Communication and service was excellent

Communication with the company was great before our designated scheduled pick up. Abdul was not only on time but early texting me beforehand to let me know it was an option to meet a few minutes before if I was ready. Which I appreciated since we were headed to the airport. He helped with luggage and getting us a trolley at the airport. He was fantastic and kind!

Taxi did not have child seat. Refusing compensation

Booked airport transfer with child seat, paid.
Paid extra for 1. child seat and 2. larger cab that can fit child seat. Paid approx £110 for peace of mind with the booking and car seat, compared to an Uber (without child seat) which would be £60.

Come booked time, taxi does not show. After 20 mins of chasing, SkyBridge say driver has had a breakdown.
They book me an uber, which does not have a child seat.

Hour long journey to the airport along a motorway with a toddler not in a child seat.

Sky Bridge Card refusing a refund. Only offering £15 "cost of the car seat"

Avoid. Unreliable. Just a rebooking platform with poor customer care.

DO NOT USE if you're travelling with babies or toddlers. Repeated failures, poor communication, incorrect child seats on both journeys and a stressful experience from start to finish.

I cannot recommend this company. If you are travelling with an infant or toddler, or if clear communication, reliability and safety are important to you, I strongly advise you to choose another airport transfer provider.
We booked return airport transfers over a month in advance, specifically paying for child seats and a Meet & Greet service. Unfortunately, both journeys were plagued by repeated service failures.

Outbound journey
Our taxi was booked for 1:00pm. At exactly 1:00pm we received a call saying there had been an accident and that another driver would arrive within 10–13 minutes. We completely understood that accidents happen.
The issue was not the traffic. The issue was being repeatedly misled.
Over the next hour we contacted dispatch several times and, on every occasion, were told the driver was "10 minutes away". Eventually we requested the driver's number directly. She shared her live location, which showed she was still at London City Airport dropping off another passenger. As we live in East London, it was impossible for her to have been ten minutes away.
The taxi eventually arrived 51 minutes late.
Despite booking and paying for a suitable child seat well in advance for our 21-month-old daughter, the driver arrived with only a booster seat, which was wholly inappropriate for a child of her age and size. This raised immediate safety concerns and should never have happened.

Return journey
Following the outbound experience, I did everything I reasonably could to ensure the same mistakes would not happen again.
Whilst we were still on holiday, I contacted the company multiple times, sent photographs of the incorrect booster seat and repeatedly sought reassurance that a suitable child seat would be provided for our return journey. I received written confirmation that a 9 months–4 years child seat had been allocated to our booking.
Despite all of those conversations, messages and written assurances, we arrived at Luton Airport to find that the driver had brought a rear-facing newborn infant carrier—completely unsuitable for our 21-month-old daughter.
The driver then told us he would need to drive us to his home to collect another child seat. After all of the reassurance I had sought before travelling home, it was astonishing that this situation had arisen again.
We had specifically booked and paid for a Meet & Greet service because we were arriving in the early hours of the morning with a tired toddler and multiple suitcases. Instead, nobody met us in arrivals. We were left trying to locate the driver whilst receiving conflicting instructions about where he was waiting, and it took a considerable amount of time to finally reach the collection point he had directed us to. This completely defeated the purpose of paying extra for a Meet & Greet service.

Complaint handling
Following my complaint, the company acknowledged many of these failings, including the repeated inaccurate communication and the concerns relating to the child seats. However, despite these failures occurring across both journeys, the final offer amounted to just £30 on a booking costing approximately £270.

One final point that future customers should be aware of is that my booking and subsequent complaint were handled through both Sky Bridge Cars and Britannia Airport Cars. I booked through one company but was then directed to the other to pursue my complaint, which made an already frustrating experience even more confusing.

I appreciate that accidents and traffic delays are sometimes unavoidable. What is not acceptable is repeatedly providing inaccurate information, failing twice to provide the child seats that were specifically booked and paid for despite multiple contacts and written assurances, failing to provide the Meet & Greet service we had paid for, and exposing passengers to unnecessary stress and safety concerns.

Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. If you are travelling with babies or toddlers, or if dependable communication, professionalism and child safety matter to you, I would strongly encourage you to book with a different airport transfer provider.

Avoid!

I booked and paid through Skybridge Cars for a pre-booked airport transfer on 23/06/2026 for collection on 24/06/2026. All booking confirmation and subsequent correspondence came from Britannia Airport Cars, who appear to be the same company.

On the day of the transfer, I received confirmation that the driver was on the way. However, the vehicle did not arrive. I repeatedly called and messaged the company asking for updates and requesting the vehicle registration so I could identify the driver, but I was repeatedly told the driver was only a few minutes away and no registration details were provided.

It was only after I continued chasing them that I was finally told the driver could not make the journey due to traffic and that I should arrange my own taxi, with a promise that I would be refunded. If I had not repeatedly contacted them myself, I would have continued waiting for a vehicle that was never going to arrive and would likely have missed my flight.

I paid for alternative transport and was then promised a full refund. The company confirmed by email that the refund would be processed within 2–4 working days. That timeframe passed, and despite multiple follow-ups, the refund has still not been received. I have since been told there is a technical issue preventing the refund being processed, with no clear timeframe given.

I found the handling of this situation extremely disappointing and misleading. A pre-booked airport transfer should provide reliability, communication and reassurance — instead, I was left to chase updates, make emergency arrangements, and continue chasing money that I am owed for a service that was never provided.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, do not use, they scam you as you can see by the reviews, I wish I had looked before. Booked a taxi and paid £100 in advance, as per their booking policy, cancelled within 2 weeks as my holiday plans had changed. They said they would refund me, never have, say there are technical issues but do not tell you what those technical issues are. They also say that the person that deals with the refunds will be back tomorrow and when you call they say the same thing. Please do not waste your money. It’s sad that there are people in the world like this.

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience - super well mannered driver, great communication from the company, and interesting conversation on the journey. They proposed the driver come 20 mins early due to a road closure, which was appreciated going to the airport. Better service for cheaper than an Uber.
