We love SimplyCook. We've subscribed for over a year now and we've never eaten so well. Vegetarian meals at restaurants are very very rarely as good as what we cook ourselves with these magic pots.... See more

Excellent customer care and service and I love their wide choice of recipe boxes, which result in delicious meals.

I love simply cook because their recipes are simple follow, quick and delicious. They are also adaptable, I don't like super spicy food but the recipe usually tells you how you can make it milder. You can also switch out ingredients for others if you wanted to. Most recipes take well under an hour to make which is great when you're busy working. They also don't need tons of ingredients so they save me money on my weekly shop.
Customer service is fab, I had a missing delivery and they were very quick getting back to me and sending a replacement.
Thank you Simply Cook, especially Mia and Mandy who resolved my delivery issue :)

I cooked the teriyaki salmon donburi with my son, who's home from uni on a break. The recipe was adaptable and enough for him to use 6 chicken thighs while i used x2 salmon fillets and the kit was enough for both. He enjoyed the chicken and i definitely enjoyed the salmon, which i did to crispy deliciousness (the skin, that is!). How the Simply Cook team are able to densify all that flavour into those little pots is amazing.

Great selection of meals on offer, they come with a recipe card that is easy to follow.
We didn't receive our box recently, contacted customer services and within a short time received a reply stating they would resend our box and an apology. Thank you to Mia for a speedy response.

I bought a voucher as a birthday gift for a friend but they wouldn't honour it unless he opened an account and handed over his bank details. I guess that's the business model, trying to get people to sign up but don't call it a gift voucher if that's your intention. I got a refund in the end.
Thanks for the response. On the "Give a Gift" page on the website, it says "select the number of boxes you want to gift and we'll send a digital gift card valid for 12 months. The recipient chooses the recipes and whether they want their boxes delivered weekly, fortnightly or monthly." In reality, the "gift" is starting them off on a subscription that they may or may not continue once the monetary value has expired. Maybe that should be a bit clearer.

I got the box for free and wouldn't normally have asked for it, or tried it. However, as it was free, I did, anyway. I usually cook from scratch, but I have to say these were lovely and very tasty. I will keep them in the cupboard.

We gave Simply Cook a go in the autumn after I had an accident and 1 of our animals was ill, just to take some pressure off my family. The plan was great for us in that we weren't stressing about fresh ingredients delivered and must be cooked within a certain number of days. The pots sat by our kettle as a reminder & inspiration to cook a wholesome meal as & when. And we're lucky enough to have both supermarkets & a local Coop nearby to pop to if needed for extra ingredients.
My only negative is a lot of the recipes are spicy so we were a bit limited on choice (the only reason I gave 4* instead of 5*). The recipes we did have were lovely, really tasty & we had control over free-range, low-fat ingredients 🙂
Finally, the customer service was excellent the one time I needed to get in touch. Customer service was via email during office hours but it gave me the flexibility to email at a time that worked for me and the replies were always quick, friendly and efficient. Thank you Mia & Lewis

Tried to order a box with them for the first time with a voucher we got. Spent aaageees selecting recipes only for it to remove the voucher and tell us someone from the household has already used their service.
We definitely didn't, maybe previous tenants, but thanks for wasting our time

Have loved having an account with Simply Cook. There are so many options for meals and all types of dietary requirements are covered. I cannot praise the customer service highly enough. They are very friendly and deal with customer queries super efficiently. And if thats not enough, my husband has started to prepare meals for us. This is great because he cant cook, but can follow the easy instructions. If only I had realised this year's ago!

The recipe kits are a great addition to a busy family & taste perfect.
They take only max 30mins to prepare & wouldnt go back to normal cooking without them as they cut the hassle.
If you have to many you can take a break from your subscription if you drop them an e-mail.
Thanks simply cook!!! Happy new year!!!

I recently signed up for a 4 weekly delivery from Simply Cook. It worked well for first 2 deliveries but I then tried to amend my next delivery date as I was away for 3 weeks.
However I ended up with a delivery of recipes that I hadn’t chosen, 3 weeks before I expected it.
I queried this with customer support and got a quick response explaining why those recipes had been chosen and offering to replace the box if required.
During follow up emails, I discovered that editing my account for a “3 week break” meant that my next delivery would be in 3 weeks time - not 3 weeks later than my planned delivery date in the system.
Bottom line is that the customer support ( MIA) via email was excellent.

I've tried other meal kits in the past but found that they didn't have enough veg, way too much packaging and weren't versatile enough. I like Simply Cook because I buy my own main ingredients (adapting them however I want to) then use the kits to make a simple and delicious meal. I use a put luck approach and let Simply Cook choose my kits - I've not had a bad one yet. It's good value and I look forward to seeing what's in my box each time. Customer service has been excellent. Highly recommended.

Simply cook used to be tasty, and exciting , full of flavours but our last few orders have been so bland I've raided the kitchen cupboard every time to season it, which completely defeats the reason I brought them in the first place. Avoid!

Very good customer service, in fact, I would say, extremely good service. Then there's the boxes with recipes and they are terrific and easy to use. I highly recommend Simply Cook.

So I ordered the free trial £1.98 postage ,but there was a bit of a mix up but it was quickly resolved by Simply cook .
I got my pack of 4 recipes and tried the Sicillian chicken with onion mash and chard lettuce it was absolutely gorgeous and so easy to make ,I changed just 1 instruction, I wrapped the chicken breast in parchment paper and airfried it instead of using the oven ,this kept it juicy .can't wait to try the Keralan prawn curry next 😋
