I was served by Tony in Dreams…

I was served by Tony in Dreams Coleraine, and couldn't have been happier with the service. As a sales advisor he wasn't pushy and allowed me time and space to look around, in the knowledge that he was available if I needed help. He was polite and courteous and knew about the products on offer.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company, well more the extremely poor customer service department. Staff in Bangor showroom are very good but unfortunately the customer service care is absolutely appalling. Where do I start..... well we purchased outright a sofa, this arrived last year and was faulty from the start. We should've taken a refund at that point but decided perhaps we would give them another go and try a completely different sofa. Well next this brand new sofa arrived 6 months later and again this went faulty after a very short time. After several failed attempts to repair it, the engineer wrote his report to the customer service department stating a new sofa would be required. So again we waited on another replacement sofa, this now being the third one... well surprise, surprise this went faulty after a short period of time. This time having had 3 faulty sofas we asked for a full refund. Oh no we were told, you wont be getting a full refund as you have had use of 3 faulty sofas. We were offered yet again another sofa with the purchase price plus a credit of £750 or a replacement sofa or a partial refund with a loss of £985..... Now why anyone would risk a 4th sofa, considering 3 were all faulty. Customer service would not negotiate and basically said take it or leave it. Absolutely appalling the girl was who was dealing with this problem. Maybe the customer care team should take lessons from the shop staff in Bangor on how to actually deal with customers. Word of mouth goes a long way. Buy at your peril!

Interesting reply , strange how we gave you ample opportunities to come to a satisfactory resolution but yet you refused at every request. Make it public and you reply with that. Ridiculous customer service.

Great customer service

Great customer service at Sofatime!

Fantastic experience ordering our new sofa. Tanya at the Newtownabbey store talked us through different options, not only for the sofa itself but payment and interest free options. She was very friendly and courteous, offering us tea/coffee while we sat together discussing everything. Would highly recommend Sofatime. Can't wait for our delivery. Thank you Tanya!

No contact, no delivery date. Promised 7-10 days

We bought a corner suite on the 2nd of January with Adam in the Boucher Road store. He couldn’t make the sale quickly enough. Advised us that the sofa was in stock, including console and delivery would be arranged in 7-10 days. I called the store around 8 times throughout the course of the day on 7th January to speak with Adam as we have heard nothing regarding delivery and was advised by a colleague that Adam was not in today but he assured me he would ask him to call me first thing on the 8th January. Well, as suspected, no call was received. I’ve called today, 9th January several times and no answer. I’ve also emailed customer care, with no response.

We are aware that delivery to our location is Wednesday and Thursday only. We are a two adult home who both work and need to take time off work to receive our new purchase. We need forewarning. We were also made aware that once it’s at the warehouse, they will need to get it gone as they don’t have the space to store additional suites. Disappointed is an understatement. The company were more than happy to take our money and make a quick sale but we are no further forward in understanding when we will receive our new sofa, nor can we arrange disposal of our current sofa.

5-star experience!!

We had the pleasure of going to the Coleraine store tpday. Shirley was absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and was great at answering all our questions. There was no pressure to buy anything and overall a 5 star experience. Great customer swevice.

Jonny in Newtownabbey- Amazing customer service.

Jonny in Newtownabbey was amazing and so helpful in us finding our dream sofa. Was super chatty and friendly and kept us really well informed and dealt with any queries we had. We were in other sofa places and were ignored where as Jonny came over to us straight away and was really helpful. Thank you so much Jonny 🙂

Don’t delivery when promised and zero communications.

Really poor customer service. Ordered a sofa in October promised guaranteed delivery by Xmas. Zero communications through the 2 months and received a bland email a week before Xmas saying it won’t be delivered until January now. The showroom, was supposed to contact me with more details, heard nothing. Lies to get the sales, zero communications. I would avoid.

Ordered a sofa start of oct asked would…

Ordered a sofa start of oct asked would it arrive before xmas was promised it would probably last week in nov first week in dec an this was by the manager in craigavon no sign of it by start of dec so phoned store was told middle of dec went over 18th dec and was told it wont be coming to after xmas even though I informed them at the start I was going on holiday in jan thats why I needed it delivered before xmas and I have already paid for it stil havent got a date customer care is woeful never again
