Terrible customer service
I was happy with the box I ordered through Groupon. However I wasnt happy that the Groupon terms was not clear in that your buying a subscription and not a 1 time box.
I am also not happy that my subscription has been cancelled and yet I still have a charge in my credit card for the next box.
You invoiced me 6 days ago for this and no box has bern sent. No tracking information has been provided.
I have been emailing and texting that this was removed and my communication isnt being answered.
Frauding customers is not ok.
I also tried to leave a review on the website and it was not approved.
Eta - i am not sure how much more clear i need to be. I was charged for something i cancelled and was never shipped. Thats called fruad.

Update 8/16/18: Received my next box around the 10th with replacement of the face mask in it. The quality was much better on this one and am happy with the box I received as well as the speed in which I got it. Thank you Scott for the quick replies and for keeping Simple Fishing the best tackle box out there
Update 8/3/18: After simple fishing replied to my review, I contacted them as requested. They were very quick to respond to my emails, even with it being later in the evening and I received a notice that a shipment was coming my way less than 12 hours later. I would have liked to have seen it handled this way the first time I contacted them, but what matters to me is that they are making it right in the end, as any good business should. I will update my review again once I receive my package.
Original review 8/2/18: I had emailed simple fishing about an item I received. The item was of extremely poor quality, something that was screwed up during manufacturing. I was not unhappy about receiving the item, I was unhappy about it being messed up, and I told them that. I received an email back saying, other people were unhappy also that they received that kind of item. Again my complaint wasn't about the item, it was the quality, and the fact they didn't offer to replace it or anything I feel is not good customer support.
I decided after a bit that I should then leave a review of the box on their website. I gave the box a 3 star review and explained that the item was poor quality. They did not publish my review and instead sent me an email explaining there were others that weren't happy with the item also. That is now why I'm posting a review here, because you aren't going to see reviews they don't want you to see on their website, and I feel that's not right especially after giving them a fair review.

Overall pretty darn good for a startup company
Lure selection was good. Customer service is better than most fishing companies. Shipping could have been quicker, got my second boxes a little late in the month. A little more information about the lures would be nice. Maybe online videos on how to rig and use them would be amazing. But overall good work.

Father and Son Time
I subscribed to Simple Fishing for my six year old son. He loves fishing and it’s tons of fun when our monthly box comes and so can teach him about the different products and we can plan out where we’ll use each new item. Hopefully he will develop a life long love of the outdoors but, at worst, he’ll have these memories of being young and spending time with his dad.
Still waiting...

Great way to step up your fishing game!
I am currently halfway through my first yearly subscription and could not be happier with my purchase. Not only is it increasing the options in my tackle box its allowing me to try out a bunch of different tackle and find out what suits my style of fishing and region I fish. Going forward this will allow me to dial in what tackle I spend my money on. Its also saving me a ton of money, not only in the value they list but the fact that small tackle shops in my area are very overpriced and i always end up buying more than i need once i am in there. Love supporting a Canadian company and will continue to!
