Scooters are amazing I have a p1 3.0 and it is fantastic maybe it could be more durable for the price as certain things break easily and are not cheap but speed doesn’t disappoint and the repair team are fantastic fixed my scooter in 2 days and sent it back right away and always keeping me updated with the repair and adding a lot of stuff for free

Pre-ordered a £2400 scooter, was delayed 5 total times, arrived after a 7 month wait.

Scooter was faulty from day one, broken lights, cosmetic wear, missing bolts etc.

Rode in light rain once for a short duration, scooter deck was flooded, suffering water damage despite an IP66 rating when advertising (can sustain jet washes). Suspect that the lack of mudguards caused water to spray into the small holes as there was no effort to make any water resistance where wires go to and from the motors to the battery.

False advertisement was removed from the website after this fact, they refuse a refund because I voided my warranty with water damage despite their water resistance rating being a complete lie and a selling point for me initially.

Scooter has never been close to it's advertised top speed, simply lacks the power as the components get bottle-necked.

Had a motor issue/error also I cracked my rear rim brought a new one the team fitted it and sorted the error out Bought it into the warehouse and had it fixed same day! Now back to riding. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received and the guys at solar are amazing at what they do

Great company went above and beyond to help me with my oroblem

I purchased my solar P1 a year and 3 months ago and it been a wonderful scooter. It stopped working 3days ago and the very helpful people at solar scooter have been brilliant in helping me sort it out. They are sending a new controller free of charge. Well done for their wonderful service

My main thing was the portability and having a local service shop.

Solar was perfect I picked the scooter up and the team was very helpful in explaining how everything works and I can lift my P1 with ease

I have a really poor experience with solar scooters

Their website clearly states prices include UK VAT (20%). However, they invoiced me the full amount (2400 pound) even tho its being shipped internationally. As a result, I had to pay VAT again upon import, increasing the total cost by over €500.

Despite multiple emails to their support, the company failed to correct the reported value or address the issue with FedEx, leading to double taxation. Customer support responded promptly but showed little understanding and did not take responsibility for the mistake.

I recommend caution when ordering from Solar Scooters, especially if you're outside the UK, due to their poor handling of taxes and import fees.

Awaiting the replacement parts they are sending me to get my scooter back working.. once i receive it ill alter my review further.....
My controller arrived and I've been sent 5 different diagrams and videos and still not match the part connections on my scooter... Told to superglue broken things at 5days old.
Told warranty was voided because I followed there instruction video on sim installation for the gps.. I've been trying to get the issues fixed.. due to water getting in for 3months still no joy... Time to try and get my money back legally... As there customer services just seem to only be helpful if your sending them money.... DONT EVER BUY.....
THE 1 AND 2 STAR REVIEWS ARE TAKEN OFF BY THEM BLACKMAILING CUSTOMERS TO REMOVE THEM.... I WISH PEOPLE HAD THE BALLS I HAVE NOW TO JUST LEAVE MY REVIEW ON FOR EVERYONE TO SEE FULLY.... CHECK SOME OF THE FACEBOOK GROUPS AND CHATS AND YOULL FIND PROBLEMS EVERYWHERE.... scooter was Ff 2.0.... :)scooter i bought that it says is ip66 rated has been seriously effected and damaged throughout the majority of the internal wiring and connections by normal usage in our normal uk weather... I had issues from day 3 when the rear indicators came apart from there rubbery stalk like a bad choice of material the way it had broken.. they said could i not glue it back together.. that was there answer to me asking if they would send me a replacement for it... Now im trying to get them to replace a motor controller thats died and they want me to pay for it... I followed there guide videos when i set up the scooter and installed a sim in the gps... But they say i voided the warranty by doing that and now im stuck with 3k of badly made and wrongly advertised scooter that i wish i never even laid eyes on.... Its awful how they have been blamin me for there bad product and having no contact number to get them on in the uk is shocking but i see why they dont now... It would be a constant complaints line.

It’s the best scooter money can buy it is very fast fast acceleration I’m heavy and it is very fast I went 56 mph I went 30 in 3 seconds hills are nothing this scooter is a beast
