I thought I got scammed when I bought health supplements from a company. I was unable to cancel order when I suspected something, so that is not good. I did receive what I ordered and the tracking of the package was good, so I have mixed experiences with shop.app

Useless,(when it actually works!).No tracking whatsoever and its a day late telling you your package was delivered.

How come something like this is allowed in the UK should be banned

Unable to pull up my order tracking status as Shop only allows Gmail emails or outlook to access. Really when you use a different email provider ( which I did) shop does not allow access to them! Plus if you do use Gmail shop wants access to all your emails and settings in that Gmail account!!!!!! Not a trusted company!?

I did not authorise using Shop.app how did this occur, does it mean they have my card details, is there a charge and how do I stop this being attached to me. Googling what to do to unlink does not give sufficient advice, I need a step by step.

Too much fraud on this site no way to get your money back . Website is not help or care. Breyer beware

Awful, my refund was sent from the supplier and proof shown. Shop never gave me the refund, kept saying I should contact my bank, I did this several times and was told it was not a problem with my bank. Raised an issue with shop and was just met with AI responses. Scammers!!!!!!

I didnt order through shop but after paying got sent to shop app Shop app has no customer service Doesnt help part of scams i believe! Do not use shop app you will lose your money and not receive merchandise you ordered

Order has been on the way since February 13 and still hasn't arrive almost a month must be hand carried. Not please at all

Ordered a coat January 28th 2026 here it is March 6th 2026 still have not received coat. Contacted seller shop neither one contacted me back and seller gmail doesn’t work…. Shop only good for tracking. Order with caution

Stay away. Unlike Amazon who takes accountability for the order, and enables returns, Shop does none of that. They push that onto the store, often an overseas company, that rarely has customer service. And they use shipping parties that are awful w little to not tracking.

Had a notification about an order that did not belong to me for a large amount and got nowhere with SHOP trying to get help absolutely useless and will never use again

I have begun avoiding products delivered through shop altogether.

If I could give zero stars, I would I’ve previously used this app two years ago and didn’t have any issues.

However, this morning I woke up to a notification of order confirmation. I hadn’t placed any recent orders and when I looked at the order receipt. I could see that it was clearly attempted fraud as the billing address was somewhere in America and I’m a UK citizen. the name used was my email address name, which is a play on my government name. None of the details was correct for myself as well. It was a communications order for a company in America that I have never heard of or placed an order with them.

Thankfully, the account details that have been saved on the app without my knowledge is an expired card. Nothing has come out of my account. I attempted to report this to shop and the response that I got was appalling. Advising me

It is an old order that you may have forgotten about.

Another user with a similar email address made a typo when placing their order on an online store, resulting in your email address being associated with an order that does not belong to you.

A family member/friend bought you a gift using your email address (most common around the holidays).

A shipping carrier has assigned a recycled tracking number to an order.

A marketing email that is being mistaken for an order.

You are registered with an Informed Delivery Service (like USPS Informed Delivery) that is pulling order notices into the Shop app.

When I tried to dispute this as it was clearly none of these options and stated I wanted this investigated further. I have received no further response from shop. I have reported this attempted to the police as well as my bank.

I would not advise anyone using this app or service. The details are not secure and if you ever have any problems and need assistance, they are of no help and do not care about their customers. 

Horribly misleading app that just steals your data.

How is this not illegal. It is pretending to be a tracking app but actually it steals all your data via your email and curates shopping promos.

The homepage has nothing do to with tracking. It is literally promoting companies that I have subscribed to via email and showing me similar items that I have purchased.

Duh, right, the app is called "Shop". Well, the actual company I used directed me to track my parcel through Shop and it has to be done via their rubbish app.

Even if you go through your orders the information is bare. No tracking updates listed, they just want to spam you with push notifocations.

Supports companies which scam you. Then claim its nothing to do with them.

I absolutely hate this app. It saves your information, including credit card information, without the customer knowing. It is automatically selected at the bottom of most check-out pages from website that use this ridiculous app.

I have deleted this app and my card details, which I did not give it permission to store, multiple times. This app is hell incarnate.

Why does it take 30 days to delete an account? This is unjustified and endangers users. The Shop app is untrustworthy and merchants should avoid it. As a consumer I would not knowingly choose it and would avoid any online merchant forcing me to use it.
