UX needs work, but slides are pretty good
At first, thought there was only one slide per deck. However, later, with the help of support, I was able to find full presentations. The reason for four stars is the site is difficult to navigate. The UX is not great.

The software auto renew money grab
Within a very short time of a charge processing, on the very same day, I informed SlideTeam that I no longer use their product. As with many companies auto renew is not a choice it is a default when you sign-up. That is the case too with SlideTeam. If you do not cancel at the time you sign-up or before the next annual billing then it is your problem. They resist refunding the charges and offer an accommodation, 1/2 the cost and some other software even if you communicate you no longer use their product and want to cancel the charges. They hide behind their policies, let their rules get in the way of good common sense and give no consideration to the individual characteristics of each situation. They would rather have the money, and not consider the fact that on the very same day I requested the refund. Even though I did not download anything or even access anything they feel justified in taking this approach. The last point I will make is they even gave me “a take it or leave it” requirement to respond to their offer within 24 hours. It is safe to say, I left it and will never use them or any other affiliated software products. If anyone should ever ask me about them, I will never endorse a company like them. But I am not through with the yet. I will be taking other steps to include legal to seek the appropriate remedy.

The company is decptive about it's "sign up for free", evidently including a lot of unexpected fine print that I didn't see. I barely used the site, less than 1 hour, under the "seven day free trial," I downloaded 1 template that was no better than what you can get for free on Microsoft CoPilot, and then they made it extremely difficult to get a refund and cancel the subscription. After numerous complaints, and threats of legal action, they offered a 50% refund. More emails. They upped the refund by $20. More emails. I flagged the service on my credit card processor, which I guess they figured out, and maybe they also figured out I was going to contact the FTC and file a complaint (still planning to do that) and then a full week after my cancellation notice they finally refunded my full amount. This drag-out-the-refund policy is evidently part of their business model. This company's actions in this case were entirely consistent with an unethical firm, in my opinion.
Edit to add (9/8/25): I hope readers can judge the response from below. The "Free Trial" is in yellow and in a large banner at the top of the website. The fine print then allows the firm the legal cover to charge you. What use is a free trial if you can't use the software as advertised for free? I have since reported this incident to the FTC. Do a Google search or ChatGPT on SlideTeam and see the results. The results state that my experience is not uncommon. It appears that deceptive advertising followed by an extended process to get any refund is part of their business model. Users beware.

- Resolution: Despite ineligibility, we authorized and processed a **full refund** as a one-time courtesy. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days to reflect on your statement.
- Cancellation: Your subscription has been cancelled, and there will be no further charges.
