I had two issues that the SimpleSwap Team worked on and resolved. I am impressed with how quickly they respond. I would say their response time is one of the fastest I've ever encountered for tech support. Thank you very much, SimpleSwap Team!

A good, user-friendly interface, reliable, and fast operation. For me, this is the best exchange service today. I've used it several times, but this is the first time I'm writing a review.

Let me tell you, I usually don’t write reviews but my experience was so awful I have to warn others. I decided to swap a significant amount of BTC for another crypto. First, I noticed the rate they gave me at the end was way worse than the one advertised. But I thought, fine, I’ll take the hit. I sent my BTC to the address they provided. The transaction was confirmed on the blockchain within minutes..
And then… nothing. For hours.
I contacted their 24/7 support. It took six hours to get a first reply which was just a generic "we have received your request". Every subsequent message from me took 3 to 5 hours for them to reply to. The support person was incredibly rude and unhelpful, acting as if I was bothering them. They kept saying it was under review. It's been a week now, my BTC is gone and I have received nothing. They literally stole my money. This is not a real exchange. Stay away!

This is a scam, I sent them 200 bucks to exchange for Bitcoin, at first they set the exchange status to ERROR and requested additional verification of my funds, after I sent them all the confirmations, they said that they would send my funds within 5-7 days, but they never sent anything!

Update 30/09/2025
They met me halfway and paid me compensation. The issue has been fully resolved, and I am satisfied with the outcome.
----------------------------------------------------
I performed multiple exchanges via SimpleSwap, specifying Cyber Arena Token (CAT) by contract address. Due to a technical routing error on their side, the system repeatedly sent a different CAT token from another contract to my wallet.
Although the tokens were delivered to my address, this does not fulfill the original exchange orders, and I have effectively lost funds through transaction fees and failed execution. I followed all instructions correctly and provided the correct contract address.
SimpleSwap refuses to refund the deposited funds or execute the exchanges correctly, despite admitting the routing error. This behavior is misleading and unacceptable for users relying on the service.
I am reporting this to alert other users and request TrustPilot to review SimpleSwap’s compliance and reliability in handling exchanges.
***
I'm ready to provide all the screenshots of the correspondence and the service's acknowledgement of its error, but they refuse to return anything, citing the incorrect token sent.
Update:
While I'm waiting for a response to ticket 146356, I'll keep everyone updated.

I would like to file a formal complaint against SimpleSwap regarding a serious issue with my exchanges.
I placed several swaps where I clearly specified Cyber Arena Token (CAT) with the correct contract address. However, due to what SimpleSwap themselves later admitted as a “routing error”, I repeatedly received an entirely different token — Simon’s Cat, from a completely different contract.
Key facts:
• 41 CAT → CAT swaps and 7 USDT → CAT swaps were affected.
• In total, I deposited approximately 1,778.78 USDT + over 3.3 billion CAT tokens.
• Instead of Cyber Arena Token, I received Simon’s Cat.
• SimpleSwap acknowledged the error in writing (see their update: “a routing error caused you to receive Simon’s Cat tokens instead of Cyber Arena CAT”).
Despite admitting fault, SimpleSwap refused to provide a proper refund or re-execute the transactions with the correct asset. Instead, they offered only:
• Reimbursement of service fees (28.5 USDT)
• Coverage of minor network fees
• A “goodwill” payment of just 20 USDT
They consider the exchange complete despite the fact that they sent another token. The exchange cannot be completed if I received another asset.
This so-called resolution is absolutely inadequate compared to the real loss, which exceeds 25,000 USD.
Receiving a completely different token from the one ordered cannot be considered a completed swap. By refusing to correct the situation, SimpleSwap has violated the trust of their customers and their obligations as an exchanger.
I respectfully request:
1. That formally review this complaint.
2. That pressure be applied on SimpleSwap to provide a fair resolution — namely refunding the affected transactions or delivering the correct token (Cyber Arena CAT).
3. That this violation be recorded for other users to be aware of.

I've never had any issues with simple swap The customer service is stellar. I made a mistake once and sent DGB to a DOGE address and I sent an email to support and wishing minutes they replied. The transaction was stopped the assets were sent back to the original address all within just over an hour

I tried a swap on SimpleSwap and my coins are stuck for weeks. Every time they ask for more documents, even after I provided everything they requested. Their compliance replies are always generic, no timeline, no resolution. Very frustrating experience.

As part of our due diligence process, we reached out to SimpleSwap’s support and compliance departments over seven days ago. We asked specifically about:
The numerous negative reviews describing funds being held for weeks under “KYC review,”
Their legal presence, country of registration, and regulatory status.
Unfortunately, we never received any reply at all. This lack of response from a counterparty we considered for our clients is troubling on its own.
We therefore conducted our own research and found:
1. Regulatory red flag: SimpleSwap is listed on the UK FCA Warning List as an unauthorised firm (17 March 2025)
2. Opaque corporate footprint: References to “SimpleSwap Ltd.” appear under Saint Vincent and the Grenadines law; their app store listing points to the Marshall Islands; some databases list Cayman Islands; and a UK entity by the same name was dissolved in 2021. No clear regulator or jurisdiction is disclosed.
Problematic customer handling: Their own Terms allow funds to be frozen for “up to 180 days or longer” during compliance checks. This is not theoretical it aligns with many user complaints. In one verified user case Trustpilot review by Muhammad Amir, full documentation was provided, including ID, wallet proofs, invoice, and buyer correspondence. Despite acknowledgement by their compliance officer, funds remained frozen with only template replies. Also we saw many others with same stories . Between the non-response to our inquiry and the serious red flags uncovered, we will not be integrating SimpleSwap for our clients. We recommend customers use properly regulated exchanges instead
