 5 days later to both co-founders plus one additional executive.
All three ignored my email.
I followed up another 6 days later to the same three executives plus several other Statrys executives.
All of them ignored my email.
--- HERE’S THE LESSON IN ALL THIS ---
Statrys’ business practices are both misleading and unethical, relying on bait-and-switch tactics to coerce customers into using their add-on services. They spread untruths repeatedly in their messaging and communications, and when those untruths are pointed out to them, they reject and ignore you.
Their refusal to engage in any sort of dialogue demonstrates their complete disregard for customer satisfaction, and clearly shows that Statrys throws people away as soon as those people don’t do exactly what they want.
The level of unprofessionalism shown by Statrys throughout the entire process has been astounding. I strongly recommend every entrepreneur to avoid working with them in any capacity.

Very fast and easy account opening. I tried to open my account in Hong Kong with a traditional bank first and followed the "normal" process. I had to fly to HK for the final interview and later got rejected with no reason given. Mainly I think those big banks don't want to bother with small customers anymore. I was about to give up already and then found Statrys. It took me 5 days to open the account and everything was possible online via video conference.
