Installing solar with Ovo Solar & Heating South Coast has been one of the best investments I’ve made as a homeowner. From the initial consultation through to installation and aftercare, the whole process was seamless and incredibly well managed.

Every member of the team—from Sales and Operations to Customer Service and Aftercare—was knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The savings are already clear, and there’s a genuine return on the investment.

My only regret is not doing it sooner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ovo Solar & Heating South Coast to anyone considering solar.

Getting the installation/commissioning and and related communication was a dream. Fantastic team of people and second to none.
However, switching to OVO as supplier is not seamless or straightforward. Although my switch date is 14 August I'm getting daily reminders to sign up to SEG (which I can't do as my account isn't active til switch date) and I find out it takes 28 days for SEG to take effect i.e. getting paid for the electricity I export. There is an obvious disconnect between sales, billing, and someone who can simply join the dots to give the customer a seamless and hassle free experience. I'm sure it will get sorted, but I spoke to an advisor yesterday regarding SEG and was under the impression it was all sorted. However I've received another email just now asking me to sign up to SEG which doesn't inspire confidence!

Contacted OVO Solar & Heating for an estimate and was supplied 3 Options (all at very competitive prices)
Work was organised following my choice of system required. Scaffolding supplied on date confirmed and the installation completed within 2 days.
All fitting staff were professional and discussed the installation and answered all my questions and cleaned up the working area and disposed of all packaging for recycling.

My husband and I have just had a Heat Pump, Hot Water Cylinder and 4 radiators supplied and fitted by Jonathon and his team.

From initial contact, the communication and advice was first class and we felt entirely comfortable choosing them to provide the service. On the job itself, the team were absolutely brilliant in every way, dealing with issues that arose, keeping us informed and generally just getting on with the job with minimal intrusion. We were really impressed by the quality of the workmanship, the tidying and cleaning on completion, and the care and attention they took around my restricted mobility, recovering from a broken hip.

The whole experience was friendly and simply made you feel this was a company you could trust.

The whole experience was easy, the only thing I would say is to start the process of getting your export account set up as soon as you get the installation date so you benefit immediately from the exporting

A local company. Approachable and friendly. Explained the products well. Tradesmen appeared on time and completed what they had to do.

The installation was done by Wright Renewable Heating in Worksop, who I approached directly for a quote. From quote to installation went smoothly with them keeping me in the loop along the way. The installation team arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They were friendly and happy to explain everything as they went along. When they finished they tidied up and left the area spotless.

We can honestly think of no negatives in our experience of purchasing a heat pump from OVO Solar &Heating! From initial conversation, survey, quotation breakdown (a grant is available and applied for on our behalf making it extremely easy) arranging fitting and the fitting itself (engineers were efficient and respectful). The system is currently installed, no mess, very quiet, and working well but after-installation calls assure us that if it doesn’t work as it should at any time we must let them know immediately - all of which further inspires the confidence we’ve felt throughout our dealings with them. We’d have no reservations in recommending Ivan and his team.

When buying, leading up to and including installation they were fantastic....2 years on and just outside their fitting warranty they couldnt care less. My wife and I are disabled and the system has failed. Because givenergy went bankrupt, the 25 year warranty is void. They expect us to source an independent solar specialist to perform a full inspection of the system at our cost before they will do anything to help us. They do not have enough engineers and when the system fails they do not want to know. They take days to reply to emails. Really really poor service. We are still paying the finance on a system that is not working. So not generating power or exporting.costing me.dearly every day its not repaired.

OVO are still supplying and fitting Solar panels country wide so I cannot understand why they have not supplied me with a list of solar experts that they are obviously still using, that are in my area, so that I can contact them to arrange an inspection and diagnosis. Aweful service.

From initial request for a quotation through to full install has been seamless. Paul from OVO Solar was very informative and knowledgeable guiding us through the options to make the right choices. Ryan, the installation qualified supervisor carried out the survey and managed the entire install, keeping us informed at all stages paying particular to the aesthetics for a professional finish and finally Sophie who has been continuously communicating with us in the lead up to and post install to make sure everything was ok. We had reservations with a national power company, but they were quickly dismissed, very professional quick and friendly service, we would wholeheartedly recommend them based on our experience with them.

1. So happy about our solar installation. OVO are super professional about everything they do.
2. The cost to install 18 panel, the 11.5 kWh battery and the inverter was a no brainier when we received the quote.
3. Brings a smile to your face every time you look at the Smart meter and the only cost is the day rate 52p.
4. All the guys that came to the house were polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Top team.

From start to finish the service has been fantastic! All staff were friendly and helpful and the solar panel installation went very smoothly. I'm more than happy with the end product. First class!

Ovo SW installed 23 solar panels and a battery and did a fantastic job. We had four quotes and Ovo were head and shoulders above the rest, both in terms of competetive pricing and also in catering for what we needed/wanted from the system (whilst not just being "yes men"). From beginning to end, Paul, Ryan, Sophie and the rest of the team have been professional, friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. They were happy to contacted any time to guide us through the process and it really felt like they had our best interests at heart and wanted to ensure the quality of the end product. We've had our panels on for a few months now, and we are really pleased with the end product. Thanks so much!

Wright Renewables provided an excellent service throughout the project. From design to installation all their staff were superb communicators, price was excellent in comparison to other quotes, friendliness and workmanship quality wise they are unbeatable – Nothing was too much and my input was valued throughout. If your thinking of investing in renewables look no further than Wrights!
