I paid $65.99 for the “family” sized box and the “10 extra items and a drink” upgrade. I received 6 items total. And NO DRINK ! I’ve reached out three times I made my partner open the box early as this was gonna be a valentines gift because my gut knew the box looked tiny !! Whatever you do trust the reviews.
Update: they have since sent me a “corrected box” I still feel as though you don’t get as much as advertised it’s okay for the novelty one purchase. Everything in the box was super tiny but I guess it’s a ok way to “try” different snacks from another place. You’re better off picking things you would actually enjoy ☹️

This whole experience has been horrible. When I signed up, they promised Christmas delivery with a Christmas crate with a 12-month subscription. They didn't deliver the Dec package until Jan 18, and as of Jan 30, still havent mailed the January package. I spoke with Ken and their customer support is a joke and has had an excuse for everything. First, it was held up due to holiday mail. This month they say they had a snow storm that lasted two days. They take zero accountability for their lack of timeliness. Avoid at all costs. Buy a Munchie or International Crate instead and avoid the hassle of chasing orders every month

I ordered a box November 30th and was already charged December 1st which I understand why because it’s a monthly thing. When I asked to cancel December they said no problem. Well come January I was charged twice. Once for December and once for January. I had emailed multiple representatives and was told I would get a refund and a free crate. When contacting my bank they told me snackcrate tried to charge me 2 more times after already getting money in the same month. You can’t cancel once you sign up and even if you ask to skip a month they still charge you. It’s been almost a month and I can’t get my refund. They’ve sent me screenshots of an “attempted” refund but I haven’t gotten my money. The fact you can’t speak to anyone and have to explain everything over email is absolutely INSANE. The crates are also extremely underwhelming.

I’m very disappointed. I ordered a special additional Holiday Crate as a Christmas present for my son in November so I would be sure to have it in time.
I sent them an email a week before Christmas worried because I hadn’t received it yet. I got this reply from customer service:
Because you took advantage of the Holiday Crate offer, you are guaranteed to receive your Holiday SnackCrate (and your December SnackCrate!) before Christmas.
A week before Christmas and I hadn’t been notified that it had even shipped yet. I wrote back 2 days before Christmas asking where it was and I didn’t receive an answer.
Christmas came and went and I wrote back again and was told they didn’t make it out in time and I would get a $10 credit off my next crate.
I received my December crate today 1/2/2025 but NO Holiday crate.
What good is ordering a holiday crate when you receive it AFTER Christmas and New Years???
Not falling for it again next holiday time.
Please do better! $40 down the drain.

I am a new customer, my first box was in November and arrived around thanksgiving. I then was sent an email for a holiday crate add-on that if confirmed before Dec.1 was guaranteed for xmas delivery. I have been charged for that and my December monthly box... to date as of Dec. 31 I have not received either. NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS, since Dec. 19. They shutdown online chat, and have no phone number to call. DO NOT do business with them.
Update: it is Jan. 2 my order has still.not shipped, finally was able to chat customer service they offered a $10 credit... even though they failed Christmas delivery or even my.monthly box to be shipped in Decemeber. I was to have had 2 monthly boxes and a special.holiday box by now... and nothing. I have cancelled my subscription.

I ordered a SnackPack which said a full sized drink and a snack. Well I got my drink which was an Iron Brew which I'm a huge fan of but I didn't get my snack. I got charged $7 for that snackpack and to only get a drink is a huge let down. Especially since I didn't get the coffee candy that I had already paid $4 for before it got sold out. So as of right now I have disabled my auto renewal and I'm just waiting for my last SnackCrates to arrive since I don't have a reason to stay as a SnackCrate customer anymore. Plus the constant emails that I have to send instead of talking to someone is making me wanna try Universal Yums instead since it takes days to receive a response to my emails and I've sent 4 now 5 of them.

I started my SnackCrate subscription in September. First box was great. For the October box, I decided to order add-ons. I paid extra. The box didn’t come. They said it was delayed due to dock strikes. They said it would come in November. I paid for add-ons for the next box as well. November came and went and I still didn’t receive any boxes. I emailed customer service in November trying to get more information. They gave me an estimated date of November 20th. The date came and went and no news on both boxes. Tried to cancel my subscription. Got charged early December, still no news on boxes. Attempted to email again, email bounced. Feeling scammed. I just got a box and it was only two things of cookies that I added on in October. Nothing else. Still no news on my October or November boxes. Now no word on my December box either. I’m pretty upset.

Paid for express delivery in 1-3 days… it is now 6 days and no shipping, tracking or response from this company.
10/10 : DON’T Recommend!
I have sent 3 emails with no response!

I paid for priority shipping my December crate or bonus Christmas crate was suppose to arrive by christmas , its been over a week my crate hasnt been packed or shipped out yet. This will be my first and LAST month. I will be cancelling you will not be charging my account next month when i didnt receive anything this month. If you cant keep up with the order loads then stop advertising sales making the experience worse as if you can. Its false advertising and a greedy business practice. Do better!!
Update 12/27/24
If i could take my star back & give a negative i would. Cause your response is a blatantly lie. I know what the website said because its literally the only reason i ordered it. Why would i want a holiday bundle after the holidays? Make it make sense!! Ive contacted support with no help besides being told i need to wait longer than the allotted amount of time & my crate STILL hasnt shipped. If you think youre going to charge my account for next month when both boxes for this month are missing youre going to be sadly mistaken i will be contacting my bank & reporting fraud.

Reviews is what makes or breaks a company I get it so honesty is best never cool to write a bad review because you are but hurt or just down right impatient this is my honest review of snack create
Pros
1. Support is absolutely amazing they take customer service above and beyond whole heartedly and the thing I like the most is it’s not some scripted bs it’s actual real people with real replies not some corporate mumbo jumbo
2. The snacks are good I didn’t get a box of nasty stuff or really odd flavors don’t get me wrong some odd is good and sometimes they included those
The cons
Shipping and support is slow BUT!! Just have some patience they are humans not robots they don’t have 100k employee so it’s gonna take some time
With that being said I was actually initially planned on closing my account when I got my first box because it asked me what countries I wanted I selected everything but North/South America
I was prompted to start with UK but I declined and chose the mystery one for my first box well I truly was under the impression since I declined UK it would be something more exotic Japan china Africa etc well I got Brazil and I’ve had snacks from them so many times from other providers I did select the mystery one so I do accept some responsibility for it but I truly thought it wouldn’t select the 2 continents that I specifically said I did not want but I reached out to support it took a bit but I was not in a rush nor was I mad or rude in my mind I thought it was a error with the process to be honest but support truly went above and beyond and made it right better than other snack providers on the market right now and because of that I am going to continue my subscription with them for the next year and more to come
A special thank you and shout out to
Fritz Bouche | Support Specialist
for really going above and beyond and being so kind
Merry Christmas and happy new years

I love travel and wanted to try the snacks from different Countries. Things were going great until September. They automatically deduct from my account around 5th of each month.y September box arrived the 27th of October ( over a month late). I have yet to receive anything for October and November (it's been paid for). I have requested a refund and cancel subscription. They have emailed the past 4-6 weeks that box is on the way. One excuse after another. I just want my money back and get away from this company.

I love SnackCrate! I love how you can either choose which box you want or you can go with the monthly box.
I got them yesterday and I was surprised to see South Korea and Canada boxes. I understand why the boxes were late. I am just happy I got them :)
I have gotten 4 boxes so far and I can't wait for more!

I cancelled the membership because i never received all of the first box. Why would i continue to pay for more subscriptions and the first one was incomplete! I also got different information from different people within the company! I spoke to 3 different people and everybody said it was on the way and 2 months later i was told it wasn’t going to be delivered because i cancelled the subscription! You guys have to do better when we’re spending our money on items we can find in the store!

I’ve emailed to check on my status for November with the holiday crate and December orders just to get an automated reply.. the only time I was able to speak with someone on the chat was on 12/4/24 and told that my order would ship on 12/12/24 and receive tracking information… still nothing and no way to contact them for an immediate response now January payment is right around the corner also.. this was the only thing my 10 yr old daughter asked for specifically in her letter to Santa and he wrote back telling her that if she was good she get them all year… now how do I explain that !!! So I’m trying to keep hope and faith in the company that they will magically show up.. I understand that there issues with the ports but I also know locals that I was referred by that have received their orders…

I signed up in August, this is December and I still haven’t received one thing from SnackCrate despite paying for 3 consecutive months for nothing. They won’t cancel my membership and refund my money despite not fulfilling their obligation to me as a paying customer. Save yourself from being ripped off and find another snack subscription.

This company is absolutely terrible at customer service and shipping. I just got Octobers snack crate in December. Novembers is nowhere to be found. I paid for an extra holiday add-on to my December snack crate. Decembers was delivered and all they did was send me another October snack crate. I have emailed them multiple times and nobody ever responds. They frequently shut off their instant messaging so you have to email them so they can ignore you. I can’t even get ahold of them to cancel my subscription. So I will be calling my bank and doing a stop payment and switching to Universal Yums. Do yourself a favor and stay away from snack crate

The biggest issue is you pay on the 5th of each month but don't get your box until the very end of the month or early the next month. I have currently paid for 3 months and received none of them. They are blaming a 3-day port strike on a 2-month plus delay. Honestly, the boxes are good, but the speed and variety of flavors is ten-fold at Universal Yums. If they fixed the payment to shipping times, it would be more enjoyable.

Not on time, don’t always get what you order. I’ve had to ask for a refund and was gaslight into thinking I got what I was owed to have to prove to them they were wrong and finally got a refund. Boxes are never on time, one from October is still not here and I’m writing this on 12/11/2024. Go with another snack company.

Received a variety of different flavors and snacks that suited the whole family. We all enjoyed it!

Received my first box. I loved the variety and the book that was included so far very pleased.
