Shockingly bad!!
Despite providing all of my details including card numbers I have been unsuccessful in getting a single one of these chargers to work. The app won’t start the charger, the guest mode doesn’t work, the website doesn’t work. How in 2023 can such a poor network get away with supplying product and services!!

Avoid at all costs
I would give zero stars if I could. Used it with difficulty on several occasions and wanted to cancel. Can't cancel on the website or app, customer services are awful and can't connect you to someone who can close the account or change your staus
Terrible service
Terrible service - this should get zero stars! Tried using the charge point twice - it didn’t work despite being given the instructions to ‘plug in’. SourceLondon have, however, taken x2 £49 payments out of my account, which I’m told will take 7-10 days to repay. Don’t be tempted to use!
Terrible - charges £49 and then doesn’t work
Terrible experience trying Source London chargers today. After a nightmare doending 20 minutes trying to sign up to their website, they billed me £49 and the charge point failed to work. Now I’m out of pocket £49 with no refund and no electricity in my car! Useless.
Appalling
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Source London is the very worst charging system I have encountered. Confusing, unreliable, slow, complicated and expensive. No council should be installing this system
Absolutely rubish
Absolutely rubish. Have 3 chargers by the home. Tried first time all three and none worked. It had green line to start and after reserving £49 pounds on the card went into maintenance mode. Totaly had 4 x £49 reserved and it might take 7-10 days to get money back. Source London shouldnot be operating at all in myopinion. Disgusting.
Have been using the resident membership…
Have been using the resident membership for over 6 months, no issues at all. Very simple and straightforward - just connect the cable and tap the membership card. But I do think having the membership card on the app is much easier.
I have read some reviews and I believe…
I have read some reviews and I believe many people have had the same issue as myself. I tried charging twice on one of the pods this morning so circa £100 out of my account. Then when having to try a different pod it worked. Therefore, I do not understand why your system does not pick the errors and refund straight away. I use ubitricity very frequently and whenever there are any errors they refund back within minutes if not seconds. I believe as a company you should be investing in better technology in regards to payments as from reading a few of the reviews it all seems the same problem.
Following on from my review on the 19th…
Following on from my review on the 19th April 2023,I have today received my £49 back. This took 31 days in total. I had to send emails, phone calls and losing my temper for it to happen. What Source London do not tell you in their website, is that if the transaction fails because the charger was faulty, you will have to wait up to 31 days for your money to automatically return to your account.
Source London need to follow Instavolt’s example. If the charger fails to deliver the electricity to the vehicle, the charger ought to automatically cancel the transaction. Instead Source London take your £49 regardless of whether you received the service or not. Then you as the customer have to spend 4 weeks fighting them to get your money back. I can only hope that whoever gave Source London the contract, never renews it. I have never experienced such disgusting service in my life. Absolutely the worse company.
Horrendous service
I wish I had read the reviews before using this service. In a word "horrendous"
There was a problem with your charging point. You charged me 3x£49 on the the 27/04/23. I have spoken to your customer service team 4 times and they've told me the have sent a reverse request to my bank tor refund my money. I called my bank to check, they have told me the reverse refund request is for 2x £0.00. These were sent on 04/05/23.
I was close to signing up to your service as a member as I've just bought an electric car and you have a charging point on my road. But thought I'd trial your pay as you go system first. I can honestly say I'm appalled at the level of service I've been provided with.
I have asked someone from management to contact me about my issue. It'd been 12 days. Still nothing.
I tried twice to connect on April 3
I tried twice to connect on April 3, but it failed. I paid a deposit of £49 both times, which are still blocked on my card (May 1). Despite contacting customer services, I await some action. Not impressed!
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service! Numerous occasions when charging points or my Source London card have failed to work. When I’ve raised the issues it takes ages for them to respond and then they fail to answer my points. My most recent issue involved me on the phone to their customer service agent for 20 mins while she was trying to reset the charging point. At the end of it I said I’ve been charged an idle fee for all this. She told me she would send through a request for the refund. A month later I got a rubbish email basically saying no.
Can’t wait until there’s more competition and everyone can choose to not use then!

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Failed to send a new charging card within the period they promised. Then spent additional time querying the order and sending verbose emails with irrelevant details in them. The card still hasn't arrived over 3 weeks after it was ordered.

Frustratingly poor service
Attempted to charge my car twice but the charging failed each time, however, two transactions of £49 left my account. I immediately called and asked for a refund. They refused, and 10 days later I'm still owed the refund. I've just called and they blamed my bank. My complaint has allegedly been escalated to the 'back office' but they wouldn't let me speak to anyone directly. Poor experience all round. I should have read the one star reviews before attempting to use their charging point.
Terrible tech and even worst customer service
Signed up in March 2022 but stopped using their service in August. Despite repeated attempts to cancel the subscription (which can't be cancelled via the app or the online portal) it was next to impossible to do so. Call in to cancel and they made me jump through hops and reconfirm hoping that I forget and they continue to get their subscription money.
Spoke with a customer agent who was very rude and disconnected the call mid way. Rude, Rubbish and destined to be overtaken by a competitor in the very near future if they don't sort this out. All the best Source London ...
Absolutely awful
Terrible customer experience. When you have a few failed attempts it keeps charging a whopping £49 which then sits as ‘pending’ in your bank account for 10 days!! Why £49 pounds?? It never cost me £49 to charge my car in the first place. Awful. Also, my plastic card got chipped and there is nowhere on the app that you can actually order a replacement card. I emailed, and absolutely 0 response. Such a source of aggravation.
Worst charging network
Worst charging network
Can’t pay via contactless and their system is soo sH**t
Problems
Problems! Problems! Problems!
Chargers do not recognise my card. Customer Services don’t answer when you call to report a problem. Way too expensive. Transaction issues every time payments are due.
All these issues need to be fixed quickly or I’m walking and would deter EV drivers from choosing this service.
Failed charge led to £130 parking fee!
I've had issues getting parking to work in worship street. After 3 attempts it successfully authorised and I could charge.
I locked the car and turned away but the charger stopped a minute later and my car sat there, not charging, till the parking officer rocked up and slapped me with a £130 fine!
Cheers for the experience
