Spartan Campers Reviews

Superb experience in buying our new van, friendly and professional, went above expectations to help us. Van and fit quality is first class and has everything we need. Even sorting out finanace with their recommended company was seamless. Can’t recommend highly enough

We bought our van back in November last year. From the first interaction with Mark at Spartan we knew we had made the right choice. Not only was he genuinely excited for us, he invested the time to find out exactly what it was we needed and wanted from our campervan. Having it as our second car meant short wheel base/ulez/aircon were a must.
The showroom was super helpful…customising our van even down to isofix zips for the kids! It’s practical yet really stylish.
The whole process took 7 weeks….they updated us with photos.
The handover was thorough and straightforward… we named him Bear 🐻
After a couple of weeks we had some teething problems….warranty wise addressed them quickly with the help from Spartan and a small issue which was rectified by Spartan themselves. No ones fault just small niggles but the aftercare service was flawless- sorted and in good time.
We have now explored, Cotswolds, Wales twice, the Peaks, gigs, Lincolnshire and are in love. He drives amazingly, we get the best nights sleep! (Get the mattresses Spartan recommend!)
We are one very happy family. Planning our next big adventure next year travelling around Europe.
Thanks to the team. X

Amazing customer service. This is our first purchase of a campervan and the team have been so supportive, taking time to answer my (many) questions. Top quality conversions and they kept me up to date at every stage of the conversion process. I will 100% be using Spartan again. Thank you guys!!

Thought I would add a comment to back up others on this site. Like many others we knew little about campervans having had a tent. We went along to a camping show, saw one we liked and took ownership a week later. We had a few issues to start with but Spartan were quick to correct these and always at the end of the email/phone. Their customer service is excellent and such nice guys! Lynda Taylor

After dreaming about owning a VW Camper for years, we've finally made it with the help of the great team at Spartan Campers. From the first meetings with Mark and Fraser they have been extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. We were never made to feel that our many many questions were too mundane, it's a massive purchase and they made sure we were 100% confident in the decisions we made. Mark even brought his own van to check if we could park it on our driveway (yes, we can). The post sales service from Joe and the team is great. On our first outing the passenger window electrics didn't work. We rang them up, next day took it in and in the time it took to have a coffee it was sorted. There are a couple of minor things to be sorted, but the delay is down to us not having the time to book it in as we are out and about enjoying it so much. Thanks guys, it's a thing of beauty and makes us so happy.

How many good things can you say about a company that is fast becoming the best in the business? Well, let us try... we approached Spartan with a design (in our heads) for our dream camper, and from the very start, nothing was too much trouble. They sourced our base van for us, and while we were picky about spec and age, they were patient, supportive and found the perfect vehicle for us. They let us plan the colour scheme and interior fit-out of the van, and worked with us on a few useful extras we were after too (onboard WiFi being one of them) - so despite us throwing a couple of challenges at the team, they all remained professional, friendly and on-target, delivering us our dream camper in a timescale that worked for us (and keeping us updated throughout the build process too). The quality of the work, the quality of the people and the quality of the whole experience mean the five stars we've given them is 100% deserved. If you're in the market for a camper, and you want to work with the best, head to Coventry and visit Spartan Campers HQ, you simply can't go wrong!

I have had the best help with this company and their vans are as good as people say. Build quality is 10/10 and it also the knowledge that the team have. I would say after spending a few week research this company offer the best VW conventions that are on the market.

Having shopped around for my dream campervan and found it was an absolute mine field. I was absolutely blown away by the enthusiasm and professionalism of the Spartan Team. The entire process was seemless and the result just outstanding. Thamk you Mark Joe Neil amd Ftaser Lee and the whole crew. If I could give 6 stars ot would be wothout question. Go and see them to fulfill your Dream of owning yoir worldclass Campervan.

What a fabulous company! We have been so impressed with how the whole process has been handled from start to finish. The guys at Spartan kept us up to date throughout and nothing has been too much trouble, I cannot rate the customer service highly enough - not to mention the top quality vans they produce at end of it. Thank you all so much, we are thrilled with our new dream van!

Having a campervan has been a dream for a while and now it’s reality! The team at Spartan have all been really helpful and I have never felt that my questions ( as a newbie) are too basic or foolish! It is quite apparent that the team are rightly proud of their product and what they do is amazing 🤩 I’m looking forward to many adventures and enjoying the great outdoors. Special mention to Mark who I have dealt with the most. Nothing I asked about was too much trouble and the advice invaluable.
Thank you so much Spartan, a great company that I would have no hesitation in recommending 😁

Collected our campervan today and can’t recommend these guys enough, the whole process from start to finish was so easy and trouble free .

The process with Spartan, especially Mark and Fraser has been friendly professional and efficient. The were small hiccups along the way that were ironed out by the team and communicated clearly.
The end result; the van, is a thing of beauty.

I’ll just cut to the chase… The whole experience of dealing with Spartan has been a dream. Great product and non pushy sales. Couldn’t fault them in any way. I’d give them 6 stars if it was an option. Dean & Susan Tranter proud owners of a Spartan T6 Campervan.

Initially put a deposit down on a van with Mark and then got cold feet about spending so much money so cancelled my order. After a month or so of looking around other companies, I just couldn’t find anything else to compare to the quality and look of Spartan campers. So here I am about to drive away in my gorgeous new van!
I really can’t praise the team highly enough and would recommend this company to anyone. Really friendly bunch, happy to show you around the workshops and show you each and every stage along the build. There’s Facebook group for owners and you won’t find anyone with anything negative to say.
Thank you all at Spartan especially Mark, Fraser and Joe.

Fantastic from start to finish, mark made everything very easy explained everything to a T recommend very highly.

We bought our van in August 2023, sadly the Dual Mass Flywheel failed with no prior symptoms within days of us arriving back home and we noticed some respray work that was not quite as it should be. The measure of a company that genuinely have their customers at the heart of their business, is one that responds to get things sorted. Spartan Campers did just that for us. You can read hundreds of positive reviews from customers when things have gone well but it is vital to know how a company responds when things go wrong. Spartan Campers have your back, they don't let you down and they go above and beyond to sort things if there is an issue. A big thank you to Mark for his outstanding customer relations skills and the whole Spartan team for the work that went in to our van. We are proud to be living the dream with Team Spartan.

If you’re caught up in the minefield of the many different conversion companies and abundance of choice that is out in the market, then look no further. Spartan Campers will tick all your boxes with their custom made vans and most of all their exceptional customer service (evident by the reviews on this site).

From my initial call, through to visiting their site they instilled so much confidence in me that I just knew my search was over and they were the company I wanted to go with.

Just as I was preparing to start the process from scratch, Joe showed me a van that had just come off the production line. As I looked around, Joe gave me all the details and I thought why wait when this van ticked ALL my boxes. So in just a matter of a couple of weeks I became the owner of a spectacular camper van!

The most reassuring thing as a woman venturing into this adventure by myself, is the after care service that Spartan provides. There is always someone at the end of the phone to answer any queries and questions and they genuinely care that you are getting the most from your camper and are happy with your choice.
Thank you Joe, Mark and Fraser! :-)

We spent many months researching campervan conversion companies and after a visit to Spartan we knew it was the right one from the moment we met Mark. No pushy sales speak - the vans speak for themselves. 7-8 weeks after discussing our requirements/wish list we are back today to collect our dream camper. The quality is superb and it is everything we wanted. We can't wait to start our adventures! Thanks to Mark and the rest of the Spartan company.

We had the pleasure of working with Spartan Campervans to create our dream camper, and we couldn't be happier. From the start, they were incredibly helpful, taking the time to listen to all of our ideas and desires. Throughout the entire process, they kept in close contact with us, ensuring we were involved every step of the way. Their willingness to let us see samples in person at the store allowed us to truly visualise our camper.

The design of our camper, "Cody," is nothing short of perfect. It has everything we could possibly need and more. One of our favourite features is the diesel heater, which keeps us warm and cosy during the winter months. Spartan Campervans were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure our camper was exactly what we wanted.

Thanks to Cody, we've been able to go on adventures whenever the sun shines, and even on rainy days, we're completely comfortable. Our camper has truly become our home away from home, changing our lives in the best possible way. We can't recommend Spartan Campervans enough for their exceptional service and the incredible product they've provided us. If you're looking for the perfect camper, look no further than Spartan Campervans.

When we decided to look into buying a camper van we came across Spartan Campers and my husband called them to gather some information, from the moment Mark called is back our experience was fantastic, Mark knew his stuff and was the most knowledgeable person we spoke to about campers, we love our camper, the design and the luxurious feel. We opted for some accessories for our off grid travels which include Solar panel, inverter and a tow bar. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and really enjoy our travels in our camper across France, Spain and Portugal.
