We found Shutterhome ltd from a google search, and so glad we did. We originally had Hilarys come round but thought it best to get a second opinion. Phil was professional and efficient and made the whole process easy and clear when choosing what option we wanted. The guy fitting the shutters Dawid is a true craftsman. We’re over the moon with how they look and can tell he is a perfectionist. Not only have we got a great product, but saved money in the process. Big thumbs up from my wife and I. Thanks Phil and Dawid once again.

I am thrilled with Shutter Home and my new window shutters. They were superb at every stage of the process. The consultation and design which Phil did far exceeded my expectations. With other companies I was looking at, they kind of came round, measured up, talked about colours and gave a quote. Shutterhome on the other hand went through every room and helped design it with me. Ie where do you want the posts to be, which way do you want it to open, these nickel hinges would match your door handles etc.

Installation was also superb - Dawid takes a massive amount of pride in his work. It took a full 2 days for 10 windows but with good reason. On the first day, all the frames and shutters were put in the windows and I kind of thought that was fine! Then on the second day, Dawid came back and adjusted everything, put back the skirting boards, sealed gaps with the walls. The installation was immaculate.

The shutters themselves are beautiful. I feel they are an integral part of the house. Fully hardwood in most rooms (plastic in the bathrooms but still look as good) and painted bright white. They make a big difference to the feel of a room and you can keep them mostly closed for privacy / security and a lot of light still streams through into the house.

I'm so pleased to have met a business like Shutterhome who love what they do, are brilliant at both sales and installation and the product is top quality. I wish them every success and recommend them highly.

We have been really impressed with the whole service from Shutter Home.
From the initial enquiry, Phil was friendly and professional with some really great advice when it came to choosing our shutters.
When Dawid came to measure up, he also shared his expertise and was able to help with making the right decision for each window.
When it came to the fitting, Dawid worked meticulously with great skill and craftsmanship.
Above all, the shutters are really good quality and look amazing. Highly recommend.

Phil showed me different styles of shutters and explained the differences between them, he is very knowledgeable in his field. He advised that if we decided to go ahead he would send Dawid over to measure up before he placed the order with the manufacturer. Dawid came round a couple of days later, and spent over an hour measuring the bay window, with a laser level.He also recommended that the window handles were replaced with slimmer ones, so the shutters would fit closer to the window. After David’s visit I now know that our ceiling is sloping forward, and the window is leaning inwards, but because of his precise measurements, everything fits perfectly. Dawid is a perfectionist and fits the shutters as he would in his own house. I had another company quote me a similar price, but they didn’t measure as accurately as Dawid, and never mentioned about changing the handles. I am glad I decided to go ahead with Shutter home, and can not recommend them enough.

Having had 2 rooms with shutters done and been extremely pleased. I have now had my window and patio door completed, as I am in a ground floor apartment.
I am thrilled with the result, firstly Phil took on board my requirements from the area having full sun from mid-day onwards. Therefore different areas had to be closed throughout the day.
On the day of fitting, David arrived on time and took great care in assembling the frame and putting the panels in situ. More importantly he cleared up any mess as he went along, in fact hoovering the dropping dust as he was drilling! All debris was cleared away before he left.
I am thrilled with the end effect, they look so so good and I have far more versatility for blocking out the sunlight than with the horizontal blinds.

We contacted Shutterhome and a couple of other companies based on recommendations and decided to go with Shutterhome after a visit from Phil, he made all of the options clear and gave us professional and honest advice on the best shutters for our home. We ordered our shutters and blinds in Feb and the communication throughout covid was great. David came round at the first possible opportunity to get everything fitted for us and he was brilliant, a real perfectionist. We’d highly recommend Shutterhome, we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience we had and how great the shutters and blinds look.

Paul and Phil at shutter home deliver first class customer service. Their style of sales, customer care, and confidence in the satisfaction of the end product is a rare gem.
We ordered just before Covid shut down, but we’re kept informed and up to date throughout.
