What an incredible experience - traveling with Sincerely Macedonia was a trip of a lifetime. The passion from Igor and Jordan in how they showed us the beauty, history, and culture of the country made every day so special.

From many hidden gems, exploring with ease, and showing us the best restaurants and sights to see - each moment was well planned and extremely enjoyable. It was a perfect mix of adventure and leisure. My favorite day was walking Orchid and taking a boat to this restaurant that was actually floating on the water, we had an absolutely delicious lunch and we got to request some classic Macedonian songs from the live band playing music. Then we boated to a monastery that had peacocks and gorgeous views out on the lake.These were just a few highlights of the day! This trip was like a meal of deserts - so many cherished memories. The accommodations were really wonderful and they made sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. I would highly recommend traveling to Macedonia and doing it with Jordan and Igor & Sincerely Macedonia.

I reached out to Sincerely Macedonia to organize a 5 day cultural and nature tour for my 30th birthday and they blew my expectations out of the water! They personalized the itinerary to meet mine and my group's desire of having a mix of local culture, traditional meals, music, and nature. Every day exceed the last, I don’t know how they did it.

As a type A planner myself, this excursion was gift because I didn’t have to think anything (down to the water breaks haha). The organization and attention to detail was impeccable. The organizers were extremely knowledge of the culture and history, delivering everything in a fun and natural way. I also loved how they could adapt to every type of traveler.

Just when my legs were happily tired, the itinerary switched gears: Skopje’s Old Bazaar, street‑art alleys and river‑front kafanas gave me a perfect taste of Macedonian city life after the mountains.

Whether pointing out wild herbs on the Govedarnik trail or explaining Ottoman‑era bazaars back in Skopje, our local guide turned every stop into a living history lesson and kept the vibe fun!

Just a long weekend in Ohrid and I managed to climb up to the fortress for stunning views, and unwind by the lake with fresh fish and local wine. The pace was effortless—enough sights to keep each day full, but always time to pause by the water. Perfect short getaway when you need both culture and calm.

First time in Macedonia ever. Couldn't get enough from the food and the welcoming people! I met and connected with a lot of nice people, both Igor and Jordan were very friendly and made me feel like home. We visited many places, but the St. John monastery left me speechless, from the picturesque mountains, to the architecture and the wooden carvings inside! Definitely would recommend!

Only four days off work and I still fit in mountain hikes, lakeside picnics and a relaxed stroll through Skopje’s Old Bazaar. The itinerary flows so smoothly that every hour feels used, yet I never felt rushed. Ideal little escape for busy people :)

First time traveling to Macedonia. I love it! Jordan and Igor took good care of us and showed us very surreal places. From the sunset over Lake Ohrid to a boat ride through Matka Canyon and a starlit hike to Duf Waterfalls, their itenerary jad a perfect mix of culture, nature, and of course nightlife!

The tour is really well organized and the best this is that we had many opportunities to try good traditional restaurants where we could taste the joys of Macedonian gastronomy.

We also could do beautiful sightseeing, from beautiful lakes to awesome canyons, and the best thing is that the trip is not too demanding, you also get to know a lot of people during the trip. 100% recommended

I still catch myself smiling when I think about this tour. One morning I was watching sunlight spill over silent mountain ridges; that night I was toasting rakija with new friends surrounded by beautiful mountains and with a lake view. The guides took care of all the details, leaving us free to laugh, explore, and just feel the place and the vibes. I came home lighter, happier, and already planning the next trip back.

I needed a break from screens, so I hopped on “Mavrovo Peaks & Skopje Streets.” Four days later I came back with mud-spattered boots, a playlist with macedonian songs, and the memory of that sweet stray dog sleeping on our door every night. The mountain hike fried my calves in the best way and that night Skopje fixed everything with sizzling cheese-stuffed peppers, rakija, and strangers who suddenly felt like cousins.

Six days on “The Hidden Gem Uncovered” and I’m still buzzing. We bonded over meze in Skopje, refreshed ourselves with the beautiful views at Miaksi before drifting across Ohrid’s glassy lake, stargazed in Vevcani after a boat ride to Sveti Naum, hiked to the roaring Duf Waterfalls, and capped it all with a sunset cruise through Matka Canyon and a cable-car dash up Mount Vodno. North Macedonia went from map pin to memory in a heartbeat.

Every meal, ticket and kilometre in the comfy mini-bus was already sorted, so the biggest decision was another shot of rakija or an early night. With just a few fellow travellers and our two tour guides, it felt like an old friends' group!

A great experience! Everything from the website to the people to the itinerary itself was wonderful; well thought out and exciting. I didn’t want the boring tour experience but I also didn’t want to pretend to be a travel expert and do everything on my own, and their program provided me with the perfect balance. For what they offer, I think it’s a super reasonable price.
Sure, you can go to North Macedonia and do your thing but I would recommend doing it with these guys.

We had an amazing 4-day experience in Skopje! Our local host and guide was fantastic—welcoming, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about sharing both the city and the surrounding nature with us.

One of the highlights was a beautiful hike in a nearby village called Mavrovo, where we visited a fascinating church that had been covered by a river. We also went for a hike in Matka Canyon, a huge lake-like reservoir surrounded by cliffs.

The food was incredible. We ate at several traditional Macedonian taverns and every meal was full of flavor and local character, including delicious grilled meats, fresh salads, homemade bread, and of course, plenty of rakija, the local fruit brandy.

Would definitely go back and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Skopje.
