Smooch Wedding Rings Reviews 

Now I understand that Smooch like to reply to these reviews to make themselves look like saints. I understand that they have their business to protect. But in short my fiancé's ring was not sent out when we were told it was going to be, after asking the same question multiple times I still have not received an answer, they didn't make the ring as we had asked it to be, they told us they could fix it (spoiler alert, they botched it) and then told us that time had run out so we should go elsewhere (with only FOUR days until the wedding).

My fiancé and I had chosen Smooch after meeting them at a wedding fayre. After about two months I decided to chase up the progress with our rings (as I hadn't heard anything and our wedding was now only weeks away) and received a reply that my fiancé's ring was ready but mine wasn't. Smooch had offered to send her ring out right away to which I agreed. Having been told her ring would be sent I was surprised to find out at the end of that week that Smooch hadn't sent the ring and received an email informing me that now my ring had been received from the workshop. My partner and I phoned up to check what was going on and when they were being sent, we were then assured they would be sent the next day.

Unfortunately when the rings finally arrived my fiancé and myself were not completely happy with the result. Although my ring was what I wanted, hers was not what we had asked for. We had asked for a wishbone shape with milgrain edges all the way around both sides. The ring that was delivered was a wishbone shape with a small amount of milgrain on one side. Again, we phoned and were told to send back the ring so Smooch could fix the problem.

We sent it back and asked if we could be called when it arrived. We received a call when Smooch had received the return and we had a good chat about what we wanted and were told that Smooch would take care of it (now only one week until the wedding). We asked them to send a photo of the ring before they sent it out again so we could check it's what we asked for this time. A few days later we were sent a photo of the ring with a message informing us that they had already sent out the ring.

The ring came through in the post, we were very excited, we opened the box and the excitement quickly faded. The milgrain edges that were put on the ring were not straight and finished at different lengths around the ring. As well as this, there was dirt on the ring and in the milgrain which made it look worse. We then phoned Smooch about this and were told that time has run out, that we can return the ring and go elsewhere to get a ring for our wedding. So instead of my fiancé having the perfect ring that Smooch had promised her, we have had to scramble around other jewelers in a (VERY) last stitched effort to find another ring. We both feel unbelievably let down unfortunately and ended up becoming very stressed just before our wedding day.

We understand that mistakes happen. But to be made to feel like an after thought, for Smooch to run out of time due to their mistakes and then tell us to go somewhere else to get a wedding ring is unacceptable. My fiancé was promised the ring she wanted and we were assured it would be with us with plenty of time before the wedding, neither of which happend. Only good thing I can say is I received refunds for the return postage and the ring.

Lost a stone before having the ring for 6 months, got told to have it fixed we have to insure it at our expense with their company, 3 month later lost two more stones, and at a year later lost two more. So having to buy myself a whole new ring.
My husbands ring the ‘Matt’ part rubbed away! He has an office job and I’ve been on maternity leave.

Very disappointed!

No photos were asked for, we were told to pay postage both ways and a £35 fee even though they are meant to be under warranty, and couldn’t guarantee you wouldn’t charge us more as it could be a ‘wear & tear’ issue even though I only wore my ring for 3-4 months before having to take it off due to pregnancy swelling, got put back on in Feb and lost more stones since so wouldn’t be wear & tear.
Had sizing issues before the wedding & engraving wasn’t don’t off the bat either so had to get sent back several times before we even got married.

Don’t waste your time or money with this company!

We booked our wedding ring appointment at a wedding fayre early 2025 and had our ring appointment scheduled for 13/08/25 - a year to the day we get married, which was suggested by them. After emailing to try and change our appointment time 2 weeks ago, and no response I raised a contact form online for a call back, only to be told that the guy in our local area no longer worked for the company and therefore our appointment can not go ahead. I questioned why no one has been in contact with me as the appointment is 2 weeks away and the guy on the phone just kept saying no one had picked up his appointments and there is no one local to do it, he even asked me to see if I knew of anyone who wanted a job, then proceeded to basically say it’s okay that no one has been in contact to which I reassured him it was not. I told him that we have family who have used Smooch and rave about the good experience however this is not what we were finding, he didn’t sound bothered in the slightest. I told him we would start looking on the high street for rings and again not bothered. Bad experience with customer service and communication.

Our experience from start to finish was amazing , Pauline is so helpful , kind and considerate , from coming to our home , really patient and knowledgeable about what we wanted , we ordered straight away ! She then come back to remeasure me on my request due to weight loss and brought treats for our family dog and spoiled him rotten ! And a week before the wedding we received a lovely gift and card and more Milo treats , we really feel that Pauline is a credit to the company and I do consider her a friend, she is a lovely person and will come to her in the future for any further jewellery I’d never go to anyone else other than Pauline 🩷

Had a really frustrating experience. I asked to change my ring months before it was even in production. They said I could switch to a cheaper one but would still have to pay the full original price. Claimed it was in their T&Cs—but couldn’t actually show me where. After pushing back, they finally agreed to charge me fairly. Not the stress you want when planning a wedding.

We found Smooch at Tatton Wedding Fayre, nearly 20 years ago, and had them make our beautiful wedding rings. When it came to buying an eternity ring, Smooch was the obvious choice, and we saw nothing remotely right in a large shopping centre, with many jewellers.
I was particularly keen to have natural/mined diamonds, of a similar colour and clarity to my solitaire diamond engagement ring, and was told by Stephen at Smooch, that as all rings are custom made, this would not be a problem.
After a minor, 1 day delay in delivery (Royal Mail issue, not Smooch's), the ring arrived, very safely packaged, today. It's stunning. My wedding ring has a twist, into which my solitaire fits perfectly, and I wanted an eternity ring into which my engagement ring would also snuggly fit. Our advisor, Nick, helped us by showing us a variety of rings and options, in our home, which we found to be a very pleasant experience. The outcome is EVEN better than we'd expected and the ring is all and more than we had hoped it would be. It is absolutely beautiful and compliments and enhances my other two rings. The diamonds sparkle brightly and the colours are exactly right. Can't thank Nick and Stephen and the Smooch Team enough for this lovely, lovely ring. We'd recommend them to anyone wanting a unique, or special ring. Our need to sign for the ring, sent Special Delivery, was accomodated, as we could not be at home to receive the ring when it was first ready to be sent.

I lost my wedding ring about a year ago, I kept thinking and hoping it would turn up. It hasn’t! I met Nick though Networking and was interested to see what Smooch Rings was all about. I was impressed with the number of designs available and the options to make them unique to the individual.
Once I decided to do something about replacing my wedding ring I invited Nick to come to my home. I knew I didn’t need to look anywhere else. Nick brought a great choice of rings and was very patient whilst I worked my way though to making my decision. Once that was done I just sat back and waited. Smooch HQ kept me updated and last weekend my beautiful ring was delivered.

Me and my husband used smooch from a wedding fayre. We had a home visit the rings looked tarnished in the case they brought to the house. We were reasured that they were only samples and our rings would never turn like that. We had a few problems on the run up were we were charged wrong from the quote given. I also then said I was concerned about the quality of the ring I was then reassured again on the quality. We had white gold with diamonds for both our rings. Using smooch was a massive regret after only 12 months our ring were discoloured scratch and worn. We bought replacement rings from h Samuel as we were so upset with our wedding rings. Even they were shocked with the state of our rings please avoid as it cost us double.

What a relief to try rings at home without feeling rushed or judged! I could see how they looked in normal lighting and with my everyday clothes, which made such a difference. The advisor didn't push me toward expensive options like shops always do. So much better than the jewelry store experience.

Pauline from Smooch was absolutely amazing. We first met her at a Wedding Fair and her personality shone through. She was one of the main reasons we went with Smooch! We had an appointment and she talked us through all the different options, taking her time to show us and being super helpful. Pauline is super communicative and regularly checked in to make sure we were happy and to answer all of our questions that we had. Nearer to our big day we wanted to double check sizing, and that was no problem for Pauline who came to see us once again to make sure everything was perfect. She also brought our dog some treats, just showing how much she went out of her way for us and our dog! We’re so happy with our rings and we couldn’t have done it without Pauline. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing service, came to our home to show us a bunch of amazing rings. If you’re not sure what wedding ring you want they definitely have one for everyone. My fiancé wants a very personalised ring and they were more than accommodating. They have made a very stressful time a lot easier!

We ordered our wedding rings via Smooch, our sales rep Alison was extremely friendly and helpful. When I lost my booking form she was able to send me it quickly, even after a year. Our rings arrived in plenty of time and we needed to have one adjusted. We had it back within 10 days ready to go. I cannot recommend the service enough

My ring arrived today and I was so impressed with the quality of the gold. My engagement ring did not have a matching wedding ring option so I sent it off to have the shape customised to fit. It matches perfectly. I have little diamonds to match and I love it thank you 💍

Nick was absolutely amazing! Straight away he made us both feel so at ease and even entertained our 2 and a half year old reading him stories and playing.

Just had an appointment with Ash to get our rings. We had such a massive selection to try and choose from, doing it from home wasn’t limited at all. It was so much fun trying them all on over a cup of tea! Thank you Ash, can’t wait to get the rings now!

The best! Nick was fantastic. Booking an appointment was easy and communication was friendly and quick. He came with a large variety of rings for both of us as we were looking for wedding bands, and talked us through options without being pushy at all. Very friendly service, came to our house so we could look at the selection of rings in our living room, there was no pressure to buy, we could take our time and decide what we wanted. Nice designs and a good price. Would recommend in the future

Nick was great from start to finish. He had all the information we needed to help us make the right choice for us. We could not recommend smooch or nick enough. The experience is much more comfortable we didn't feel rushed or pressured to choose nor to buy. Which I feel makes it a lot more of a comfortable and joyful experience when making this very important decision after all it's for life.
We began thinking we had a certain style in mind but with the luxury of being able to see many options, trying them on just being able to feel the different styles also having the option to tweak certain aspects to suit us personally ment we had a lot more options. Again not once did we feel rushed. Nick was amazing he listened to what we wanted showed us ring that we hadn't even really though of he had all the information to hand and let us make are decisions. There was no pushy sales. We came away having a very enjoyable, relaxed fun experience picking are wedding rings with no stress or pressure
