Complete garbage. I bought this overpriced $100+ eswap x 2 controller thinking it would last me much longer than traditional xbox controllers do. It did not even last a full year. I must have gotten this thing only 6 months ago and now the usb port has completely failed on me. Xbox controllers last much longer than that. Dont get anything from this company.
I bought a ferrari wheel on the box it said its for windows 10/11 but on web it says it is xbox only
Want the T.RJ12 USB ADAPTER to connect the Thrustmaster rudder pedals to the PC (the Throttle control unit the connect to now has failed - 2nd one in 2 years which is another issue!).
The T.RJ12 USB ADAPTER is £19 but on shop.thrustmaster.com it is never in stock. Thrustmaster.com and their support could not tell me when it would be in stock and that I should try another seller. Other sellers charge twice the price (£40), including the Thrustmaster store on Amazon. Customer support say that shop.thrustmaster.com have no control over the prices charged by the thrustmaster store on Amazon. Given that one of these adapters is supplied as part of the package if you buy just the rudder pedals (circa £100), it seems odd that the small adapter, when bought alone costs nearly half the price of the rudder pedal set themselves. Someone somewhere is pulling a fast one!
Bought a T598 on release day. At 3 months the USB C socket gave up. I couldn't get an answer on the phone so I opened a support ticket and uploaded;
Invoice
Video of problem
On the 3rd day they emailed and asked for, you guessed it, the same things. I emailed back saying I had already done that. On the 4th day they said the invoice won't open. On the last day, a Friday, I sent them a new copy of the invoice and told them if I didn't get an RMA and a label that day I would return it to the retailer. Heard nothing so I contacted Currys Saturday morning. I then got an email asking if I was still interested in getting the problem sorted.
On Monday the wheel was picked up and the same day I got confirmation that the refund was being processed
Take my advice, if you must have a Thrustmaster product buy from a retailer with proven good customer service like Currys or Amazon.
If I'd bought direct from Thrustmaster no doubt I would still be arguing with them.
Shame, I really liked the T598 :{
Purchase from Amazon December 2024. I bought the GT3 488 Ferrari steering wheel compatible for PC and PS5/PS4. The wheel base I own is the T300 RS GT edition which was updated to the latest firmware V34. This was supposed to be all you had to do for the wheel to work. Well it didn't. No buttons worked no power lights on dash. Not sure if it has not been implemented with PS5;yet, but since the wheel has been out over a year this should not have been an issue. The fact that you have to install the choice of wheel HUB system for the wheel to fit either the new range of DD TM wheel bases or the older version is ridiculous.
I'm quite competent with cable and clips and electronics, but I could see there was an issue with this process. It could be that this item simply had a fault somewhere.
It may be the data cable that you clip onto the motherboard on the steering wheel which upon start up will calibrate and spin very fast, this process which happens every time you start up the console with wheel base on could result in the cable disconnecting!
TM were no help.
So returned this back to Amazon.
I own a lot of the previous steering wheels. Let's just say that TM have gone down hill and the recent poor decisions for the new DD wheel base T598 design choice is awful.
This Build it yourself approach is a disaster.
Avoid TM for SIM racing, if your on Console thats not much help due to lack of choice.
Terrible product
At the start last year for Christmas I got the TCA captains pack but a few months ago the entire product started glitching out and is impossible to use do not get customer service is s#!t stay away from eny thing thrustmaster
I bought the T.16000M joystick 3-1/2 years ago for flight simulation. It has performed flawlessly and I could not be more positive about its design and build quality. I've read poor reviews about this very same product and cannot understand why some folks seem to think failures are someone else's fault. Don't expect these to be bullet proof.
you come home, on a nice afternoon getting ready to play assetto corsa and chill. but no, it turns out that your potenciometer is fucced. you try to fix it as you don't have warranty anymore. what do you find? poor build quality. i'd recommend moza or fanatec over this anyday
Disappointing Performance and Reliability Issues
For a product that costs as much as this, I expected better reliability and performance. My son saved up for this wheel and left very disappointed. SHAME ON YOU THRUSTMASTER!!!!!!
The Thrustmaster TS-XW Racer Sparco P310 has been a major letdown.
First, the power supply intermittently cuts off mid-race, which is incredibly frustrating when you're deep into a session. This has happened multiple times, and no troubleshooting seems to fix it. In addition, the wheel often fails to calibrate properly on startup, making it impossible to play.
Another issue is the weak force feedback. It starts fine, but during longer play sessions, the intensity drops significantly, making the experience less immersive. I've tried connecting it to different devices, but the problem persists.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS..THEY ARE HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DELIVER POOR QUALITY...WELL, THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! BOYCOTT THRUSTMASTER!! THEY MUST ADDRESS THESE ISSUES address these issues AND OFFER SOLUTIONS TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
Thrustmaster has completely ignored my multiple requests for assistance. Their customer service is non-existent. This level of performance and lack of support is unacceptable for the price tag. If you’re considering this brand, don’t waste your time or money. Stay away—it's not worth the headache!
IF "0" stars was an option, it would be of better accuracy. Absolutely APPALLING customer service, and faulty merchandise.
We purchased the Ferrari F1 Racing wheel & the T300 base for our 14 year old son as a Christmas present, in November of 2023. Just 6 months of regular use, and the equipment started to pause on its own, buttons started to auto press on their own,
while playing F1. We reached out to customer service right away(June 2024). We are now in September of 2024, 13+emails, with c.s rep Juan, jumping through a plethora of hoops, performing 5 separate diagnostic tests for this rep &no resolve. I should mention 4 weeks into the email gong show with him, we asked to have this issue escalated to a manager, he asked for our patience and to perform 2 other diagnostic tests, so we did ! Bringing us to today. 4 months into the "smoke and mirror show" and absolutely no resolve, no escalation to management, NOTHING. We asked to simply have them honiur their warranty, and send back the 2 units (they can also diagnose their faulty issues), and either have replacement units sent or our monies refunded. Instead we have gotten no where, wasted 4 months with nonsensical "communication " and have faulty useless garbage gaming equipment that we paid $700.00 for, 7months ago! Our son has been without his one Christmas gift...a gift that the company that manufactured it, does NOT stand by the product, nor their customers.
All the thrustmaster eswap controllers are thrash, idea is good but customer service is non existing, controllers break really fast, sticks break really fast, electronics in these controllers are the worst quality there is on any market, dont buy ever, this company needs to be shut down.
Bought a T248X off eBay and it was working fine, until suddenly it started clicking, obnoxiously loud. We took it apart and fixed it with a few cable ties. Until today (2 Sept. 2024) when the entire FFB went dead. I honestly can't be bothered opening it up again so I'm going to start looking at Logitech wheels, a company I trust a hell of a lot more. Guaranteed, my bad experience could be down to the fact I bought my wheel of eBay, but I highly doubt it.
I was given this eswap S pro controller as a gift. A mere three weeks later, I have drifting issues. I tried updating the firmware in case it had an effect but the software wasn’t able to detect a controller despite the fact that the computer detected it. Decided to contact their customer service. They had me do tests which proved there was an issue and then asked for the receipt. When they saw it was refurbished, even thought it was purchased less than a month ago they said they couldn’t do anything but sell me new joysticks, at full price, with shipping fees so expensive it was cheaper to buy a controller brand new from a less crap company.
It’s simple, you don’t want to have to deal with companies that refurbish their product, sell them for profit but has such shady workmanship that they don’t even guarantee their work for a month. It’s disgusting.
I'm a disabled father of 2 teenagers and in 2 weeks I'm having my 4th neck surgery and I reached out to thrustmaster to see if they could give me a coupon for the ps4 t300rs gt bundle as I'm disabled and can't afford to buy anything. I explained that I'll be stuck laying around for about a year healing and that it would be awesome if they could help a disabled single father out with a coupon and I was told no, they don't do that and aren't able to help me but kept saying that they were here to help me. I asked for a manager and the same woman emailed back no that I should just go on the website and watch for sales. Yes that's literally what I was told by thrustmaster. I honestly have to say that it's really sad how disabled citizens get treated nowadays. Guess I'll try to find another company willing to help, although that won't happen, they abuse disabled people in this country.
Brought thrust master T.16000M fcs Hotas with throttle control not 12 months ago. button one now very intermittent response and getting worse ,
Had Microsoft sidewinder for well over a decade
Looking for alternative manufacturer
Sadly, I have had issues with the Thrustmaster products t3pa Pro Add on, Given to me needed new (Pots) less then 12 Months they were causing data error (No Brake 75% Throttle at 100% Pedal The PC wheel (t3000RS base) Has Metal Paddles and plastic hinge plates that I have broken on me 3X Now. Do not have much for spare parts be in T-lCM Springs, bushings are plastic. Just not as impressed as I was 2 or so years ago
I Ordered a Stick and base for DCS on a Friday, and after doing a lot more research I found Winwing HOTAS. So I emailed on Sunday to cancel the order with my email. They asked for my order number to delay the cancellation process as my email was connected to the order I used. They shipped two days after they responded by email. So four days later, they said they can't cancel. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They do not have worthwhile customer service and I will never buy anything from them again.
Terribly made controllers. At first, it was wonderful: great responsiveness, great feedback from the buttons, and great trigger and mapping capabilities.
But THEN, the sticks began messing up and the cable/USB connection port began to degrade, so the controller spazzes out. Often times, at random intervals, my stick drift will go from 0 to 100 and cause my camera to spin around like I'm attempting the world's craziest 360 nose scope. And it's impossible to overcome. You can try unplugging and plugging the controller, but the malfunction will come and go, always at the worst times.
Thrustmaster's customer support is full of irrelevant, useless people who lead you down of rabbit trail of "providing evidence" just for them to tell you they don't think anything is wrong with your controller. You guys should be ashamed of your company.
Absolutely terrible company. They totally try making all their money off you buying replacement parts.
I hate this company !
I’m a Rocket league player. I’ve bought the eswap x great controller until you realize that the joystick’s are absolute garbage because they last 2 weeks before having 99% drift…
Then it’s the buttons they start half working.
Then I bought the eswap S same crap.
Don’t buy their controllers absolutely crap.
They make their money from the replacements.
Purchased an SF1000 Ferrari add on wheel rim & the unit went faulty after 1 month. The screen stared to flicker and then stared pausing the game and changing the cockpit view all on its own. I'm stuck with these products but would recommend keeping away from the brand as a whole. Very frustrating to deal with also.
