Deposit insurance

During our charter week in Greece we had an small accident and lost some part of deposit. Luckily, deposit was insured by Hamburger Yachtversicherung Schomacker. Our case was handled very professional way. Clear instructions and communication (Amine Nupelda Kaplan) was very helpful. The company is highly recommended

Top Insurer for UK residents.

After a quick search, I found this company that offers insurance for UK residents. I wanted to insure deposit I paid for Catamaran I chartered. I saved £££ insuring my deposit with them. I called them as I had no idea how it works and they were extremely professional and helpful answering all my questions since it was my first time buying charter deposit insurance. Sadly, I had to make a claim and they were again very professional handling my claim with utmost fairness. I highly recommend them specially if you are UK resident. Don't buy the insurance the charter companies offer you. Remember to take photos and videos of the yacht and not disclose any details about your insurance to charter companies. Specially if you are chartering in Italy/Greece! Sadly my guests were not familiar with sailing and as the result caused some damage on the boat but thankfully I was insured with HY. Best decision ever.

Great service

During our charter week we had an accident with the dingy that went flat, operator refused to patch it and purchased a new one. Hamburger service was fast, fair and gave clear instructions. I got excellent service with excellent communication throughout. This is a company you can trust.

For our last sailing trip in Greece, we unfortunately had to call on our deposit insurance with Hamburger Yachtversicherung Schomacker. This was handled in a very professional way, with quick and direct feedback (Amine Nupelda Kaplan). Can only recommend it.

Profesional

We go sailing often twice per year and alsways take Schomacker as our insurer. After a recent trip we lost our deposit. The profesional way the Schomacker team (Ms Pilski-Sender and Mr Syllwasschy) handeld the whole case was exceptional. Quick and very customer focussed, gladly recommand!
