Warning: Confirmed delivery date, then pulled a last-minute "Bait and Switch"

Do not trust their live stock indicators or their verbal promises. I ordered a KingsView 600x900mm skylight for £370 last Wednesday. On Friday, they phoned me specifically to confirm that my delivery would arrive today. Relying on this, my building schedule was planned around its arrival. This morning (the actual day of delivery), they phoned back to claim the item was suddenly out of stock. They immediately tried to pressure me into accepting a different product with alternative specifications. Shockingly, their website still actively shows the exact item I ordered as "1 in stock" and available for purchase. This is classic bait-and-switch behavior, and it is a massive waste of time for anyone running a construction timeline. Fortunately, I paid via American Express, so my funds are protected under Section 75 for breach of contract, but future customers should be extremely wary. If they don't have the stock, they shouldn't take your money or promise a delivery date. Avoid.
