Things are not always as they appear

Although this company is registered in Australia & has an Australian website & address, do not make the mistake I did of believing I was ordering Australian goods from Brisbane, QLD. The item I ordered was despatched from China & was rubbish. Yes the company refunded me for the item before it was even delivered, given my concern at the item's shipping time, which was contrary to what had been advertised. To me, this also indicates they knew all along that the item was shoddy, but would not accept the return of it when I mailed the item at my expense to the Brisbane address. The package was returned to sender & now serves as a constant reminder to be more wary in future. Guess they didn't want rubbish cluttering up their space either. So beware & take plenty of screen shots of what you are ordering & the conditions offered at the time of your purchase. Order number 412846

We want to assure you that we are a legitimate, registered Australian company. However, due to the high volume of orders we receive daily, some of our stock and fulfillment are managed by our overseas teams—which is what happened in the case of your order. Even when dispatched from our overseas facility, our standard delivery timeframe is typically 5 to 10 working days after dispatch. We are constantly working on improving our logistics and supply chain so that we can eventually dispatch all of our items locally from within Australia.

Regarding your refund, we have reviewed the details with our team. Because you had expressed such strong concerns regarding the shipping time, our team chose to honour your refund request immediately as a courtesy. Normally, if an order is still safely within its advertised delivery timeframe, we advise our customers to wait for its arrival. We issued the refund beforehand simply to prioritize your peace of mind given your distress, not as an indication of the product's quality.

We also apologize for the confusion regarding the return to our Brisbane address. Because the refund had already been fully processed on our end, the system automatically closed out the transaction, which is why the package was returned to sender.

NO refund after three weeks

Think carefully before buying from Simplify Living. My returned items were received by their office on 1 May, and I am still waiting for a refund. After initially receiving what appeared to be AI-generated responses, I was then ignored for two weeks. I was then promised the refund would be processed by Friday 22 May — but I am still waiting, and once again my emails are being ignored.
Very disappointing customer service and refund handling. Buyers should be cautious and may want to consider purchasing from another online store instead.

To give you some insight, our standard return and refund process usually takes 5 to 10 days. However, there are times when the pickup of bulk returns from our facility takes extra time, and manually inspecting and verifying each item can extend this timeframe.

That being said, we have personally checked this with our finance team and am glad to confirm that your refund was fully processed on our end last Monday.

A refund notification was automatically sent to your email at that time. If you haven't seen it in your main inbox, we highly recommend checking your spam or junk folder just in case it was redirected there. Depending on your bank's processing times, the funds should reflect back in your account within 1 to 3 business days.

Single spinner wheel covers

Advertises that you can put wheel covers on a 4 wheel spinner suitcase. Has a 4 spinner option in the drop down menu. When shown photos showing the received product won't work, you first get a very unhelpful AI reply that restates how good the product is. After you escalate it, a human says, "no you can't use it on a single spinner"...sorry. That's it, no further replies to sort out the issue
Wont respond to emails. Asks for reviews but wont publish them. The site still allows you to choose a product that can't be used.

We want to clarify the product compatibility to clear up any misunderstandings. As stated on our website, all of our luggage wheel covers are strictly designed for and compatible with double-wheel spinner luggage bags. They cannot be fitted onto single-wheel luggage styles because the cover relies on the gap between the double wheels to sit securely. We are truly sorry if the dropdown menu options or our previous messaging made this confusing.

If you cannot use the covers at all, you are absolutely welcome to return them for a refund, provided they are within 30 days from the date you received them.

Once again, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and the lack of proper follow-up. Please reply directly to this email request so that one of our dedicated customer service team members can personally take over and assist you with the return process smoothly.

I wanted to reach out and express that my Mom gifted me this bag and as a professional dancer who travels often (both for contracts and for adventures abroad), it has truly been a game changer. After reviewing multiple descriptions…

After reviewing multiple descriptions and specifications of the product, I decided to purchase the Cross Body Bag. The product is exactly as is described on the website; quality fabric and zippers, comfortable shoulder strap, and plenty of room for everything and more that would be carried in a handbag, When the item was received, I realized I ordered the right handed version instead of the left. Simplify Living made the exchange seamless to return. The new item was received within a few days of the order.

Perfect crossbody travel bag

I needed a new crossbody bag with RFID protection for traveling and I am so happy with this one! It’s the perfect size and weight. I mistakenly bought the wrong shoulder side and they answered my question immediately and helped me with my problem. Great customer service. Highly recommend this company and their products!

Not the best designed travel adapter + check for faults.

Be sure to check all USB ports are working as soon as you receive the product. I didnt check mine until I was ready to travel and the USB-C port connection was dead. They wont give me a refund and the replacement will arrive after I depart. Other points to be aware of - the USB ports face downwards when you plug the adaptor into the wall (you have to take plug out of wall so you can see where to insert the USB cables), and there is a bright blue LED light that turns on when you plug the adapter into the wall (which you may find annoying when sleeping). It's not 100% fast charging - its 23min slower than my Samsung wall charger.

The bag itself is great

The bag itself is great, security is great.
I found the inside finishing deteriorating with stitching strands loose and catching in my goods. Maybe a lining or better, secure finish?
Mine has been around different countries with me, and Im going to purchase another...because of the inside state.

My Best Hiking Bag and Day Pack

I purchased the Convertible Anti Theft Cross Body Bag and I couldn’t be more delighted! It’s so lightweight but sturdy at the same time and has just the right amount of pockets. Dropshipppers, not to be trusted

When I saw that the bag I'd bought from Australia was being shipped from China I did an image search. Could have got the same bag for $20 less from Temu or Aliexpress. At least then I would have known I was probably buying rubbish instead of being tricked into thinking they sell quality goods.

Edit: When my bag arrived, the first thing I saw was the Chinese label that was cleverly blurred on the site. The second thing I saw was the cheap plastic lining that I'm sure will tear after a couple of uses. So, no, not quality and not worth the cost.

No support, and 14 day return if not satisfied not honored.

I purchased 7 vacuum travel bags which come with an air pump to both inflate and deflate the bags to compress clothes for packing for over $200. The pump was missing one the nozzles and would not deflate the bags, and when I sought support (no phone support - only emails) they were completely unhelpful. When I said I wanted to return the items for refund in accordance with their warranty of 14 days if not totally satisfied and asked for details of how to do this they did not reply. I would strongly advise not to purchase from them as they did not honor their warranty for a defective product
