Working with Leslie and Diamond was a wonderful experience - super fast, very efficient and always pleasant.

Was going good until Nick came along. Pesters the heck out of us and then lets me know after one week "were going to take back this offer in a few days for inactivity as it's taking too long"... Nick, bro. We actually do other stuff around here besides get your documents ready. A week? And now it's inactivity because we have not been able to answer your endless calls for the last few days when we were slammed on other important business items? Looking for pushy arrogant people to get a loan from, I recommend Nick at Smartbiz!

Worked with James G on an MCA deal and he fumbled it through and through. Boasting of his experience, but then when deals fell through, he blamed it on my file. This is indicative of many brokers in the MCA game that beat their chest over their experience, but somehow can’t explain why files are not accepted. Quick grandstanding, and just throw the touchdown. Scoreboard is all that matters who gives a crap about your experience.

Stay away from this company. Very misleading.

I have tried since 2019 to get approved for a loan with you all and each time you and your underwriters come up with some bogus stipulations. I have tried 7 times and all 7 times SmartBiz had Denied me ….I am going to go as far as saying don’t waist your time with these people . They don’t help real businesses like mine or yours! They’re a joke and they will get all of your paperwork and string you along for weeks just to come back and say you don’t meet the criteria!!!! They knew that all along !!! I will make sure I tell everyone I know and it’s a lot of people not to deal with these people, they will just waist your time and laugh at you in the end !!!! I Wish I could upload all of the times I tried to get approved. I also cut my debt down $125,000 and they still said my debt was too high!!! Bunch of Bull!!!! My experience-100————

I would give this company less than one star if I could. I have very good credit and am an established company. There were minor issues addressed in the beginning. After giving them all my information, they were very excited. They asked me to do several hours of work to put together profit and loss statements. Then they gave me a 1 minute call back that the "bank" did not like the original minor issue because they were different from Smartbiz. "Click" the end. I will never do business with this company again. It is no problem if they don't want to lend the money, but to make you spend so much time and do so much work after they already have the information that is going to make them deny you rises to the level of absurdity. I cannot recommend that anyone use this service.

The people who work in this company are not serious

I received an email from Gloria Hutchinson, MBA at Smartbiz Financials. When I looked up the company the reviews were good; when I tried to find Gloria Hutchinson at Smartbiz, no one existed. I figured I would call anyways and see. When I called, it was a call center and it was not the Smartbiz but a call center that takes calls and routes you to different loan companies. When I asked for the name of the company they hung up on me.

Excellent Customer Service

I was a bit nervous because I had read mixed reviews about Smartbiz. From my own experience, the customer service was beyond what I had expected. I worked with Blake and Terrence, equally phenomenal. Communication was clear, responses were prompt, and they answered all my questions throughout the process. They were both very patient with me and addressed all my concerns. They successfully helped me secure an SBA Loan for my company. Thank you SmartBiz!

SouthState Bank has been the most professional and pleasant loan experience we have ever had as small business owners. The team at both SmartBiz and SouthState helped me navigate all necessary documentation and requirements allowing for quick easy closing process and now I am proud to say I am a business owner!

Best SBA 7a loan experience! (10 star) I gave SmartBiz my information, received a fair but not overwhelming number of lenders who contacted me. One lender (South Side Bank) had a different approach, asking to call, review their process, and learn if they could assist. I accepted. After a 20 minute phone call, they had my business. The next day, I uploaded my information. The SmartBiz Associate who was assigned to me (Leslie) was the best, keeping me informed of the status. On day 2, when my information was uploaded, Leslie gave me an estimated closing date, which was 18 days away! Each Day, I was informed of the loan status. On day 18, there were two documents missing. On day 19, documents received and the loan FUNDED! Amazing! Special thanks to Leslie, and to the lender, South State Bank. Other lenders quoted 45 - 60 days to close. This is my second SBA. The first took over 60 days. SmartBiz Loans and South State Bank were Excellent from start to close.

Smart Biz is just that. Smart Business.
Why would you go to anyone else for your funding needs.

He kept me informed every step of the way. If you are serious about obtaining financing and have your paperwork together, they get you through the process quickly.
