SPARROWNOW ARE SCAMMERS

Well at the start we were denied like many others while having 3x the amount required in our bank. After a long process we're approved and moved in. House was overgrown with weeds which we fixed. Many things happened while we were there. All their appliances barely worked. Microwave almost caught on fire, AC went out multiple times. Dishwasher was rusting and pieces would just fall off. We kept the house in amazing condition their move out inspector said while we had 15 days left to stay there. No holes at all in walls, did not paint, cleaned everything. It was better than when we moved in. We did carpet cleaning as well as pest inspection which they required. (We know they did not as there was cockroaches when we moved in) but after all this they kept our deposit of 2500 on top of wanting their whole house painted ($3750) worth of painting. I took before and after photos and will be taking this farther to get my money back from these scammers. I sent a dispute to their charges. Their property managers do not answer their phone nor respond back to voice-mail. To add to this, they keep the utility bills in their name. It seems each month is made up numbers, we paid it and always on time. On our moveout statement as well it says extra charges for utilities through months January to April. How can there be extra made up chanrges when bills are always paid. Stay far away from SparrowNow!

THIVES,CRIMINALS,DO NOT RENT FROM…

THIVES,CRIMINALS,DO NOT RENT FROM SPARROW THIS PEOPLE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS AND LIARS, been there resident for a year! My base rent was $1995 a year later my rent is $2887 but no one can explain why, they collude with there mantainance team to steal and reap of there residents,they make you pay for roof leakages and any breakage to … l have attachments to prove this people are thieves l have had. A bad experience hopefully someone else don’t go through that.

FALSELY DENIED THEN PRICE RAISED! ALSO SCAMMING FOR HOLDING/APP FEES!

I along with multiple people who applied are being denied purposefully for the gain of admin fees/holding fees or because of shady practices. This location has received multiple applications and interest to the property immediately after it was posted. Property: 1721 Pat Garrett Street Charlotte, NC

It started off with Myself and 1 other applied on one application. I've done a walk through of the property and decided to apply. As I was in the process of paying for it, I received an error screen. Apparently someone else had got the property before me. Few days later the property got listed again so I and one other person immediately applied. We were denied immediately and suggested to add others to the application in addition, 2 others were added and we all were denied.

Out of curiosity we tested to see if my aunt would be approved so she applied with my help separately and was asked and submitted multiple documents, from marriage certification to passport. She was asked to take a picture holding the documents as well. She was asked to provide 4 months of bank statements on top of connecting Trueworks to her Paycom. Everything done without a problem. She was then told she needed to add someone else to the application because the funds weren't sufficient enough. We let them know she didn't want to add anyone else and that she also has part time work but there was no where on the application to add it. We submitted her check stubs and were told that she is denied due to being "unable to verify the validity of the details provided".

IMMEDIATELY after the denial the price was raised on the property from $2,290 to $2,895. We believe this is shady business practices along with possible breaking housing laws. BTW her house is paid off with no major expenses and all of our combined incomes reaches well over 3x rent. Can easily be approved for BUYING a home else where but not renting from Sparrow??

Aunts house is paid off with no major expenses and has all of the proof of income but still denied. 2 applicants on the other application combined makes $25,000 to $30,000 monthly But we are all being denied.

I believe if we were to investigate and see the other applications for that specific property there would be a pattern amongst the applicants. I am 100% certain my aunt meets all the requirements and thats really how I knew something wasnt right.. Then raising the price by +$600 more monthly less then 1 hour of the denial?
