Our decision to get a campervan was a big moment and we wanted the best build we could from a builder close to home. We looked at a few in the midlands and Spartan was the second place we visited and left a good impression. First thing Kevin did was show us the process of building a campervan, nothing hidden and very open and honest approach. We spent 6 months deliberating and searching before going back to Spartan. Collection was a fantastic experience and the van is amazing. Great service and support from a good company run by people who have campervans.

First time campervan buyers, searched loads of stock online along with dealers. A few other dealerships came across as pushy and tried pushing the sale. We contacted Spartan and they were a breath of fresh air, friendly and helpful from the start, no pushy sales tactics. We arranged to view the factory and showroom with Kev and Si. We were amazed with the set up, such a laid back atmosphere made it a pleasure to view the build process and campers available. Once we had seen the build process and the high quality work, we were sold. We left by buying a camper from the showroom. The whole sales process was slick, finance arranged via Spartan, the simplest car finance I've taken out. Kev was amazing at handover, went through everything on the van and nothing was a hassle. Looking forward to many adventures! Would highly recommend Spartan, and once you've seen the end product they produce you'll be sold too.

Just collected our T6.1 campervan from Spartan and can only say just what a great experience it has been. Initial contact with Simon, he dealt with with my numerous questions in a thoroughly professional but friendly manner. No query was too much trouble. We then visited the showroom in Coventry to view a particular van which we were shown around extensively with no pressure to commit. Picked it up yesterday, the build quality is first class and all the team at Spartan were highly knowledgeable and most helpful. Simon dealt with us directly from first contact to handover and I can’t praise him high enough. Would have no hesitation is recommending this company.

Just taken delivery of our first Camper from Spartan - if like us, you are new to this, then try them. After shopping around we decided on Spartan - and delighted we did. There were 3 very key area's that gave us confidence.
1. They fully appreciate this is a significant purchase and never ever pressurised us - quite the opposite which we liked.
2. All staff were helpful and treat you like a valued customer.
3. They are "campers" and between them have years of valuable knowledge.

We picked up our camper 2nd September. The process from start to finish was outstanding.
We booked a visit to view two campers we liked online. When we arrived we had a warm welcome from Kevin and made very welcome. We had a tour of the conversion process, was very good to see the team in action and the quality of the work. We ended up putting a deposit on a completely different van and have no regrets. The handover day was with Si and went very smooth and informative.
If you are looking for a camper, Spartan is the place you will find it.

We first met Lee from Spartan Campers at the Norfolk Show when we were looking for our very first VW campervan. From the moment we spoke to him, he was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what he does.

He took the time to explain everything to us, answered all our questions and somehow managed to make us fall in love with a campervan that very same day!

We then travelled to Coventry to design and personalise our van, and the whole team there were just as fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble; they listened to exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond to make sure the van was perfect for us.

As first-time campervan owners, the whole process could have felt quite daunting, but Lee and the team made it exciting and enjoyable from beginning to end.

Getting the full tour around the conversion spaces was brilliant and we got to fully understand and appreciate the work that goes into each Spartan Camper. Just bought a spartan and it broke down and went wrong costing thousands be warned they are terrible qualkty

Venturing into the world of camper van life was a new experience and with very little knowledge we put our complete trust in Spartan. After viewing the showroom and workshop looking at the craftsmanship and high specification build we knew we had picked the right guys to purchase from. From start to finish all the guys were fantastic, no hard sell needed and nothing was too much trouble. We picked the colour and interior as well as extras including tracking and immobiliser and couldn't be happier. All thats left to do is go on adventure in ‘Jeanie’ our bespoke VW Camper and we can do so with the trust and knowledge that we have purchased an exceptional camper from Spartan. We cant thank them enough.

After many years of researching VW campervan builds I discovered Spartan Campers. The reviews were great with lots of comments about a good after sales service, so I decided to drive 100+ miles to take a look. I was not disappointed, the team were friendly, knowledgable and there was no hard sales line. I immediately knew that this was the company I wanted to buy from. Just over 2 months later after choosing the base van and my custom build I collected my dream van. The build quality is amazing with great attention to detail and I am so happy with it. A genuine 11-month review of Spartan Campers

We’ve now had our campervan from Spartan Campers for 11 months, and I deliberately waited before writing this review. I wanted to give an honest and accurate opinion based on actually owning and using the van, rather than writing a review while still excited on handover day.

I first contacted Spartan over a year ago and was shown around the factory by Kevin. There was absolutely no pressure, and to be honest, the van and the quality of the work sold itself.

When handover day finally arrived, Mark took the time to explain everything to us. As first-time campervan owners, we had a lot to learn, and we were made to feel completely looked after — including our dog!

We’ve had a few little issues along the way, as you probably do with any vehicle, but every one has been dealt with quickly and without any fuss. Spartan really do go above and beyond for their customers.

A big thank you to Kevin and Mark, and also a massive thank you to Gaz, who has been brilliant as well.

We’ve learnt a lot over the last 11 months — carry spare fuses, keep a small toolkit with you, don’t overload the inverter, and plenty of other little things you only learn once you start using a campervan!

But probably the biggest lesson of all is never be in a rush when you have a campervan — just enjoy the ride. 😂

We absolutely love our van and have had some fantastic times in it already. We’re looking forward to many more adventures and can’t wait for next year’s Campervan Camp Out!

Spartan built my camper kombi for me 2 years ago and I absolutely adore it, the conversion is great and designed around my wants and needs nothing was too much trouble, my sliding bed system my mobile electric system that travels with bed is awesome. Spartan also did my body kit and wheels too and the finish was better than expected, especially how they blended the bumper attachment was seamless . I've been back a couple times for new bits adding i.e. Fiamma awning and Reimo rail sport seat upgrade the list goes on, next upgrade is solar panel see you soon Spartan.

Excellent information on our first enquiry - given a tour of the premises and met the guys going the conversion, all great. Handover was excellent, Fraser was really helpful.

We first met the Spartan team at Newbury motorhome show back in May and were really impressed by the quality of the builds and how friendly and knowledgeable Joe and the team were when we spoke to them.
We checked out their website and other van designs and soon booked a visit to their showroom and workshops in Coventry. Was really good to be able to see how the vans are put together by their talented team.
We really loved being able to customise the van colours inside and out and would recommend the company to all our family and friends.

Delighted with our VW T6 LWB from Spartan. From the moment we first discovered Spartan we’ve had nothing but friendly, excellent service, nothing was too much trouble and we were given regular updates of each stage of the conversion.
The hand over was very thorough and we know they are on the end of the phone should we ever need them.
The people that work there are campers themselves and so are full of lots of helpful tips and advice.
Have looked at a few other conversions and Spartan really do seem to be the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of converted vans, the quality is superb, everything has been carefully thought out and at a very reasonable price.
Other Spartan owners give top tips and advice on their FB page, it’s like being part of a big family.
Without any doubt we feel we have made the right choice choosing Spartan Campers.

Just had my Van converted by the guys at Spartan what an awesome experience here.
The quality is outstanding.

My husband had been following Spartan online (he was very impressed with their website) for around 8 months (before being in a position to purchase a camper) and he chose the company to do the conversion as they had such positive reviews. We arranged a visit to Coventry and were shown around the factory and taken through every step of the conversion process. Mark was very helpful; he proved to be knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions as well as going through the various options to enable us to customise our van.
On pick up day, Mark met us at the station and went through the workings of the van during the in-depth handover procedure. We were delighted with every aspect of our van and enjoyed getting used to it on the long drive home!
If you buy from Spartan, you will not be disappointed.

After considering a campervan for 12 months, we visited a local show where Spartan Campers were exhibiting. From the off we were impressed by the presentation of the campervans on display and meeting the owner of the company. Fast forward 2 weeks and we visited the factory / showroom in Coventry where Mark gave us the royal tour and behind the scenes of how these amazing vehicles are constructed. With full confidence we actually purchased one that was for sale that met our needs in both design and functionality. Fast forward again and collection day. Mark again who has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process including the handover. His knowledge and passion for the brand and campervanning is incredible. We now have a beautiful Spartan Campervan with miles of smiles ahead of us. A huge thank you to Mark, Kev and the team for helping two newbies throughout the whole process.
