I like the platform. The site should encourage more people to reach out. People sign up and just sit there, not contacting other members.

This app cost $60 a month. There is absolutely no way to use it for free. You cannot send messages or likes at all. Do not waste your time unless you want to spend your money for something you can get for free with many other apps.

SilverSingles is a pathetic joke and the WORST dating site I have ever used. It's sad. I live in Oshawa, ON and set my preferences to matches within 40 miles, yet 80% of the "matches" I get are in the US, 300-400 miles away. Any messages I do send are RARELY ever read, which tells me that most of the profiles on the site are fake or inactive. The only two people I have communicated with in my 4 months on the site were both SCAMMERS, LOL. What a joke! Worst dating site ever. Stay away. You will die old and alone before you ever meet anyone on this fake, scammer filled ripoff site.

Dear Siliversingles.com,

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with your service. This is my first time using your dating site, and I made a payment for a 3-month subscription on January 30th. However, my account was unexpectedly blocked on February 4th without any clear explanation. I have not engaged in any inappropriate activity or violated any terms of service.

I am requesting a full refund for my subscription, as I believe I am being treated unfairly. I paid for a three-month plan and should be able to access the service I paid for. If this issue is not resolved promptly,

I will have no choice but to report your company for unethical business practices.

I kindly ask for your immediate attention to this matter and a resolution as soon as possible.

Wasn't happy with this site. Did meet up with one person who was real but there are a lot of scammers. I believe SilverSingles also scam people when your membership is running out. Had several nice sounding/looking guys message me within a few days of finishing subscription, but then they dropped off and deleted their profiles. Very suss! I will never join again.

Most of the matches are farther than the 50 mile minimum range. Many of the matches are fraudulent, as if they are being used as fillers to meet customer quantity expectations. Silversingles claims to “actively remove fake profiles for you safety”. There process is not very thorough because at least 50% of my matches were fake. I asked for a refund and was refused. My experience is not uncommon according to reviews.

Silver singles is such a disappointment. I would never recommend them. You can put in parameters of no more than 50 miles from your location, but you keep getting recommendations that are 150 200 miles away. I addressed this with them and got nowhere Again, I would not recommend using this site

I was automatically renewed without my consent. I then cancelled within the "three-day" refund period. And because they are in a different time zone, they said I cancelled within 4 days without considering the time zone difference. Now I am stuck with a service I don't want to use, and can't get a refund, even though I haven't used the service in months. They "fake" get you to sign up for a premium account by having people "smile" at you -and you have to log on to see who they are and it's not even a real account.

Silver Singles is just another bag of crap dating site. There is no one there and it's provides a zero, zero service. Do not bother feeding your hard earned money into this useless company. It has very deep care about its profits and needs to go bankrupt and dissappear back into the Dumpster where it's founders came from.

Silversingles appears to have many fake profiles. I received multiple profile matches using the same profile pictures but with different names. Most of the matches I received were from people out of range for me. One match posted pictures of himself wearing a speedo type bathing suit. It was obscene. I thought they screened the pictures and profiles. I don't feel safe using the app. Very disturbing. Definitely feels like a huge scam.

Silver Singles is all for money. Yea you can look at some pics and send a smile for free. You can’t look at who likes you unless you pay. So unless you pay it’s useless. If you try to give another option to contact you they reject you.

I would like to let people know that this site has many scammers that have somehow gotten into their site. I did not meet one person because each time I began a two-way conversation with someone who messaged me, I got an email from SilverSingles that this person is not on the site and not to interact at all. I feel I wasted my money and time. I joined another popular dating site and it is so much better. More professional and I haven't had one scamming incident. I've met several nice guys. Just be careful if you really want to join SilverSingles.
FYI, the answer they just gave me after this review is the same one that they send most people. Their "customer service" is an email service that sends the exact same responses also. It's not a reliable dating service and they really just don't care.

I am a new member and I’m really having a difficult time figuring out how things work. I’ll get a notification that someone did something, but when I look at the app or the website, I don’t see anything new. I paid for a membership so I would be able to message because otherwise it seems pointless. I’m not sure why I’m seeing People in my feedfrom out of state either. I guess I’ll figure it out in time.

I've been using SS online dating for about two months now. So far I was contacted by two "candidates" and both were scammers. According to SS member agreement they do not do background check or verify if the person is actually real one. That's kind of sad. If you charge for your services can you at least do basic verification of the person? You do review and approve or reject members pictures and descriptions of themselves. If I know someone's phone number I can find out owners information. You should at least be able to do that.

Chock full of fake accounts and scammers. Good luck trying to find a real person. Total waste of $150. Never again.

I took out a premium membership for one year which thankfully ended in December 2024. To say my experience was disappointing is generous. I met 5 men in total and none were a suitable match. I live south of Sydney and most of my matches were from Melbourne. The site is full of scammers and I was approached by 22 in total. I was notified and the scammers were removed. Administration introduced added security towards the end of my membership and hopefully this will be effective. I do not recommend this site. It does not represent good value for money and was expensive so please look elsewhere.
