Received a parking ticket for 103.75, but down to 82.75 if paid in 7 days.
Put my license plate number in and included my province abbreviation, assuming this was the correct procedure.
And now have been told that my plate and the reservation don’t match. What a joke!

I have used Spothero three times in the Boston, MA area. The first two experiences went very smoothly. The third one did not. I reserved parking at a downtown garage in order to attend an event. First, when I got the parking pass, the address listed there was different from the one listed on the original menu of possible parking facilities for selection. When I went back to look at the listing, it said "there is an additional entrance at the back of the garage" but did not provide the address for that additional entrance. I was left uncertain as to whether the new address on my parking pass referred to this additional entrance. Second, when I arrived at the facility and scanned my QR code, it didn't work. The scanning machine rejected it and would not open the barrier. I had another car behind me and also had to hurry to the event, so I bought a ticket. I hoped that I would be able to get the human garage staff to cancel the ticket, but by the time I got back from the event, they were gone. Third, when I got home and called Spothero customer service, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes (with odd minor-key music). Finally, I was connected to a customer service agent who was very helpful and refunded the parking charge to my credit card. The episode ended well, but this has made me hesitant to use Spothero again.

I needed to change a reservation but using the App did not work. I called customer support and got a live agent within one minute. Not only did the agent make the change for me but waived the increase in cost based on me being "a good customer". The whole process took less than five minutes. Exceptional customer service.

I used to think so highly of Spot Hero, especially their customer service. I recently had a situation where i needed to reach out to customer support and attempted to call numerous days and got no answer, once i finally did (days later) you could tell this was a GSRC team based off the background noise and the 'one size fits all' procedure/response. I had let them know about my horrible experience and they asked me to provide some things in order to move forward - I did and the message response i got was anything BUT compassionate, considerate or customer focused. In short their response was condescending like i was a child and should've known better but because i didn't they'll do bare minimum to fix, not once addressing the bigger issue because based off the response they didn't even bother to fully read the issue and just automatically assumed the issue was due to me, the customer. Really unfortunate to see this company i once held in high regards try and reduce headcount/costs by moving to an overseas call center that lacks any type of empathy, instead of investing in their customers and ensuring positive experiences.

Well, I prepaid for a parking spot and it was not marked anywhere. I even called for help and still couldn’t find where to park. No signage at all. I received numerous emails when I submitted my ticket and could not get any help. Finally I called and Johnathon is setting up a refund for the parking. However I will never use this service again.

The initial experience was challenging. We were unable to access the parking due to closure and were directed to a different lot and charged there as well. I reached out to spot hero customer support and they apologized and refunded what I was charged on the app, plus gave me a credit of the difference to use on my next parking charge. Very highly satisfied with the level of customer service.

I had a big problem with road closures that prevented me from getting to my reservation. Spot hero quickly refunded my money without a big hassle. I will definitely use them again!!

You cannot reliably reserve a parking spot at any location. Availability at that facility is not guaranteed and we showed up on the date of our flight and was told the parking garage was full and they turned us away. The parking facility then directed us to a different lot that is running a scam and charging customers an additional $50/night in cash. We ended up re-booking another garage at a much higher price through Spot Hero and requested a cancellation of the existing reservation since it was not honored by the parking facility. Instead of a refund to the original form of payment all you get is credit to be used on this unreliable app.
