Sewing Machines Direct (SMD) is a family-run business that has supplied sewing machines and associated products since 1960. We specialise in supplying sewing machines, overlockers, embellishers, embroidery machines, sewing/embroidery machines, steam presses, roller presses and various sewing accessories. We are aware that in today's increasingly competitive environment, it is important that we continue to focus our efforts in maintaining the first class customer service that we try to provide. Feedback lets us know what we are doing well and also what we can do better. Receiving feedback from customers and also by the amount of repeat and recommended business we receive, we feel that we are going some way to achieving our goals and that our efforts are being recognised and appreciated.

Sewing machine purchase

I ordered a sewing machine and it arrived the next day
Quicker than Amazon prime.I had a query about paperwork I contacted the company it was sorted out right away.
The customer service was really good just what is needed when purchasing an expensive item.

First class service

I used online chat for advice on a machine I was thinking of purchasing, placed an order, and had received and tested the machine, all within 24 hours! Absolutely outstanding service from Sewing Machines Direct. This is the third time I've purchased from this company, and I'm happy to say the service has been excellent on all three occasions. I wouldn't use any other company, and highly recommend.
