i ordered from a shirt from a merch store made with shopify, and it made me download this app named “shop”. Absolutely not reliable, doesnt let you track your stuff. Scam, and my package isnt even here yet, its almost been a month. Shitty ass app

made account against my will and without out any sort of confirmation (other than a single email afterwards) not once but twice!
and it wouldnt let me delete my account without 3 different level of confirming (twice to get in and another time to actually delete it)
and then it says that it take upwards of 30 days to delete my data WHICH I NEVER CONSENTED TO THEM SAVING IN THE FIRST PLACE

This “safe purchase” app is a load of rubbish. Iv been conned of £60 & Shop won’t do a thing. I even paid for THEIR express order.
Seller not responding to emails and SHOP no help whatsoever ever. SCAMMERS AVOID AVOID AVOID

I would give them ZERO. what a con. Failed deliveries, no response. Companies just disappear off the app. Then everything you buy somehow goes through their app. Avoid avoid avoid

SHOP APP IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS.
I ordered from BrightsNest, got a message from shipping company that my address cant be located in Green Valley AZ. WHAT A COINCIDENCE SINCE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS CLEARLY SHOWS OKLAHOMA CITY.

Shop app says contact the vendor and the shipper, so what good is shop app?

Bought blouse from a company called Kingston London, product was sub standard customer service doesn't want to know so keep away from them ...... scammers. Shouldn't Shopify check out these companies before advertising them

Tracking NEVER happens. Just says "waiting for details" with every single order. It doesn't give any info other than that fact that I bought something from somewhere. HATE THIS APP! POINTLESS app that vendors should stop using.

Absolute garbage. They strong‑arm you into installing their app just to track an order, and even then it’s basically useless, no real updates, no transparency, nothing. The whole system feels like a pointless barrier between you and the merchant. If a seller uses this platform, that’s an instant deal‑breaker for me. It adds zero value and only creates frustration.

Not worth even one star many many scammers selling their products on here don't use this app you'll never get your money back you will never get any help or communication with anyone and that's just the way it is I've experienced it it deserves a minus five stars

I actually like this but there are red flags people should be aware of. Do not be fooled into thinking that shop vetts any of the stores. They don’t. And if you get scammed, they’ll do nothing to help. They won’t even drop a scammy shop from their service. I ordered from ATELERA, a purse scam. I paid the “stupid tax” but you shouldn’t. Vet every store yourself and don’t get complacent!!!!!!!!

Absolute scam. Never received my goods, they did not care at all. Do not use them.

Spruiking goods from a store called Lume Melbourne. Its not based in Melbourne - they are Chinese. Selling leather boots - they're not leather, they're polyurethane crap painted to look slightly leatherish! Lume won't accept the goods are not what was advertised. Made a complaint to Shop who referred it straight back to Lume who - surprise surprise - won't accept the goods back or return payment. There is no good faith involved with Shop - they are as big a scam as the sellers they represent. I would give them no stars if I could

Never again. O order due 3 days ago. Nope no help either not chat nor no email response. Can't track cause they don't even give you a tracking number?!?!?! 😞 Will I get refund for not getting my order. Will never deal with any (shop) service lousy customer service don't order

I hate that this app is imposed on the customer. It does not help at all. It doesnt contain simple information informing the customer when the product is going to be delivered. Brands and companies should not align with this product until they have fixed this issue. Or they should provide customers with an alternate way to track the order. This has happened to be twice now.

I minimize use of Shopify to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, some sellers I purchase from use Shopify, which I despise. I unwillingly have a Shopify account in order to purchase from certain vendors. Then I do damage control, including deleting my payment method. Apparently, Shopify steals and uses my personal information. This Bad Stuff reminds me of PayPal experiences.

I made an order at online shop, and somehow they didn’t provide me with tracking details at first, but forwarded me to this app. I downloaded it at first but didn’t like how much info is gathered there, also they wanted password and access to my email! Seriously? Also tracking info was wrong. I deleted my account there.

What is going on with all these apps taking over tracking deliveries and doing a crappy job doing it. Wake up America! Damn SHOP app on my phone said my chain saw would deliver today Sunday after a week in transit. Now they say Wednesday. Are you kidding me? I changed my schedule to cut trees for a friend, and now I got egg on my face. Greenworks should stop using SHOP or I will not order from them again.

Force you to install their app to track packages even though they could very easily show it on order status screen. I hate that companies are using such a poor experience and abusive behaving system.
