Restricted my account late on Friday 3rd July for no reason what so ever other than I ave transfered money to my other accounts that have MY NAME on them
Due to this, I am unable to access any money or transfer money in out out of my account. This has put my in a stressful situation because I am unable to buy shopping or travel as I do not drive.
I have called 3 times, been escalated every time for this restriction to be taken off and messaged them multiple times with next to no responses.
I understand its not customer service who can sort it so this review is aimed at the team who have done this.
Genuinely, I'd get a quicker response from my dead nan at this point.
It is absolutely disgusting to put someone in this position.
I have had this account for 5+ years and this has never happened before.
Still waiting for this to be sorted as on 17:30 6th July.
EDIT - excuses excuses, none of your staff reply on the app I've looked into it and people have been waiting 2+ weeks for theirs to be sorted. It is bang out of order

Awful customer support. I have only just started using them for my personal affairs. As part of moving things around I transferred some money from my Stocks and currency trading account. My funds were instantly frozen. I was asked to confirm who was sending me money - and the identity of a numebr of the receipts in my account. When I explained i was accused of channelling crypto and threatened that my account would be closed .. Disgusting

Instant transactions and statement updates. The site even reminds you where you used the card and puts in categories. I finding this card with the phone app is an excellent system for a banking experience.

As a new customer who switched from nationwide so far off to a good start with Starling bank compared to nationwide bank.
Opening a bank account with Starling Bank was very easy i even opened a savings account too. Customer service so far being fantastic and fast. Even though this an online banking Starling bank are doing really well unlike Nationwide or other retail banking.
Keep up the good work Starling bank so far I am very impressed with you.

It took too long (18 hours) for my business account to be opened. After waiting for more than 12 hours, I tried monzo and it was opened within 1 hour and got my debit card the next day without asking for it
