Massive delays in delivery.

I ordered on 16th December, these two swimsuits are still not delivered on 18th January, I leave for a holiday on the 21st so I doubt they will arrive. Nearly £80 wasted, really disappointed in the quality of service.

First order, two weeks in & no update on delivery. Then out of blue a message saying, not in stock! Three weeks & nothing so requested a refund/ wonder how long that will take. Unimpressed sorry!

Tried to bribe me to remove negative review!!!!


I spent months trying to get a response from this sham of a company last year when I wanted to return some items.
Complete silence from them. Zilch.
So I left a negative review on here and ended up selling the items myself on eBay to recoup some money.

Out of the blue this morning I finally get an email from them offering me a £10 off my next order if i take down the original review.

I’m not sure what is more annoying….that they finally email me after months of frustration because it suits them….that they make a paltry offer of £10 off when they still owe me £140….that they’ve tried to bribe me…...or THAT THEY ARE DELUDED ENOUGH TO THINK I’D ACTUALLY PLACE ANOTHER ORDER WITH THEM.

Steer well clear of this immoral ‘company’.

Bought boy short set with cap sleeve…

Bought boy short set with cap sleeve top for holidays last year. I wore it every single day at the pool. I didn't need to worry about sun cream on my back or shoulders. I had the time to concentrate on the kids more. I was so impressed that I have bought another set for this years holidays so I can rotate.

Amazing swimsuit for masc style

I have been looking for a swimsuit that fits my more masculine style and this is now the only website I will be using! It was true to size as well which is unusual. I will definitely be using Seafancy again. Thank you for making me feel confident in a swimsuit!

Great range of swimwear

Great range of swimwear. At 70 something I’m not keen on legs that come up to my armpits and Seafancy have plenty of elegant alternatives. But most of all I praise their customer service. Incomparable!

Be careful!

I ordered two identical swimsuits with the intention of returning the one that didn't fit. Although some information regarding returns is available on the Sea Fancy website, it isn't totally transparent. I had a prompt response to my email requesting details on how to go about returning the unwanted swimsuit but the process was tortuous, involving posting the item to New Jersey, USA, and it was clear from the tone of the email that it wasn't an option favoured by the company but if I 'insisted' that would be my choice. The preferred way forward for the company was a gift card or partial refund on the unwanted item. Although Sea Fancy has a co.uk website, I think it's based elsewhere in the world. The tone and some of the phrasing in the emails I received are not 'standard', and I was made to feel like I was an awkward customer.
The tankini looks ok in terms of quality but I'll only know for sure when I use it. The waist band on the one I wanted to return is slightly twisted.
I didn't want the hassle of returning an item to the US, and I had a very strong feeling that the company didn't want me to do that either ('for some commercial reasons') so I kept both and accepted a partial refund (minus a handling fee of £18!!!)
All I can say is that I feel there's something very odd about this company and I shan't be a repeat customer.

Secondly, we continue to be sorry that our return policy has not met your expectations. Currently, our return policy requires customers to cover their own return shipping costs, and alternative options such as gift cards are proven and popular forms of compensation for many customers. Returning an item is a basic right of our customers, which we certainly support and protect, so the return address is sent to the customer along with the compensatory programme. Regarding the after-sales experience you mentioned in your feedback, we apologise for the unprofessionalism of our customer service representatives.

Lastly, whether you choose to shop with us again or not, we sincerely thank you for supporting us this time.

Did not have a good experience

I ordered 4 swimming costumes in different sizes, as I’m never sure what size I’ll be. They took 3 weeks to arrive. When they arrived, none of them fit. I reached out to Seafancy for a refund, and was offered 30% refund and to keep the items, or a gift card. I explained I wanted a 100% refund and had no use for the items. They then returned back to me to say they could offer a 60% refund, and I could keep the items. Again I explained I wanted 100% refund. On the third email, they said they would issue a full refund less £7 handling fee per item, and I still didn’t have to return the items. I took this option as I really couldn’t be bothered to go back and forth with them.
A very wasteful company, would not use unless you are certain of your size!
In response to the reply below - I never said I was unwilling to cover the cost of postage to return. I was unhappy with the option of not getting 100% refund which was not offered until the 5th or 6th email, even though I asked for that in the first email!

Worst company I have ever purchased…

Worst company I have ever purchased from. They let me buy things off the website that weren’t even in stock. I waited over a week without shipping, I reached out to them then they told me they didn’t have the item. If they didn’t have the item they should have reached out to the customer first not the other way around. Then I picked a different swimsuit and they said they would ship both separately so I would get them on time for vacation. Nope, didn’t get them for vacation because it took them another week to even ship it. I ordered a month before my vacation.

Horrible refund/exchange policy!

Horrible refund/exchange policy! Will not buy again!
Three options:
1) 30% charge for refund,
2) $15 to purchase new one in correct size,
3) $11 plus shipping to return item altogether.

I opted for option 2 - I now have a large sized bathing suit I can't wear plus a medium sized, which is still big, but will not go through ridiculous, money-grab return process again!

All of the bathing suits I received…

All of the bathing suits I received were really poor quality, seams were crooked, bra inserts were thick, round and visible through the suit, sizes varied widely from one style to another. Super disappointing. Waste of money.
