I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Secure Data Recovery! Being a photographer, sports and all, not to mention my very own priceless memories, I was completely stressing when my external hard drive decided to go berserk. My clients rely on me to deliver their images quickly and having reliable storage is a priority. From a business standpoint, image recovery was a necessity. From the get-go, my questions were answered and the process was explained thoroughly. I was able to send my WD Passport quickly and received a diagnostic update within a couple days. Getting back all the data I thought I had lost. Service was performed quickly.

While I appreciate the responsiveness of the person assigned to assist me, I feel that some things regarding the recovery of data, especially with a tablet, should have been made clear up front. While I do have my information, I have been (so far) unable to access it. I've had to download programs to my laptop that are clearly meant for people who program. Unfortunately I had to have my laptop had to be wiped clean so I have to try and start again.

The customer service was very accommodating. As a student I had a tight budget and the team was able to work around that to help me out. Everyone on the team showed compassion and kindness.

My portable drive failed suddenly, and unfortunately was not backed up properly. Secure Data Recovery Services was able to recover all of my data, thankfully. I spoke to Elliot on the phone and dropped off my device for an initial evaluation. He was very clear about the process, the costs and the timeline. Throughout the process he answered questions for me quickly and patiently! Though I hope to not find myself in the same situation again, I would highly recommend the service.

Very high pressure sell, assuring recovery. Misstated fees and handling costs which created surprises. Once media was received, I received a note stating they would be able to recovery the data. I later learned this wasn't true, but they could attempt additional recovery methods for an additional fee. Our media was lost when shipping back to us. SecureDataRecovery's response was 'they submitted a claim to the shipping company.' We not only wasted our money, but now do not have the media to attempt to get it fixed anywhere else. It contained all childhood pictures of our kids from birth to present. Gone forever! Do not use!

What I appreciate about SecureDataRecovery was feedback throughout the process and in the end the data it need recovered. We often forget how important something is until it is lost. You recovered important data that would have been impossible to regained.
